Crazy on You
Kimberly was stunned as she stared at her reflection from behind the mirror. Her mouth kept chanting the words of gratitude because God had been kind enough to give her such a beautiful face. Kimberly is not overconfident, but almost everyone admits that she has above average beauty. In the office where she works, countless men have confessed their feelings to her.
Even Keyra shook her head when her best friend received many gifts during the Valentine's Day celebration. However, out of the many men who approached, none of them caught his interest. The stupid bet he agreed with Alex made him fall in love with Nicholas. His meeting with Nicholas Alistair might be categorized as a coincidence.
However, approaching and making him a lover is one of his primary goals. Then who would have thought, today, in a few hours, her status would change to that of the man's fiancé. Don't be nervous, Kimberly. Isn't this your dream to be Nicholas Alistair's lover? You should be proud of yourself. Even if the guy's feelings aren't clear to you, it doesn't matter. After all, you can make him fall in love with you over time.
Kimberly nodded her head in the mirror. Suggesting I be ready to see the Nicholas family in a few minutes.
"Kimberly, are you ready?" Nicholas called, knocking on the bedroom door.
Kimberly straightened her dress once more and then went to open the door.
"I was ready earlier. Let's go." invite Kimberly.
However, instead of leaving, Nicholas was fixated on Kimberly's appearance this time. The woman was indeed beautiful in the black sleeveless long dress that she would wear. The high slit on the skirt managed to expose Kimberly's slender legs, which had recovered flawlessly.
For a moment, Nicholas was hypnotized until his eyes didn't even blink, admiring the appearance of the woman who would become his fiancee. He had to admit, Kimberly was so beautiful tonight.
"Don't look at me too much, Nick. I know I'm stunning."
Nicholas realized then chuckled sarcastically. "Gosh, you're so confident. You're not to my taste, Kimberly."
Kimberly narrowed her eyes. "Not to your taste, you say?"
Nicholas nodded in agreement. "You're not to my taste. I've told you many times."
Kimberly smiled sarcastically at Nicholas' words. There was a bit of annoyance in his heart.
"Not to your taste, but you're addicted to kissing me. You pervert!"
"Woah, I'm just helping you. I did that, so you don't stiffen up later." dodged Nicholas.
Kimberly snorted in annoyance. She even wanted to strangle Nicholas right now. Sometimes the man used the kiss as material to make fun of him.
"Just you wait, I'll get back to you, Nick!" threatened Kimberly and then left Nicholas, who was still standing in front of the room.
Nicholas could only laugh a moment later, following Kimberly's steps, who had already left the apartment unit.

Kimberly grabbed Nicholas by the wrist before they got out of the car. Once again, she wanted to convince himself whether this engagement had to be carried out. All this time, she only wanted to be Nicholas' lover. But who would have thought that even the engagement he got.
"Are you sure?" Kimberly asked, looking into Nicholas' face.
Nicholas took a deep breath. He was trying to control his feelings.
"This is just Kimmy's fiancé, and we don't get married right away. I already said I'd learn to like you. So you take it easy."
Kimberly sighed softly. "You talk as if liking someone is as easy as turning the palm of your hand."
"Okay, calm down. Your job is to help me learn to like you," Nicholas replied lightly.
"How can you like me if I'm just not your type. Not to mention that your parents don't know my background. I'm just an orphan---"
"You're not a criminal, right?" cut Nicholas. "Stop thinking like that. My family is not what you think. Leave it all to me, and I know what I will do in front of them."
Don't know if Nicholas should be happy or sad right now. Happy because after so long, he finally has a partner again. Sorry to be tied to a woman who has not been fully loved. The first game is designed to trick the mother, ending with saying that he should really be tied down or even marry the woman.
Nicholas laughed inwardly. His fate is being toyed with by God right now. I finished reassuring Kimberly that everything would be fine. Nicholas held his fiancée. The man stepped confidently into the residence of Alistair's extended family. Inside, all the prominent families from both his parents had gathered. Jacob and Alya also attended this event. The engagement ceremony this time could indeed be said to be very simple, considering that only family was present. This was a request from Nicholas, who didn't want to be too out to the general public.
But, for a modest measure, Cassandra is not kidding. It's quite the totality of preparing everything. Nicholas should be proud of his mother's skill.
"Welcome, dear. You've finally arrived." Cassandra welcomed enthusiastically. The middle-aged woman immediately pulled Kimberly to sit on the chair she had provided. Not long after, Nicholas followed and sat beside him.
"This is our prima donna today. Nicholas' future wife." Cassandra's words suddenly made all pairs of eyes stare at Kimberly simultaneously.
