Goes to England
"Kimberly ... Kimberly Aurora!"
Nicholas had called and called Kimberly's name more than twice while knocking softly on her bedroom door. However, there was no answer from inside the room from all the calls. Nicholas just wanted to remind them that they had to go to the airport to leave for England in the afternoon. He wanted Kimberly to go back and check what equipment she had to bring before she left.
Believing that something was up, Nicholas tried to turn the doorknob, which was unlocked. I entered slowly and found Kimberly, who was still fast asleep. The woman covered her entire body with a blanket up to the neck. Nicholas slowly stepped forward toward the position where Kimberly was lying. His hand gently caressed her hair and gently patted her shoulder.
"Kimmy...wake up." Nicholas Kimberly ordered, slowly opening his eyes. He blinked a few times until his consciousness emerged little by little. The scent of white musk perfume that Nicholas Jack would smell made him want to take a deep breath without realizing it. "
What are you doing in my room?" asked Kimberly in the husky voice of someone who had just woken up.
"I thought something was up with you. That's why I went straight in. But in fact, you were sleeping dead." Nicholas sneered as he shook his head.
Kimberly tried to get up from her sleeping position. But when he wanted to straighten up, his head suddenly felt dizzy. The world seemed to spin until he unconsciously fell back on the bed. Seeing this, Nicholas immediately approached and tried to help correct Kimberly's sleeping position. "Kimberly, Are you all right?" asked Nicholas in a worried tone.
Kimberly took a deep breath. "I don't know. I feel like the world is going round and round. My stomach hurts now too." then Kimberly directed her hand to rub and gently massage her aching stomach.
"Gosh, your stomach ache is back again?"
Kimberly nodded. "My stomach hurts. It's even cramping now."
Nicholas, who could not bear to see Kimberly's condition, immediately left the room. The man pointed his feet towards the pantry and took warm water in a glass. He returned to the room with quick steps and asked the woman to drink immediately. As he recalled, when he had a stomachache or cold, Cassandra always told him to drink warm water to reduce the aches or pains that hit him.
Meanwhile, Kimberly just obeyed, and after drinking the water that Nicholas offered, she lay back down and tightened the blanket. The whacking dizziness has not wholly disappeared.
"If you're sick like this, we can just cancel the trip to England," Nicholas cried. He didn't want to risk Kimberly getting sick if he insisted on ongoing.
Kimberly shook her head slowly. "No, I'm sure your parents have prepared everything thoroughly. We're still going. I think the aches and pains will go away soon." offered Kimberly.
Of course, she insisted on ongoing. And didn't want to embarrass Nicholas if he suddenly called off their trip to England because he was the cause.
"Then I'll get the doctor to come and examine you immediately."
"But---"
"No buts. Do you choose to be examined by a doctor, or will I cancel our departure plan this afternoon?" Kimberly snorted in annoyance at what Nicholas said. The man is a pusher. What he ordered was like an order that could not be denied.
Knowing that Nicholas was the host where he was staying, Kimberly couldn't help but surrender to obey. While waiting for the doctor to arrive, Nicholas returned to the pantry. The man checked the supply of groceries in the refrigerator.
After paying close attention, an idea came to his mind to make Kimberly chicken soup for breakfast this morning. Putting all his might, Nicholas first put the diced chicken into the boiling water. While waiting, he started to prepare, cut and then put the vegetables into the pot. After the boiling process was complete, Nicholas began to taste the flavours. It is not the first time he has cooked.
In England, since college, he has been accustomed to living alone apart from his parents. Choosing to live in a private apartment, Nicholas is accustomed to preparing everything himself. So the business of cooking is not a difficult thing for him.
How? He can already be included in the category of an ideal husband. Just when Nicholas's soup was cooking was cooked, the doctor and the nurse who was going to examine Kimberly arrived at the apartment unit. He immediately led the medical officer to meet Kimmynia, still curled up in the blanket.
"So how's my fiancé, doc?" asked Nicholas anxiously after the doctor checked Kimberly's condition. Nicholas admitted, there was anxiety haunting him at this time.
Several times he caught the woman in pain and even fainted. Not to mention the phobia that Kimberly has can't be underestimated either. The most important revelation is that Kimberly is an orphan and alone. That's why Nicholas was determined to protect and protect his fiancé.
"I have to take your fiancé's blood sample, sir."
Unknowingly Nicholas' face grew more worried after hearing the doctor's words. "Blood samples?" he asked for sure. "What for?" he continued.
"To determine what disease your fiancee has. I will take his blood sample to the laboratory. You can receive the results in three to four days."
Nicholas nodded in agreement. "Do your best, doc. Whatever it is, please give it your best."
