Chapter 84 Danger
Chapter 84 Danger
"Winter Villa."
Tracy Dora froze, Winter Villa? That girl went to Winter Villa? Who was that girl? Tracy couldn't believe that Nick took her to the Winter Villa.
If she would suffer from asthma attacks, it was not because of Nick Cage again, was it?
Wouldn't this man be gentle? Why did he have grudges?
After the phone call, Nick Cage picked up Veronica Parker and carried her back to his room.
Veronica gasped hard and breathed painfully. Nick was there to hug her and comfort her.
This was not right! Nick Cage should have thrown her out the gate. Then, she would secretly run away. After her first asthma attack, Nick Cage wanted to check whether it was true or not so he would no doubt it this time.
Of course, she was just pretending to be asthmatic but this development was very different from what she imagined!
Why did he want her to be cured?
When he entered the room, Nick put Veronica on the sofa and sat. Nick's hand was on her side, he was trapping her on the sofa and the shadow covered her tightly.
Veronica, with her eyes closed and her lips open, was still gasping hard, she was still feeling the danger approaching.
But she was afraid to stop.
"I'll let you go now." The breath of Nick Cage was low with a magnetic coldness.
Veronica was stunned. She opened her eyes and met the stare of his obsidian eyes. Did she hear him right?
"Why did you stop painting?" Nick asked.
Veronica Parker reacted to his gasp and stopped after she heard Nick's words.
It was over, she was already discovered!
He held her jaw. "Do you think it's good to play tricks in front of me?"
"Oh, it hurts." Veronica's jaw was crushed by him and his hands clasped her wrists.
His strong hands frightened her.
She didn't even know how Nick Cage found out that she was only faking her asthma.
Nick suddenly loosened his tight grasp and got up. "Wait for the medicine to be delivered, don't spoil my fun next time."
With that, he turned around and left.
Veronica Parker sat up with a flustered look on her face.
It would not be violent when Nick and she went to bed later, right? That thought scared her out!
No, if things would really go on like this, could she go back at night?
What about her children?
What Veronica Parker cared about the most was the six little ones at her home. They were much more important than her own safety.
Veronica Parker stood up and looked at the door. When she didn't see Nick, she immediately took out her cell phone and called Isabella.
The other end of the line rang several times and no one answered.
Veronica Parker was so anxious that she was flustered. Why didn't she answer the phone call? Was she resting?
She kept on calling Isabella's number.
After a few more rings, someone answered and she heard Isabella's voice, "What's wrong?"
Veronica breathed a sigh of relief. "Isabella, can you help me go home?"
"I'm not at home. "
"Did you went out and left the children at home alone?"
"Yes, because it happened for a reason, I just didn't expect that it would take so long."
"Really, then next time give me a call first before you go out. What if something happens to the children? All right, I'll be there now."
"Thank you."
"Don't thank me. Are you all right?"
"I'm fine. I'll try to go back as early as possible." Before Veronica finished speaking, she felt a presence with her inside the room.
She looked up and met the dark and cold eyes of Nick. She was so scared that she immediately hung up her cell phone.
His eyes were flustered.
When did Nick arrive? He was so fast and silent. He was a terrible beast that suddenly appeared behind her.
