Volume 3: Lara and Alex
Volume 3
Chapter 74.
Lara and Alex
Limesville 1
They say; "when you change your environment, your routine and priorities change drastically too."
This held true for Lara.
Before arriving in Limesville, her life revolved around the same fine line, with nothing actually evolving until Alex showed up.
It was always the same thing every day, going to work, coming home tired and resting, and doing chores during weekends. There was no room for fun, no breaks, no relaxation time, no idling about, no outings__ except work or office outings, and absolutely zero drama
Her only circle of individuals were her colleagues. But now, in Limesville, she'd wake up to breakfast in bed, probably when the sun is already up.
She had little or nothing to do around the house, except chat with Alex's Mom and entertain her old friends.
Alex's mom was a simple but savage woman, and somehow, they both got along pretty well from the first day… well, she had to, given the fact that Alex was scarce lately as if he were just an old fading coin.
He'll leave for work pretty early and come back late. Unlike at the start of their relationship when they would frequently have sex. Here, he had fucked her just twice in three weeks, it was just basic shower fucking.
But today was a special day because he promised to come home early.
"Hey Lara, come give me a hand here!" Alex's mother Giselle, called with a heavy French accent.
"Sure." Lara, who was folding the freshly laundered clothes, neatly placed them on the bed and headed over to help Gisele with her chain.
Despite the availability of servants to assist in everything, she still preferred handling her bedroom chores by herself__ she and Alex's bedroom. She just couldn't sit and idle all day.
"You know, it would have really been more fun having you accompany us," Giselle said as Lara stood behind her in front of the huge vintage mirror.
"I still need to work on my French Ma," Lara replied politely as she helped brush Gisele's hair out. "Plus Alex said, he'll be home for dinner."
"You really miss him, yeah?"
Lara only stretched one side of her lip, forming a light but sad affirmative smile. Gisele could clearly see Lara's reflection in the mirror.
"Does he even come home at all?" Gisele asked.
"Most days, just that he comes pretty late at night." Lara said.
"That's the problem with hard-working men." She chuckled.
"My son really loves you, you know? He has never brought any girl to a sleepover." Gisèle added.
"Probably because I'm from a different town." Lara jokes.
"Oh, trust me, Cherie, he rent a hotel for you if he don't like you. It would mean nothing to him." Gisele said in broken English.
Lara smiled and gently dropped the brush on the table.
"He is a fine man, better than his father." Gisele placed her hand on Lara's and whispered before withdrawing her hand back.
Both women stood there for a few minutes, weighing in each other's words until the opening of the door interrupted them.
"Shall we?" Alex's father, Mr André Beau, asked as he stepped into the room.
Lara quickly straightened herself as monsieur André walked in.
"Good day Monsieur." She greeted with her head held low.
He just nodded, while checking her out as usual, even though she had just plain jeans and a casual white t-shirt on.
"Tu es très belle." ( you are very beautiful). Lara whispered to Gisele before stepping out of the room, causing Gisele to smile brightly behind her.
She had picked up a few lines in French, especially that because Alex would whisper it in her ear almost every moment they were together.
Gisèle and André had a charity event to attend. It meant that she had the whole house to herself until Alex came home. That'll mean enough time to prepare a sophisticated dinner for him too.
The only Beau member that she wasn't comfortable being with was Monsieur Beau himself. He always stared at her as if he were a predator and she was thirsty prey in his den.
Aside from that, there was something off about him that she couldn't quite put her finger on, or maybe it was just in her head.
As for Alex's sisters, they were both in boarding schools, so she had not yet gotten to meet them.
She watched through the window as the couple took off. Truth be told, Alex's parents were damn beautiful and handsome, but anytime she stared deep into Gisele's eyes, she could see more regret than love or happiness.
On the surface, they looked like the ideal couple, despite them not getting into fights at home, but the fire was not there.
She took her time, with the help of the chef, to make different luxurious french dishes for Alex.
She'd check the time every now and then, as she anxiously waited for Alex.
And finally, the long anticipated moment arrived. She heard his car pull up in the driveway.
She hurriedly finished setting up the table just in time as he walked in.
"Tell me all this is just for me?" He asked with a bright smile.
"Nope, it's for my boyfriend." She placed the last dish on the table and stood upright, returning his smile.
He came close to her and engulfed her in a warm tight hug.
"Where's everyone?" He asked. Without giving her room to reply, he leaned down and captured her warm soft lips in his mouth. He sucked her lips gently, but hungrily.
She opened her mouth and let his tongue explore her mouth to his satisfaction. She wrapped her hands around his waist and pulled him closer, deepening the kiss.
They both missed each other, the kisses, the warm hugs, the cuddles… all of it had been so scarce lately. Not forgetting the fact that Alex wasn't just busy only with the company, but he still had the Claire-Mike affair to resolve. He told her about a week ago that Mike had gotten out of jail on bail, so Alex needed to fasten his belt in order to pull Mike down completely.
Nevertheless, this was their moment, probably the most hours he had to offer to her since they arrived here, he wanted to make the most of it.
He had her face cupped up perfectly in his big palms as he ravaged every inch of her lip, living no part unattended to.
Despite her drowning deeply in their warm erotic kiss, she still managed to push him away when she felt another presence in the room.
