Evil thought
Dave was still very worried about Amanda, for he doesn't know how things turned out, because he left.
The need to have her back in his life was so serious, that he started to nurse evil in his heart.
He thought of things to do, to make him appear as a hero in her eye, thinking that would bring her back to him.
Josh is the only friend he could express his true feelings too, and he is the one, he is waiting for at the bar, in his living room.
That is one place he could think and drink Himself to stupor.
Drinking has been the order of the day, since he lost his sister, his wife and innocent child, and apparently, Amanda.
He had sent Josh, to go to the hospital, so as to tell him whatever the outcome is.
While thinking of the best plan to get Amanda back, he thought of so many terrible things.
"If she gives birth, I could kidnap the child, and then, find a way to help her get the baby back, and then she will surely see me as a hero".
He applauded himself for coming up with the perfect plan, but almost immediately, he nodded his head.
That is a terrible idea!
He cautioned himself.
What if the baby dies, or I hurt Amanda more unknowingly.
What if I kidnap her? she can learn to love me with time;
He says to himself again, and once again, he shook his head against it.
Amanda is head strong, she may never get to love him again.
He was still lost in his thought when he was distracted by the vibration on his left pocket.
He looked around, as if forgetting that he is the one with the phone, but he was actually confused about where the sound was coming from.
When he got himself, he grabbed the phone with the highest speed he could possibly come up with.
It was Josh, he is calling to give him the information he seeks, and for that time, any information that has to do with Amanda was all he wanted to hear about.
When he heard that she have put to bed already, he was very happy.
At least she is safe, the way she was taken to the other room had scared him at first.
"Josh I need to see you, please come we need to see".
"I am almost at your house".
He told him, and that seem like a relief for Dave.
He is thinking of what he needs to tell him, and how he will put what he has in mind.
it wasn't long after, that Josh rushed into the house.
He seem to be in such a big hurry that Dave got up from his seat almost immediately.
"Why did you badge in that way?
He asked him, as he also got up from his seat to meet him half way.
Josh laughed and found himself a seat close to the door.
"Why are you so scared, I actually wanted to scare you, and it worked".
He kept laughing, that Dave could only hiss while going back to his drink.
Well, she has given birth to a baby girl, and I think something else happened, for Goodluck left the ward in anger.
When Dave heard what he just said, he clapped his hands in Joy and sat up on the seat.
"What do you think happened?
He asked him.
"I don't know what conspired between them, but I guess it has something to do with you and your family.
Though if you ask me, I would suggest that you allow that girl.
You have told her the truth about the mystery, now just let her be, allow her to be with the man that seem to be making her really happy these times".
Dave was enraged, just hearing him speak.
He got up, not missing the contact he was having with his eyes.
The dark circle in his eyes, is enough to explain to Josh that he shouldn't try to advise him about leaving Amanda.
"What are you saying?
Was all Dave could ask, even though he would have loved to show just how angry he is with him, with what he just said, but as it is, Josh is the only friend he has, so he wouldn't want him to get angry with him and maybe walk out on him.
"Look Dave, I know you want Amanda back, but you know that I always tell you only what will be beneficial to you.
This girl is in love with Goodluck, she has always been, what she is feeling for you right now is pity, for how things ended with the both of you.
now, she might feel gratitude towards the information you gave her at least she knows that she is not mad, she is not spiritually made to get pregnant, she knows she just needs to live with the fact that she has a bastard as a child, and wether to love the child or not, is her choice, but for now, you just have to allow her make her own choice, don't force it, so you don't loose the chance of being her friend too".
"Josh I appreciate all you have done so far, if you are not going to help me to get her, then you can just leave me to do it myself, but if you think I am going to give up on wanting her, then you are joking.
I love her Josh, you know I do, I have always loved her, so why do you think I will give up now that I can have her back, and if she is having issues with Goodluck, then there is a chance for me".
"People who love each other always have to quarrel about one thing or the other, it is normal".
Josh argued further, but Dave keeps raising his voice gradually, to show that he isn't loving the area of the discussion.
"I have told you what I want Josh, if you are going to help me, then you help me, but if you won't,you can leave, I can do the rest from here myself".
What he said, deeply hurt Josh, he got up immediately and left.
Dave was left alone with his thought again.
It was the first time, for Josh to refuse to help him, that alone was supposed to tell him that he is supposed to give up on his quest, but he only thought of calling people he shouldn't call for help.
He remembered that Elena have met him before wanting to find out about Amanda, but he had been too angry, that he didn't respond well to her, but for now, he was going to attend to her.
He left the bar, and races to the loving room to search for the card.
He searched frantically where the card she gave him is, and when he opened his last drawer and found it, he sighed heavily, with relief. reminiscing on how he got the card from her, and had to keep it in his drawer.