Then the doctor asked the accompanying nurse to start taking Kimberly's blood sample. After getting several ampoules of blood, the doctor and nurse rushed out of Nicholas' apartment unit. Meanwhile, after being examined, Kimberly herself still looks weak. The woman chose to sit leaning against the head of the bed while rubbing her stomach gently.
"Breakfast first. I've prepared food for you."
Nicholas ordered while carrying a bowl of soup that he had placed on the portable tray. He carefully placed it on Kimberly's bed. Kimberly sighed softly. From the look on her face, she seemed reluctant to eat. His appetite was gone, now replaced by the pain wracking his body.
"I'm not hungry, Nick," said Kimberly without passion.
Nicholas moved closer to his seat. A moment later, he took the spoon lying on the portable tray. Slowly began to scoop the soup into the bowl and then brought it to Kimberly's mouth.
"You should eat now and then take your medicine." with a bit of force, Nicholas shoved a spoon full of chicken and vegetables into Kimberly's mouth. Inevitably the woman welcomed and chewed it slowly.
"Smart girl," said Nicholas.
Kimberly chuckled softly. "You talk like I'm a cat that's just been fed."
Nicholas laughed at the term Kimberly had just said. He thought, how could the woman sneer at the attitude that she considered romantic.
"Why you laughing?" Kimberly asked, confused, while still chewing her food.
Nicholas shook his head. "Nothing. I think you're hilarious."
"You freak!" Kimberly replied.
After the food that I ate was gone, Nicholas ordered Kimberly to take medicine and go back to rest immediately. At the same time, he chose to check what items to bring later in the afternoon.
***
"Slowly." Nicholas gripped Kimberly's fingers tightly as if he didn't want to be separated. He gently led her through the airport to the plane that would take them to England this afternoon. After making sure Kimberly sat comfortably in her chair. Nicholas started to fasten his seat belt and didn't forget to wrap the blanket around the woman. It's always the simple treatment of Nicholas that manages to break Kimberly's heart.
Throughout the air journey, Kimberly prefers to sleep more. Even after eating dinner, it didn't take long for the woman to pull back the covers. Maybe this happened because of the influence of the drugs he was taking. While sleeping, the woman's curly eyelashes were occasionally seen moving beautifully, making Nicholas anxious to wipe them. After making sure Kimberly was asleep, Nicholas followed and rested beside her.
However, not yet a few hours when he closed his eyes, the turbulence in the plane made Kimberly wake up and reflexively hugged Nicholas' arm tightly. Realizing Kimberly was scared, Nicholas quickly embraced the woman's body. Nicholas hugged her tightly while continuing to gently stroke her arms and hair.
"I'm scared," Kimberly whispered as she woke. N
icholas tightened his arms again. "Don't worry, and I'm here. I won't let go of my arms until we get there. Now you can go back to sleep. When you get there, I'll wake you right away."
Kimberly nodded in agreement then went back to sleep. A dozen hours in the air, the plane they were travelling in finally arrived at London Heathrow Airport, England.
Looking at Kimberly, who was still asleep, Nicholas gently tried to wake her up. Look, your face is gorgeous when you are silent like this.
"Gosh, I get excited every time I see her lips."
Nicholas chuckled to himself. He quickly threw away the dirty thoughts that crossed his mind. "Don't be crazy, Nicholas. Please don't be crazy."
"Kimberly, wake up." Nicholas loosened his embrace and whispered while gently caressing Kimberly's cheek. It took him several times to call her name until she finally woke up and woke up.
"We have arrived?" Kimberly asked, rubbing her eyes. Nicholas nodded his head. "Hmm..." Nicholas cleared his throat.
"We're in England. How are you feeling? Is that better?"
Kimberly straightened her seat. He raised both hands to stretch his stiff muscles.
"Much better. But my body feels a little stiff."
Nicholas sneered. "I should be the one complaining of stiffness. Shouldn't you be the one on top of my shoulder and chest all this time?"
Kimberly raised an eyebrow. "I didn't ask you to hug me. You just wanted to take a chance, didn't you?"
"Ck! you ungrateful," Nicholas squeaked, then the man got up from his seat and grabbed Kimberly's wrist. He gripped tightly again and then led him to get off the plane.
"Whoa!" Kimberly exclaimed. The woman's lips did not stop smiling at the sight and the hustle and bustle around her.
This is the first time Kimberly has set foot in England. Before he ran away from Arthur's uncle's residence, he often travelled or vacationed abroad. But England has never been his destination. Maybe this time, he should thank Nicholas. Because of that man, he was able to fly this far.