Kimberly timidly lifted her face, a little awkward. She smiled. Her eyes began to scan one by one the family members present there. After a short briefing, the event starts. Nicholas' parents greeted the families present. Then after that, it was Nicholas' turn to take over the event. Briefly recount their meeting even though the story's content is more made up.
"It was as if God destined us to meet. Who would have thought the soul mate I had been looking for was close to me. Yes, it turned out that we were in the same company. I even fell in love with Kimberly since the first time we accidentally met in the corridor of the BlackHorse building."
Jacob and Alma could only smile meaningfully as they listened to what their best friend had to say. Although he boasted a lot, his efforts to convince the whole family were commendable. "Then where's the Kimberlys? Isn't anyone or her family present at this event? Don't they approve of your relationship?" asked one of Nicholas' cousins.
Nicholas and Kimberly stared at each other. Kimberly tried to answer what she had been worried about with great courage before.
"I am an orphan and alone."
Everyone immediately looked at Kimberly's face. The woman took a deep breath, trying to put the words back together.
"My father died in a car accident when I was 6 years old. My mother died in a fire 4 years after my father died. I was also in a coma for a few weeks during that incident."
Kimberly's voice was shaking. The tears didn't even feel like they were falling down his cheeks. There was a sudden silence. All the family members present felt pity for Nicholas. The man immediately gently rubbed the clear crystal that wet the cheek of the woman beside him. He gripped her hand tightly and kissed the back of her hand briefly. "You've got me. No matter what happens, I won't leave you," said Nicholas sincerely.
He's not boasting this time. Cassandra immediately started the main event, not wanting to get lost in sadness. He gave Nicholas a jewellery box containing a pair of diamond rings prepared in advance. Nicholas and Kimberly were officially engaged after speaking their minds and exchanging rings. Kimberly can relax now. Everything he had feared before was unfounded. The Nicholas family welcomed him warmly. No one cares about his background. However, the anxiety returned. It's even more prominent now than before. He had completely forgotten that the biggest problem was not with the Nicholas family. The people he deserved to worry about were Marco and Arthur's uncle. They would take action if they found out she was engaged to another man.
So, need Kimberly to tell Nicholas the truth about who she is? Or keep their identity hidden.

Nicholas sat down on the sofa when they arrived at the apartment. Meanwhile, Kimberly has been mostly silent since her way home until now. Realizing this, Nicholas took the initiative to ask.
"Is something bothering you?" Nicholas asked, taking off the suit and tie he'd been Jacking. Kimberly shook her head slowly.
"Nothing, I'm just tired," answered Kimberly as Jacka answered.
"If you're tired, quickly change clothes, take medicine and rest. Tomorrow you have to get up early. I'll take you for a walk before heading back to Los Angeles."
"Is that true?" asked Kimberly with a gleam on her face.
Nicholas nodded. "Of course. I'll show you around. So get some rest now."
Nicholas waved his right hand, telling Kimberly to go straight to her room. Kimberly obeyed Nicholas' orders. He immediately dragged his feet into the room. But it wasn't even a few minutes before he came back out and stood next to Nicholas. Confused, Nicholas asked again,
"What else is there?" Instead of answering, Kimberly immediately turned around to stand with her back to Nicholas. Then he started to reach for the dress's zipper that was at the back, intending to lower it.
Nicholas glared frantically. "Kimmy...hey! What are you doing?" he cried as he turned his face the other way. Kimberly turned to Nicholas.
"I want to change clothes," he answered lightly. "Please help me unzip it."
Nicholas was even more surprised to hear that. "Don't be crazy, Kimmy?"
Kimberly glared disapprovingly. "What did you say? Am I crazy?"
Nicholas glared at Kimberly. "Yeah, you're crazy!"
"I'm just asking you to unzip my dress. Jack, why should I panic? Even if my body looks okay, right? I'm not your type anyway." Kimberly debate.
"Of course, I panicked. I'm a normal guy, Kimberly. How can you tell me to take off your dress? How can a cat refuse to be given fish."
Kimberly narrowed her eyes. He even deliberately sat side by side with Nicholas.
"So you're flirting with me, huh?"
"Don't be silly, Kimberly. You'll regret it if I'm tempted!" threatened Nicholas. From the tone of his voice, he seemed panicked. Kimberly laughed sarcastically.
"Oh, come on, Nick. You said you wanted to teach me how to kiss yourself. Why don't you teach me some other hot stuff? It's not much, honey. Do I need to take my clothes off now?" Kimberly prepared to lower the dress she was going to. However, Nicholas suddenly pulled back the zipper of the half-open dress.
"Stop, Kimberly! Stop what you're doing. I admit you win now." Nicholas then got up and left. He left Kimberly laughing with satisfaction at having managed to avenge the man's earlier actions.
