The escape

Snake saw what happened, he watched how relaxed Steven was, he was even smiling, showing no form of survival, he seem ready to go with the lady he just killed, without even thinking of him.

That was his decision, that was his own life, he should have at least considered him, but he was ready to give up his life, he was ready to die, because his need have been fulfilled, killing Tracy, to Steven, was a priority, and now that he had done that, every other thing meant nothing to him, but he couldn't just stand by him and let the dogs that were now at the door eat him up. They were hitting the door and soon the door would come off.

Mr Desmond saw the difficulty the dogs were having, scaring the thieves to opening the door, and as soon as he could hear his daughter's voice, he knew he had to do something, so he grabbed a master key, which he forgot he had, and opened the door, but before then, snake jumped through the window, he didn't land on the floor, he hung on to the iron handle, and made his way down gradually. He heard sounds, as he looked down he saw some men, they must be the vigilante group, the security at the gate were also walking into the house.

He shook his head for Steven, as he could already see that he didn't come down with him, he is going to die, just because he wanted to take revenge, but that was enough thinking about someone, he should think of himself.

Snake, with consistency, finally made his way down, since they all seemed to be taking the same entrance, they didn't split, but he noticed two guards were still down. As he descended, he landed quietly behind them, the guards rushed to the house when they heard the voice of their master. Snake guessed he must have seen his daughter by now, she was in a pool of blood when he left, now the pool must have turned to a River, he wondered what Steven was doing at the time, with those dogs he was sure Steven wouldn't even eacape.

"Tracy! !!!!!

He heard the man's pained voice, and he could feel his pain too.

No one would love to see his child in such a state, even when Steven had stabbed her the first time, he had felt like he should stop, even though he knew, she deserved it, with all the bad things she had done, but still, he had to stab her again, maybe just to make sure that she doesn't survive, even if she had by chance, survived it, she would have been disfigured all her life, or maybe confined to a wheel chair or something, it is probably best, she dies.

With the guards all gone, snake was given enough time to think of his escape, then he looked and saw that he had landed close to the guards Chambers, he opened the door and could see different uniforms, he quickly grabbed one and changed, he wore the cap and walked away, he came across some guards whom he quickly told to hurry that buglers were at the house and he had been sent to fetch some herbs from the rise garden as the princess of the house was going to die, they told him to run instead of walking.

He couldn't believe his luck, and the guards didn't seem to finish, they kept coming in batches, and his fears, even as he run, increased. He continued running, but his journey was endless, the Estate was just too big for one person, how could a person live in a place like this when there were too many homeless people?

He looked back and saw no one coming after him, he knew getting to the gate was going to be a long journey for him, he decided to try the fence but there was electric wire on them, he decided to continue walking towards the main gate, he knew it wouldn't be easy for him, but he was going to fight, he was going to try.

He was running like he had never done before, while running, he thought of all the bad things he had done, he started to feel, he should stop doing bad things, just thinking of what could be going on with Steven, he knew, his would be worse.

He regretted going with Steven, what a journey of doom, they weren't even prepared, yet they came for a war, it was as though they came for a war with a kitchen knife, compared to what the guards hard on. He finally came close to the gate and could still find guards there, he rushed to them and fell on his knees.

"What are you still doing here?

He said panting, the guards knew they hadn't seen his face before but they couldn't even suspect him because he was on the guards uniform and he had walked up to them without fear, but what they couldn't understand was why he had ran from the house to the gate, the journey from the house to the gate was more than 30kilometre.

"The house is filled with thieves and assassins, even the princess is dead, the guards couldn't do anything, the gadgets we have on is not enough, they have our phones, I managed to escape, our leader said I should find help"

The guards looked at each other, he was talking about their leader sending him when he was wearing the leaders uniform. It was written there as the head of inner security.

"But how come you are wearing the leader's uniform?

Snake realised he was done for, he couldn't lie anymore, and he just ran out of what to say, so he had to fight.

That is the way he had always loved, that is the way he was trained, that is what he signed for, he grabbed the guard closest to him in a swift, shot the other, knocked the other down, and finally, he killed them both and finally his escape was guaranteed.

Snake finally escaped, because the moment he was out of the gate he knew his escape was sure.
