CHAPTER 49

Eventually, I went to Acuzar Empire because I had no choice because this is my project. When I got there, Rafa and Yerim, and I were both in a hurry so we just laughed when we saw each other.

"Did Miss Rochelle call you, too? We almost forgot," Yerim uttered.

I just nodded and leaned against the elevator wall. I rolled my eyes.

"It wasn't Miss Rochelle who called," I lazily replied to her.

The two of them just looked at me so I stared at them. I almost arranged my bag and was left empty-handed again. Damn it!

"Did you give my number to that guy?" I asked them.

They both avoided looking at me and whispered something so I slapped them both on the arm.

"What? He demanded. For business purposes only..."

"And you believed that idiot. I can't be with you two," I replied to Rafa who was just laughing.

"Why are you so annoyed? What did he tell you?" Yerim asked which made me look away from her.

I felt heat all over my face again when I remembered what he told me earlier. What punishment is he saying? As if I'm going to agree to what to do... fuck it! Why am I curious about what kind of punishment that is? Damn it, Rae.

I didn't answer them because the elevator had already opened. I was supposed to follow the two to the conference room but Kat suddenly called me so I led the two of them.

"Sir Levi called you at his office first. He's still there, waiting for you," she said to me then meaningfully looked at me and sneered.

I would have asked why but she pushed me towards her boss's office so I couldn't complain. I even saw Jaxon in my peripheral vision. He was staring at me intently as if he wanted to approach me but he couldn't. We haven't been able to talk since I asked him about that because I haven't waited for his answer. I'm not mad or what. I just frowned and even I glanced at myself for a moment. I couldn't get along properly before because I took care of Ria when she woke up. I just wore a bodycon black dress with satin fabric. My back is obvious in this dress so I just covered it with a black coat as well. I just put on my three inches heels and let my hair fall out. I didn't even put on makeup too much because I was in a hurry. What beautiful thing does he say?

Before I could answer, he suddenly stood up and quickly approached me. It's the same way but the color of his polo is different, it's navy blue I don't know if that color is more suitable for him. If in white he looks kind and clean, in this color he looks greek-god in my eyes.

"W-what are you... stop," I uttered when I felt his hand caress my back. I could still feel him holding my waist tightly as if shivering.

"I fucking missed touching you like this. I missed all of you, Astraea. I want to kiss you..." he gently uttered to me.

I suddenly looked at him. I saw his eyes, it is full of a burning sensations. It was as if he had longed for it. That at this moment, he could no longer control whatever he was feeling.

I was no longer silent because I felt like I couldn't say what was on my mind either. I'm shaking. I could hear the loud pounding of my heart, it got even stronger as he slowly bent down to reach my lip that's just waiting.

When he felt I would not refuse, he quickly applied his lip to mine. It was slow as if he was feeling it thoroughly. He slowly travels over my lips as if looking for something. I could feel his grip on me tightening and his free hand on my neck. After a while, I felt his passionate and strong kiss on me. I could already feel that metal on my lips and I was also chasing my breath so I clung very tightly to him. I was about to utter a word when someone suddenly banged on his door so I quickly broke away from him. We both looked at the door when Miss Rochelle came out. I saw it lower its gaze to Levi's crumpled polo and to my coat on the floor that I didn't know when he took it off me.

"Oh... Lord," I whispered to myself and put my palm on my face. I feel so embarrassed because of that.

"I'm sorry for... ah... bothering you two but the meeting has already started. You are the only ones waiting," I heard Miss Rochelle say.
