Who is Linda?

He closed his eyes, and the event of that day, came to play in his head.

It was more like he could see her walk into his room.

"Hello, my name is Elena, I know you are Dave and you are married to Amanda".

Dave looked at her angrily.

At that time, he really hates hearing her name.

The name alone have brought so much pain to him.

"What is this?

Did she send you here?

Dave remembered that the way he spoke to the Lady that walked into his office, had been a bit embarrassing, but she seem to have come prepared, but what she didn't know was that he was no longer with her.

"Well, I just thought you should know that she is fucking my boss, and I don't want to hurt her.

So tell her to stay away from my boss".

At that instant, Dave didn't seem to care, but he just wanted to know more about the Lady, so he played along with her.

"Are you so angry that she is fucking your boss, or because your boss also, have stopped fucking you".

Elena was so angry, but she faked a smile, then she cleared her throat, trying to come up with the best line of lies to give him.

"Anyways, I will tell you the truth, I have been I love with Goodluck since I started working with him, and he loves me too, but just from nowhere, that Amanda of a girl showed up and changed everything for me.

He was going to marry me you know?

When Dave heard that, he hissed.

Angry that anyone should find Goodluck so attractive that they are willing to fight for him.

Then he remembered also, that he got such attention from Tracy.

She was willing to do anything to get him back and she did, so he too wil do just anything to get Amanda back.

"Well I know about her bad ways, she used to be my wife, but finding out that she got pregnant for an unknown person, I asked her to leave".

Elena was kind of angry with what she heard, she asked.

" Are you saying that, you don't want her back?

"Yes I don't want her back, I am going to get back with my ex".

The way he had said the last word, showed that he was angry and doesn't really mean what he said, so she smiles and brought her card out from her bag and said.

"Well, here is my card, if you want to get even for what she and my boss did to you, I am only a call away".

With that, she walked away.

Dave held the card, and could not think straight through out that day, until he got home, he only could sleep, when he placed the card in his drawer.

Now he has brought the card out, he is ready to take the next step of getting even.

He brought his phone out and dialed her number, at first, she didn't take the call, he decided not to call back, maybe he should look for another way to get her, but just when he was thinking of way to get Amanda, his phone rang and it was the number he called a few minutes ago.

"Hello!

Her voice was mild and questioning, that Dave started introducing himself to her immediately.

"It's Dave Brown, you came to my office the other day, to tell me about my ex wife".

"I know you".

She cut in on him and then she added.

Which of your ex wives are you talking about, because from what I have gathered, is that you have two exs now".

She seem to be mocking him and he got the message, but he didn't want to get angry, he just nodded his head, a d spoke softly.

"Let's see!

Elena laughed hysterically, then she spoke.

"Are you ready to get even now?

Don't you think it is too late, for she have just given birth, and the love Goodluck have for her, must have increased by now?

"This is the best time to strike.

I want my wife back and I am willing to do just anything to get her back, but you can forget it, if you are not ready to get back your man".

Elena didn't know what to say at that time, and only silence elude them for what seem like forever, then she almost whispered her question

" where do we meet?

He heard her question and smiles to himself.

Though he doesn't know what they should do yet, he is just happy that he isn't alone in the plan anymore.

After he ended the call with her, he received another call from Josh.

At first, he wasn't sure if he should take the call or not, but after much contemplation, he took it.

"Are you calling to tell me to leave Amanda? because if you are, then you had better forget it, because I won't".

He immediately took the defensive tone.

In as much as Josh would have loved to actually tell him to leave Amanda he decides to act like he is with him on the issue, so as to know just what he plans to do.

"Well I just ran into Linda".

Josh spoke dejectedly, while Dave looked confused.

He knows no one personal to him by that name Linda, so he is surprised as to how he freely said he just ran into her, like he is supposed to know her.

"Who is Linda?

He finally asked, since Josh didn't seem ready to clear the air for him.

"She is Goodluck's ex and we got talking, she says she is willing to get Goodluck back if she can get some help.

She also claims she knows just how to get Goodluck back.

I am guessing she wants to seduce him, then give Amanda the evidence, that way, she will be angry, and that could be your chance".

Dave started clapping again.

He was so happy that the plan seem very achievable to him.

"Why didn't I think of this earlier?

he asked out loud, almost screaming, as he continues to clap.

"Well I guess we should meet with this Linda so as to know what's up.

He spoke calmly, but Josh just ended the call.

He isn't helping because he loves helping, he is just helping, because he just wants Dave to be happy, and if getting Amanda back, will make him happy, then he is ready to help him.

Dave also knows it, so when he realized he had disconnected the call, he wasn't too surprised, he just relaxed his back and continues to smile.
