Chapter 889 The Woman That Was Chloe Bowen
Chapter 889 The Woman That Was Chloe Bowen
She ignored it and the handsome guy next to him said a few words. But after seeing that he was boring, she turned around and left.
Chloe Bowen was a little drunk and looked at the wine in the glass with melancholy.
She was living the life of a carefree rich wife and there is no need to worry. There were fresh and handsome guys delivered to the door.
She had a full of sense of achievement.
There were more luxurious materials for her to enjoy.
But now she was having problems.
Chloe was the kind of woman who tried to rob another woman of her life. Chloe did whatever it took to get into that woman's rich family by virtue of the price of her being a mother to a son. But the truth was the baby that Chloe gave birth to belonged to another man. Now she was being threatened by this man.
She couldn't help but regretfully thought that she should have killed Eden Cage a long time ago.
In the hospital, she missed such a good opportunity.
She doubted that Kevin Cage really liked her that much. She knew it was not necessarily the case. But it didn't matter. It was enough that she was the rightful wife.
As she pondered about all these, Chloe got drunk and fell on the bar.
The bartender at the bar was about to wake her up when suddenly, a woman wearing a mask came over and handed him money. The woman told him, "Please open a room and take her to that room."
The room the woman referred to was above the bar.
Soon, the waiter sent Chloe to the room.
The door closed and the woman wearing a mask stood there. She looked at Chloe on the bed. The woman was none other than Veronica Parker.
Veronica asked her unwittingly, "Why did you kill the people around me? Why didn't' you just leave me alone? Could it be because the more pain I feel, the happier you will be?"
Chloe who was lying on the bed suddenly got up and wanted to throw up.
She got out of bed and fell to the ground after taking two steps. Then she began to vomit on her side and threw up on the carpet.
Meanwhile, Veronica, with her eyes full of hate, stepped forward and stepped on Chloe's chest and let her lie flat.
Chloe vomited again but the vomit flowed back into her throat. The more she vomited, the more her mouth overflowed and she got choked.
Chloe continued to make coughing sounds as she began to breathe poorly. Her body twitched slightly and her face turned red.
It only took a few minutes for Chloe to suffocate from her own vomit.
But Veronica just stared coldly at the dying form of Chloe. Her mind was in a mess. Maybe she didn't even know what she was doing.
Time slowed down in her mind. As she stepped on Chloe's legs, she felt so weak that she began to shake.
Although there was a steady stream of hatred in Veronica's heart, she would never think of committing such a crime. Moreover, she didn't want her hands to get dirty because of Chloe.
With such hatred in her heart, she stepped on Chloe's chest and put some pressure on it.
Soon, the vomit no longer blocked the respiratory tract of Chloe. She began to breathe normally and coughed some more.
As she was coughing, cold water was suddenly splashed on her face. It made Chloe wake up.
The moment Chloe sat up, she saw the cold face of Veronica. She was sitting on the edge of the bed holding a water cup in her hand.
For Chloe, what happened to her just now scared her. Just because she was drunk doesn't mean she had no fear.
"You?"
Veronica said coldly, "It's too cheap to let you die like this!"
Chloe angrily replied to Veronica, "What's the matter with you? What have I done to you? You are just like Eden Cage, you are both nothing, biting like a dog! Even if I am not your real mother, at least I have raised you! Even a dog can repay the favor better than you do!"
Veronica had seen Chloe's shameless act before, so it was no surprise that she had the ability to catch a thief like a thief.
Veronica questioned her, "Even if I were your dog, I should have a little compassion, right? But even if you don't have compassion, at least you shouldn't have killed them all, should you?"
