Kein’s POV
“Where are you going?” Beta Gae looked at me with his lips pressed in a line and his arms folded
“Nowhere, I’m just going for a drive, don’t worry I’ll be back soon” I said clearing my throat
“You do know that we’ll have to kill you if you jeopardise the mission right?”
“I know” I responded looking at my feet
“You can’t go over there; I know you want to see her but…”
“No, you don’t, you don’t know anything, you have no idea, I’m going crazy here”
“Calm down”
“We’ve been planning for hours, I can’t just…”
“I understand your frustration, but if you go over there you’ll be risking blowing our cover and putting the mission at risk, we need the element of surprise on our side”
“I know all that but…”
“But what?”
“I’m going crazy here, I can’t stop thinking about all the vile things that ass whole could be doing to her right now, I’m so mad at myself…dammit he took right in front of me, I couldn’t protect her, I couldn’t do anything” I growled punching the hood of my car
“In three days all the packs will have gathered, just wait until then and I promise…” I shook my head and he stopped
“Kill me if you want, but I can’t wait three days” he sighed shaking his head as he watched me get in the car and speed away
Alicia’s POV
“Now let’s get that revolting scent off you” He took my hand and led me to the shower, I turned away from him and faced the shower wall, he stood behind me and leaned over and opened the tap
“Aaahhh” I screamed and jumped back fleeing the cold water, my back crashed into his chest, his arms quickly wrapped around me, and his woody scent filled me making me melt in his arms
“mmm” he moaned, his deep voice sending chills down my spine making me shiver in his hold
“Stop moving or be prepared to deal with the consequences” he growled, the vibration of his chest on my back made me squirm
“I warned you” he whispered softly in my ear, my body tensed up at the feel of his warm breath on my neck, he growled, and I felt his member digging into my butt, I jumped forward into the warmth of the water
My heart was racing, and my breath was quick, 'his dominating aura is overwhelming, he is irresistible, he is driving me crazy'
I felt the smooth feel of the sponge on my back ‘oh god please help me’ he slowly moved the sponge up and down on my back, I inched away from him trying to get some relief
“Don’t move” he whispered pulling me back to him by my waist, his front pressed against my back, he brought the sponge to my chest, rounding the shape of my breast, sparks exploded inside me as he held me close to him, I wanted to lean my head back and run my hands through his thick golden-brown hair, I wanted to feel his hands on me, all over me. The warmth of his body in the water sent a tingling down my spine making my eyes roll back with pleasure as the sponge teased my delicate skin
He slowly moved back, retreating his hand, the absence of his skin on me finally releasing me from his spell. I used the wall in front of me for support, I took a deep breath reminding my body that breathing is important
I let out a sigh of relief ‘good, it wasn’t easy, but you did it, you resisted him, I don’t know how you did it but it’s over, at least for now’
I turned around ready to get out of the shower and my eyes locked with his, why is he still here? I thought he had left.
He seductively licked his lips, his eyes trailed down following the bubbles as they slowly went down my body the water washing them away
He crouched down and started at my ankle he slowly moved the sponge up the side of my leg, the sponge went up to the side of my thigh and around to my butt, he switched the sponge from one hand to the other behind my back, bringing me closer to him in the process, at this I leaned into him giving him full reign over my body.
We were standing cheek to cheek and oh man he smells good, and his skin is smooth, his masculine body is so hot, I felt his smile on my cheek, but I could tell that he was having trouble restraining himself as well
His breath was slow and deep, and his member was throbbing against my thigh begging for release, he squeezed my ass holding me tight against him the sensation of his body pressed against mine sent me on a lustful haze making me wrap my arms around his waist pulling him to me, holding him even tighter
He growled and with one swift motion he rammed me against the wall, his eyes were dark and full of desire, his primal nature now taking over and with intense force he invaded my mouth making me moan, my hands roamed his hair pulling and tugging as I sucked on his lips hard
He grabbed my legs lifting me up making me straddle him between my legs as he pressed me harder against the wall, he positioned himself at my opening and I bit his mouth in anticipation
“Fuck” he hissed preparing to enter
“Ali?!” my wolf growled imitating Kein’s voice in my ear, 'what am I doing, what the hell am I doing?'
