CHAPTER 104
I waited a few more minutes before Levi arrived.
“Let’s go?” He asked me and immediately held my hand.
I got up from my seat and hugged him.
"Clingy, huh?" He was teasing me so I pinched his side.
"I missed you," I whispered to him and tightened my hug.
I close my eyes when I smell his perfume that is so good for me. His chest is so wide that I can sleep here forever. It’s so comfortable and calming. I will never get bored of it.
"We haven't been away to each other for a long time, Miss Ma'am," he mockingly said to me.
I was blown away by what he said. I still wouldn't let go of my hug with him even though I felt like he wanted to get away. Finally, he wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed me on the head.
“Thank you for being my Levi. I love you so damn much,” I said to him and tighten my hug on him.
Levi just laughed before kissing me on the head again.
“I changed my mind. I will be liking your hormones more from now on,” he teased and we laughed at the same time.
Aunt Criselda prepared something for us for dinner so we went straight to the mansion. Ria was still there when I left her for a while to go out. When we arrived at the mansion, we were all exposed so my heart almost jumped with ecstasy. Especially when I see Avery and her big belly. Even without my bump, I feel excited even though this is the second time I've been pregnant.
"Seafoods are your favorite, right?" Levi asked me.
I repeatedly nodded at him and looked at my daughter. When I saw that it was delicious in what she was eating, I turned to the food in front of me.
We started eating. Only seafoods were served so I was very happy because it was my favorite, especially the shrimp but my stomach didn't agree to what I've said when I suddenly feel like vomiting.
"Lumiere, are you okay?" Levi asked me confusedly when I fainted.
I immediately covered my mouth and took him to the bathroom. When I finished, we immediately went back to the dining area.
“I’m so sorry, Auntie. Seafoods are my favorites but it's just that— ”
"It's okay, Rae. I understand. I was like that when I was pregnant with Levi. I disliked all my favorite foods. I'll just get you another dish,” she politely said so I just nodded.
“How many months has our grandchild been there in your womb, Rae?” Uncle Saldy asked me.
I could still feel my stomach growl and Levi's hand rising and falling behind me.
"It's only three months."
"Have you checked up yet?" He asked again.
“We went to the OB, Dad. Her OB said she's fine. The child has a strong grip so there is nothing to worry about,” Levi replied for me.
When the dish that Auntie had brought arrived, we started eating again.
“When is your wedding? I’m excited to see you Rae in a long gown,” Avery told me with a smile.
“We’re planning to get married next week. That will continue,” Levi answered.
My eyes rolled because of what he said.
I thought it would be just next year? Why is it so fickle?
"Why does it seem to be fast?" None of my own question to him.
I heard everyone laughing again so I laughed too.
“Don’t you want it, Rae? You can’t say no to Levi because as far as I know, that man ‘is mad’ to marry you right away. Especially since you already have baby number two,” Celine teased me.
I immediately felt the heat all over my face because of what Celne said especially when everyone was already laughing.
“Who wouldn’t be, right? Obviously, ‘isn’t it? There is more to come,” Levi said so I felt even more embarrassed.
He actually rode more.
-
"What's our baby's name?" He asked me while looking at the screen.
I am currently having an ultrasound to check on our baby. When Levi and I heard the baby’s heartbeat, I almost cried especially the latter because it was the first time he could hear the baby’s heartbeat. He didn't do that to Asteria before so I understand his reaction.
Our baby's heartbeat is music to our ears especially when it speeds up suddenly. It is true. I have a roommate again living every day now. I'm not even dreaming.
I smiled then looked at him.
"Boy or girl?" He asked further.
“I want a baby boy and his name will be Aster Lincoln Laxamana-Acuzar,” I uttered to him then I kissed him gently.
To my second born, mommy and daddy can't wait to see you! We are all excited for your arrival, especially your dad. He didn't get a chance to see Asteria when I gave birth to her. I didn't give him a chance to be a father during those times. Today, he was so excited when he heard your heartbeat, which he didn't experience before. We are so happy.
I know you will fill our home with more love and adventure than we dreamed possible. You will make our family more complete. I know you are what we had been missing before we even knew it.
Before you and your sister came, I dislike life. Living becomes hard for me especially when your grandmother and uncle died. But we made you. Your dad and I made you and Asteria. I can't wait to see your first smile, and your first laugh that will surely a bliss. I can't wait to touch your tiny body that will surely fit perfectly into my arms. I can't wait to continue my life with you.
To my second born, my love for you is second to none. You proved me wrong in all the right ways.
