She shut her eyes, and her heart stopped
The sound kept changing, from what they could all hear. Then there was yet another sound, this sound was different from the other sound of birds and trees, it was the sound of a phone, They were all distracted by the sound, even the owner of the phone, looked like he didn't know it was his phone, it was Snake's phone.
Steven glared at him disgustedly, and in a whisper tone, Steven scolded him for leaving his phone on to ring,
"Don't you know your phone should be on silent?
He wanted to yell at him, but because of where they are, his statement could only come out as a whisper.
He was so angry about why he should keep his phone on, he expected him to be smarter and to know better.
He was on a mission, he shouldn't be expecting his phone to ring, he wasn't even suppose to come to such a place with a phone, Incase, they want to track him down or something.
They could even be running, and then, the phone will fall off, they could crack the phone, and get all the information in the phone.
He scolded him further, that even though the family was asleep, the security were fully awake, they were happy that he didn't have neighbours because the entire Estate belonged to him, his house could pass for a street, a really long street.
They really did spend money building such a house.
If not for the security he has, if something was happening, no matter how much they shout, their voice, will only echo round the area.
He was still busy scolding him, almost forgetting that they just invaded a house, with high tech security, before something moved, and they looked towards where the movement took place, but it was some Lizard.
Steven hissed, looked away, and is about to continue talking, when a voice was heard in the dark, he looked around but saw no one, but he couldn't just think that because he didn't see anyone, meant that no one was there, he placed his hand on his lips to hush snake from talking, so that he could pay attention, and that was when he knew they had company, someone else was in the house.
Snake and Steve thought it could be the chef, or some domestic staff, that isn't sleeping at that time, but they couldn't just think at that time, they needed to be sure, so they kept paying attention to every tiny detail on the step, taken.
Mr Desmond had quietly left his library to the garden where he built a dog house, his dogs were also trained not to make noise, they were not used to barking unnecessarily, they never have visitors and their house was built where no one could see, so it was quite difficult to know there was a dog or dogs in the house.
When the dogs saw their master tip toeing towards their cage, they knew something was up, they were happy because of the action that was about to take place, the moment the cage was open, they licked their master's feet and started barking.
They were only barking in happiness, for they don't always get such a chance all the time, they were also alerting the other guards, and soon enough, they could hear familiar steps.
Steven and Snake knew they were doomed, they never thought that after all the guards there would still be dogs, Steven looked over his shoulder to see Snake shiver for the first time, his eyes were red with anger, he had warned him not to do this, he had told him they needed more plan, but he had been desperate. Steven knew he couldn't just loose out on his mission, he knew he could die, but he wasn't going to leave without taking something with him, there was no way he would die without killing Tracy, as the dog barks drew nearer, he grabbed his dagger and stabbed the sleeping Tracy, she wasn't even awake to fight for her life, but the stab was so intense that her eyes opened, the pain that emanated from them was obvious.
She stretch out her hands, as if she is about to hold him.
Her throat went dry all of a sudden, she lost her voice, and the colors of her eyes.
She couldn't tell, if she was dreaming, as that have been her everyday dream, she was hoping that she was in some kind of nightmare, but then, the pain she was feeling, couldn't be that of a dream, she couldn't even pinch herself, to be sure, if she was dreaming or not, then she opened her eyes even wider, she saw him, but she was too weak to even react, soon, the pain she was feeling started subsiding, she didn't feel so much pain, she looked around, but no one was in the room except Steven, he smiled at her. She could hear her dogs barking, she knew help was close, but she couldn't wait to get it, she couldn't wait to be helped, she tried so hard to stay awake but that was the most difficult thing she had done. Seeing her struggle so much, he worried she might survive again, he couldn't take that chance, he knows that if she survives, she wouldn't be in the country, her father would ensure she get the best treatment, and that would be a big blow, even in his death, he would hate himself, so just like before he stabbed her again, her blood splash on his face, he didn't bother wiping them off, he smiles, as he watch her react. this time she let out a painful cry, and without trying to fight it, she looked at her murderer and she let out a tear, she swallowed hard, nodded her head, as if agreeing to something, soon her vision became blurred, no matter how much she tries to keep herself awake, her body was too weak to even try. Gradually, she could only feel darkness around her, she knew she was going away, she didn't know how she got there, she was a waste, she risked everything for nothing. She shut her eyes and her heart stopped.
She died.