Nicholas, who was secretly watching the look on the woman's face next to him, couldn't help but smile slightly. There was a warm feeling in his heart seeing Kimberly, who looked happy beside him. Arriving outside the airport, someone was already very Nicholas Jackal was waiting for him casually. A woman with tall stature, curly hair wearing casual clothes combined with well-known brand sneaker shoes.
"Welcome Home." said the woman while kissing the cheek and then hugged Nicholas' body tightly. Nicholas let go of Kimberly's hand, then hugged her back.
"Long time no see, honey," Nicholas replied, then loosened his grip.
Kimberly, who saw the intimate scene, was silent and looked away. Even he was feeling a little annoyed now, or maybe burning jealousy.
"So she's your future wife?" she asked in a British accent.
Nicholas nodded in approval. "Yes, she's my ugly fiance," said Nicholas as he glanced at Kimberly.
The woman then leaned forward and suddenly hugged Kimberly. "Welcome to your new home," she said, then let go of the hug. "Let me introduce my self. I'm Chelsea, Nicholas' younger brother," she said.
Oh my gosh.
I thought this woman was Nicholas' lover.
Or even the ex who used to leave him.
It turned out to be his sister.
Her sister is just this beautiful.
Kimberly exhaled slowly, then smiled faintly at Chelsea. "I'm Kimberly. Thanks for the welcome:" "You're welcome, sista." Chelsea smiled and pulled Kimberly's hand to quickly go to the car that would take them to Nicholas' residence. Flying at a moderate speed, Kimberly was again amazed by the sights that Queen Elizabeth's Country presented.
The neatly lined old buildings seemed to spoil his eyes. Not to mention the passing Jackdaraan that makes this city bustling but not dull. Noisy, but still wrapped in beauty. From behind the glass, Kimberly was so enthusiastic to see that not long after, the car they were driving arrived in the courtyard of the Hyde Park Penthouse, the most expensive apartment in the city of England.
"Are we there yet?" Kimberly asked enthusiastically.
Nicholas nodded. "We've arrived at my apartment."
Then the man opened the car door and held out his hand to Kimberly. Still filled with confusion, Kimberly still welcomed Nicholas' hand. He followed Nicholas and Chelsea's steps into the apartment building without asking much. Until they arrived on the 10th floor, they entered the apartment unit he believed belonged to the man.
"I'll take you here. I have other things to do. Remember, Sis, your show starts at 7, make sure you don't come late this afternoon."
Nicholas nodded, then kissed his sister briefly on the cheek before leaving. It can be seen in Kimberly's eyes that the man loves his little sister. Or actually, Nicholas is the type of man who is gentle and loving?
"I thought we'd stay at your parents' house?" Kimberly asked curiously. She's been trying to keep herself from asking. But his curiosity was higher.
"I want to maintain privacy. Besides, I'm afraid you won't feel comfortable living in the same house with them."
Kimberly nodded at Nicholas' excuse. There is some truth to what the man said. It must have been awkward living with Nicholas' parents. Not to mention that they were watching his every move there.
"Then where is my room? I want to rest for a bit." Kimberly asked.
Nicholas then directed Kimberly to go and enter a room not far from the balcony. A room with shades of gold seems to be deliberately designed to be occupied by a woman. But wait, is this the room that used to be in Nicholas' ex-fiancé?
"This is my room?" Kimberly asked reassuringly. Then he entered and looked around the room. Scan one by one the objects neatly arranged in the room. Kimberly's eyes caught a lot of knick-knacks and even women's equipment in there.
"If you're confused, this used to be my ex-fiance's room. That's why there are so many women's accessories and knick-knacks here." Nicholas explained as if he could read what Kimberly was thinking right now.
"Hmm, no problem. I think I want to stay here. Then where's your room? We don't sleep in the same room, do we?" Kimberly asked suddenly.
Nicholas narrowed one eye. "Whats Wrong?" Nicholas asked as he moved closer to Kimberly. "You want to sleep in the same room with me? I see?"
Kimberly gasped. She even realized that by now, her face must have turned red from embarrassment at what Nicholas had said. She was wrong to ask like that.
"You want to sleep with me?" Nicholas teased once more.
"You're crazy, Nick! Get out of my room, and I want to rest now." Kimberly expelled while pulling the man's body out. Nicholas chuckled at Kimberly's behaviour. Even now, the man is getting more eager to seduce the woman in front of him.
"Okay, but before you close the door, can't you give me a one kiss first?"
"NO WAY!" Then Kimberly immediately closed the door to her room. I was leaving a laughing Nicholas out there.
"Just watch out. Once again, I avenge what you did, Nicholas Alistair!"
