A heated moment in car
Dylan blared and the next second upended the table sending the expensive cutleries and delicious food to the floor. Evelyn froze in shock: he didn’t just flip the heavy and humongous mahogany table with one hand. Her gaze remained stuck to the broken pieces of crockeries and glasses before she was forcefully pulled up from the chair by her forearm.
She let out a yelp and the next second, her left cheek was grasped in a callous hand. She was forced to look into the raging black pair of eyes.
“Aren’t you taking me too lightly sweetheart?” Dylan seethed on her face while glowering into her brown hues that soon got filled with water.
“I have the power to cage you in my room and do anything with you. No one would be able to stop me if I really kidnap you and make you live under my roof under duress because technically you’re my wife and secondly, I hold the authority to seal everyone’s mouth. People wouldn’t hesitate to cooperate and if they rebel, I will pluck their hearts out.”
Evelyn was horror-struck. How casually he was talking about murdering people?
He wasn’t Dylan, the man standing in front of her was a monster.
Warm tears ran down her cheeks which Dylan wiped with his thumb before pulling her closer to his lips.
“What part of ‘I am a Mafia’ you didn’t get Eve? Are you sure you want to anger me?” He rasped.
Evelyn was shocked. Dread snaked around her spine and soon flooded through her whole being. She started wiggling to get out of his grip, “L-leave please.”
Dylan let out a growl before he cinctured her waist and flushed her figure to his toned chest with a rough jerk. Evelyn stilled when he groped her rear and give it a squeeze that successfully had her pinned on the spot. Her cheeks reddened and her hands automatically went to grab her biceps as she stared at him with teary eyes. Taking advantage of their proximity, Dylan ducked forward and pecked the corner of her lips leaving her trembling.
Pulling back, he gazed into her shock-filled eyes and heaved a deep sigh.
“You want to leave. Fine, you can go. It was never my intention to capture you in the first place.”
Evelyn frowned.
What’s wrong with this man?
Dylan on the other hand, released her before cupping her small face in his large palms. He cleaned her tears with his fingers while she stared at him aghast.
“T-Then why did you? Why did you-“ She rambled in fear, her heart was beating in her mouth.
Dylan sighed. He felt a pang in his heart watching her this scared of him that she couldn’t even string words so fighting was completely out of the box.
Evelyn whimpered when he joined their foreheads and closed his eyes.
“Because the thought of staying away from you terrifies me, sweetheart.”
She gaped in shock.
Saying that Dylan moved back before looking into her brown hues that were repleted with an endless fear, and obviously, it was directed to him.
“So don’t you ever mention that again, hmm?” He told her as if talking to a child. Evelyn didn’t have the balls to fight back.
‘He was insane so riling him up would be akin to signing her death certificate.’
Lowering her gaze, she slightly bobbed her head. Her obedience brought him a sense of gratification.
“That’s my girl,” Dylan husked, his lips twitching in a contented smile. Grabbing her hand, he again entangled their fingers and headed outside.

Evelyn kept taking secretive glances at the man who was sitting beside her with his legs wide open like a man while he was busy scrolling through his phone. She again diverted her attention to the tinted windows trying to get a glance of the scenery outside but failed for the nth time.
To hide his whereabouts, Dylan chose his SUV for the ride which had tinted windows. Once they both climbed inside, he opened the partition cutting off her view from the driver seat too so that she wouldn’t be able to know their location.
Evelyn was intuitive that his villa was definitely in the mid of nowhere. When they stepped out, she saw the huge and lush trees and bushes that had cooped up his grand villa. That’s when she concluded that either she was on the outskirts or probably in a forest.
Evelyn turned to Dylan whose gaze was concentrated on the screen of his phone, perhaps it was something very important. She could tell that by the tensed muscles on his jaw and the way his brows were furrowed as his eyes skimmed over the screen.
Licking her lips, she mustered up some courage to ask him a question that was bugging her since yesterday, “Where do-“
“Not your concern Doll.”
Her eyes widened at his curt reply. How come he knew what she was going to ask?
Dylan noticed her silence. Very slowly, he twisted his neck and faced her, “Take a nap for a while. I will wake you up when we reach.”
Her nostrils flared as she fisted the hem of her skirt. Now that was enough. She was trying so hard to be level-headed but the way he was bossing her around just because he was a gangster undid the knots of her patience.
“Stop the car.” She snarled; her chin jutted out.
“Ain’t gonna happen, Eve.” Dylan drawled out and focused his gaze back on his phone. Evelyn slammed her left fist on the door, irked by his attitude.
“Pull over Dylan. I am warning you. You wouldn’t love to witness my bad side.”
“The same goes for you too,” Dylan rasped and looked at her, “My bad side is a hundred times worse than you, kitten. So just calm your pretty ass down and sit quietly while I am being nice to you.” He threatened her in a dark tone.
But Evelyn was done. She lunged forward and grabbed his collar, “Who do you think you are huh? Just because you’re a Mafia, you think you will again reduce me into your puppet? Your fucking Genie? Well, sorry to burst your bubble gangster but that’s not gonna happen.” Seething on his face, Evelyn slid her hand to his pants and tried whipping out the gun while maintaining eye contact.
Unfortunately, nothing came into her grasp.
Creases formed on her forehead when she found his holster empty. Anxious, Evelyn looked down and started patting his pants. She was so engrossed in searching for the weapon that she failed to notice the smirk on Dylan’s face.
A yelp slipped through her lips when he effortlessly lifted her from her hip and pulled her onto his lap.
“What?... LET ME GO!!” Evelyn was taken aback but eventually burst into a fit of rage while flailing her arms. Dylan grabbed her hand and pinned them behind her making her chest arch. Her face flushed dark shades of red when his face came dangerously closer to her bosoms.
Her struggles amplified as she tried to jump to the side but Dylan snaked his hand around her waist before gliding it up to her back and pulling her closer to him.
“No,” She screamed but everything fell deaf to his ears. Tightening his hold on her waist, he yanked her closer. Her brows scrunched when she felt something hard poking her from below. She started wiggling to get away with it but her breath hitched the moment she heard him groaning.
‘What the fuck?’
Panicked, she quickly looked down only to let out a scream as she was practically sitting over his huge bulge. Raining punches over his chest, she tried getting out of his lap but Dylan tightened his hold and settled her comfortably over the spot he wanted her to sit on.
Evelyn looked at him in horror but he only flashed her a smirk while his black pools blazed vehemently with lust and desire.
“Don’t give me that look. It will only make things worse, Eve.”
He whispered near her lips making her ears go red.