“No, stop, stop, stop!” I screeched wiggling and twisting trying to get out of his hold, he put my feet down and growled in frustration punching the wall
“I can’t do this, please let me go” I crouched down letting the water hit my skin as I sobbed uncontrollably, did I wait so long for my mate only to toss him aside like this?, he must be worried sick and look at me, what I’m doing, how the hell did I let it get this far?, a few seconds more and… oh my god… I don’t even want to think about it
“Fine” he barked, my head was buried in my knees as I crouched there in child’s pose, and I heard his footsteps as he exited the shower and then the bathroom door opened and closed
I stood up and joy overtook me “he is really going to let me go, oh my god I’m free, I’m finally free” I hopped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself, I took another and dried my hair with it, I wished I had other clothes to change into, but no matter, I will be home soon.
“Alicia come here”
I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s because the door is closed, or the feeling that I’m free and will be home soon, honestly I’m not sure what, but somehow I have the strength to resist him
“Still busy” I shouted back, feeling very proud of myself
“Don’t make me come in there, I might not stop this time”
His tone revealed the seriousness of his words and I jumped and quickly opened the door, he was standing at the foot of the bed with nothing but sweats on, I swallowed as my eyes roamed his chiselled chest and ripped stomach
“Here” with a smug look on his face he handed me a small red box beautifully decorated with blue lilies
“What is this?”
“Open it and you’ll see” the smile on his face told me that he was very happy with whatever was inside
I opened it and took out the small scroll with golden handles that was inside, I put down the box and unwrapped the scroll
"What?" I gasped and tears started welling up in my eyes, an immense pain gripped my heart and I found it hard to breathe
“What is this?” I asked in disbelief, reading it again hoping that I’d read it wrong the first time
“Exactly what it says” I could tell he was very pleased with himself and the smirk on his face showed it
“I don’t understand”
“It’s simple really, your so-called mate has invited us to join him in celebrating his fourth wedding anniversary” the more his smile widened the deeper my despair became
“Where did you get this…when?” the tears escaped and they were now running down my face, I couldn't hold them back any longer
“Titus just gave it to me, apparently it had just been delivered”
“Titus?”
“My bodyguard” he pointed to the door, and I remembered the enormous guy I ran into earlier “he also gave me this” he rolled a purple suitcase towards me
“What’s this?”
“Your clothes of course” he smirked
“But…”
“No need to thank me, I just got one of my people to pack your clothes and bring them here from your place”
“But you said I was free to go” he gave me a confused look in return, my ears were ringing, it seemed that nothing made sense anymore, my world, everything I thought was true...it was all a lie and the worst part is that I believed it, all of it.
“I was merely giving you space as you requested” he moved towards me and grabbed me by the neck and squeezed his grip was not life threatening but it was tight enough to turn me on, I pressed my legs together hoping to subdue my hunger
He sniffed the air and smiled leaning in, his grip tightened making me wet and I crossed my legs, he let out a chuckle and brushed his lips against mine
“You’re mine, I'm going to enjoy making you moan”
“Knock, knock, knock room service”
“Oh, thank god” I breathed as he let go
“Hold that thought” he turned and walked out of the bedroom closing the door behind him, I quickly opened the suitcase and found my pyjamas and put them on as quickly as I could, I took the gown that was hanging behind the door and put it on and walked out into the living room
“Oh no” I gasped, Alexander was standing in the middle of the living room facing the door, his overwhelming sandalwood scent filled the air mixed with another scent
“I know that scent” this scent was different, it was warm and welcoming, it smelled like home, it called to me, it has the freshness of morning dew with a hint of spicy cloves dancing around it,
“No, no, no, please don’t let it be who I think it is” I followed Alexander’s gaze and standing at the door disguised as one of the hotel staff was Kein
They stared at each other, neither of them flinching, both of them growling softly ready to attack the other
My heart started pounding as I remembered what happened the last time, I remembered Kein held down on his knees about to take his last breath, I don’t want him to die, dammit what the hell is he doing here?
“Kein what are you doing here?” I growled jumping in front of Alex
