Chapter 869 I Want To Go Back
Chapter 869 I Want To Go Back
The maid was scared to cry!
The sea was not far away, it was too easy to throw it in!
"What are you doing?" Veronica was startled and asked.
Nick's black eyes stared at her without emotion and said nothing.
"Nick, can you accumulate some virtue for your children?" Veronica asked, holding back tears.
Nick walked over, pinched her chin, held back her tight heart, and looked into the tearful eyes. "It's up to you to decide whether to accumulate virtue or not!"
There were more and more tears in Veronica's eyes, and finally, he compromised, "I'll just eat."
"Go and get it!" Nick stared at Veronica and ordered the maid.
The maid returned to her senses and went to get the food.
Veronica pushed her jaw hand away, her face tilted away, tears dripping on the quilt, clattering.
Nick's eyes fell on her face. His black eyes were well aware, and his chest was dreary.
Nick stared at Veronica's portion before getting up and leaving.
"I want to go back!" Veronica said hurriedly at the back.
Nick turned around and walked in front of Veronica. The shadow came down dangerously. "Don't be in a rush to go back, I'll come back in the evening."
Veronica barely breathed and stared at him blankly.
What Nick meant was that it will continue.
"Don't do this, Nick, don't do this. I'm begging you. " Veronica begged with fear and pain as tears fell down her cheeks.
Nick took her in his arms, picked her up, put her on the bed, and oppressed her, "Reflect on yourself here, okay?"
Veronica watched helplessly as Nick left.
Listening to the sound of the helicopter leaving, she struggled to get out of bed until she could not hear it.
She did not want to stay here. She wanted to leave.
When she got dressed and walked up the observation platform and down the steps, she was stopped by the bodyguard who appeared.
"Miss Parker, where are you going?"
"I want to go back to my apartment. I don't want to stay here!"
"Sorry, Mr. Cage said you can't leave." The bodyguard won't get out of her way.
Veronica went back to the bedroom, left the door, and went downstairs.
She just walked out the door and was stopped by the bodyguard again!
"Go away! I want to go back! " Veronica reached out to push the bodyguard, but no matter how hard she pushed him away, it was useless. She cried in despair, "Why are you doing this to me? Let me go! Let me go!"
Veronica fell to the ground helplessly, crying, "Why?"
The maid came to help her. "Miss Parker, don't sit on the floor, it's cold."
Veronica pushed the maid away, got up, went back to the room, closed the door, and slipped to the floor against the door.
What was she expecting?
Was she expecting Nick to just verbally abuse her?
If he doesn't let her go, she can't even get out of the gate.
When Nick came back and entered the bedroom, he saw Veronica lying asleep in the corner of the door.
He went over and squatted down in front of her, his black eyes focused, his rough fingers gently sliding across her delicate face.
"No. Don't. " Veronica sensed danger in her sleep and babbled.
Nick gently rubbed his palm against Veronica's sleeping face which woke her up.
She opened her eyes vaguely and looked at the person in front of her, at a loss for a moment.
When she saw who it was, she was subconsciously nervous, clinging to the door behind her, looking flustered.
Nick's attentive black eyes regained clearness, stared at her, stroked the palms on her face, and asked in a hoarse voice, "Are you still running? Are you still talking nonsense?"
Veronica's eyes trembled slightly, and the water mist was reflected in her eyes.
