CHAPTER 93
When we arrived at the city, we immediately went straight to the mansion because of Uncle Saldy's order. When we got there, there were traces of happiness on the faces of the two oldies when they saw and hugged my daughter.
"Are you alright? You haven't talked to me that much since we traveled. Does anything hurt?" Levi asked me worriedly.
I looked at it standing in front of me. I came here to the living room because I felt like I was choking on the noise I was hearing in the vast garden of this mansion. Everyone was there, even the children.
When I did not answer, he suddenly knelt in front of me and peered into my face.
“Hey,” he called me when I look away from him immediately when I suddenly remember what Noah said to me.
I bit my lower lip.
“What’s wrong?” he asked again.
The second time, Noah's voice echoed in my brain. It looks like a broken record because of its repeated replay in my brain. What he said made me even more so sad and embarrassed that I still didn’t know how to tell Levi.
Or shall I say more?
“Why is it that every time I see your eyes they always swell? Do we have a problem, Lumiere?” He asked me again softly so I closed my eyes tightly.
What if he doesn't believe?
What if they don't believe me?
What if no one believes me?
How can I tell if I know no one will believe me?
“I'm fine. It's just jet lag,” I excused him.
He sighed loudly and leaned over me. He placed his left elbow on his left knee as he placed his ‘hand’ on his chin so he could see me clearly.
“Are you sure? Tell me if we have a problem so I can fix it right away,” he gently said to me and even combed my hair through his hand.
He will not believe it. He might not believe it. I don't want to add his reaction to the weight I feel.
I took his hand and touched it to my cheek. I close my eyes when I feel the strange warmth from there.
“I’m just happy. I never thought we would get to this point, Levi. I’m very thankful to you,” I lied and kept my eyes closed.
I could already feel his warm breath in my eyes. Later, before I could look up, I felt his soft kiss there.
"I should be the one to thank you for not denying yourself to me before. I’m so lucky to have you and our Asteria in my life. Don’t forget that,” he told me before giving me a kiss.
Later that day, Levi informed me that he was going to meet the new architect of our house. He even wants me to go with him but I refused because I suddenly felt sick.
While I was busy cleaning the living room of the mansion, someone suddenly came up. My eyes widened when I saw a lot of blood on his hands as well as on his clothes.
“O-oh my god, Levi! What happened?!” I hysterically said to him and immediately walk towards him.
When I looked into his eyes, I could almost retreat when I saw so much anger there. The anger I have only now seen. His anger is not normal so I started to get nervous.
“Levi,” I called him when he didn’t answer my question, instead he continued to stare at me.
"Y-you were almost raped," he uttered. I dropped my jaw looking at him. “Right? You were almost be taken advantage of by that idiot?” His voice was still weak but I could hear the intense restraint.
“L-Levi, calm down, please. Maybe... m-may be what will happen—”
"I think I killed him, Lumiere."
At that point, I was completely weak and just sat on the floor.
How did he know?
-
“That motherfucker almost fucking raped Astraea! What do you want me to do, huh?! Stop telling me to calm the fuck down because I fucking can’t!”
I closed my eyes tightly when I heard Levi shout again in the living room while I was in the kitchen to get him some water. Even though the mansion was so big, his shriek could still be heard throughout the house.
No one can calm him down!
“Oh…” I whispered to myself when I almost lost balance when I was about to get the glass of water for Levi.
“I'll do it, Rae. Calm down too, you've been shaking since earlier,” Maxim approached me and took the glass from my hand.
She accompanied me to the living room. When we got there, all the same look was thrown at me so I almost sat down in despair. Especially when I saw Levi's bloody clothes again.
“Is it true, Rae? Noah almost took advantage of you and wanted to rape you?” Uncle Saldy directly asked me.
I let go when I fell on the sofa causing Levi to come to me quickly. Maxim handed me the water that was supposedly for Levi so I drank it quickly.
“Don’t you ever try to deny that fucking… fuck! Why didn’t you tell me?!” He asked me so hard that I panicked even more.
"Is it true? Since when? Why didn't you tell us right away, hija?” Uncle Saldy tries to lower his voice even though I also feel anger there.
I looked at everything. They were all waiting for my answer. I suddenly remember my thoughts that night… if I said it, will they believe me?
"Astraea, don't be scared to tell us everything, especially such a serious thing," his dad added.
When I looked at Levi, even he was waiting for my answer. His eyes were red with anger and the veins in his neck and face were almost out.
He’s really mad. Only now did I see his expression like this so that added to my fear. I know I can't deny this anymore. What should I do?
