Minerva’s POV
The reception is beyond beautiful.
Though I was still panting due to me and Darwin’s long lips-to-lips fondue, the place felt as if we had finally entered the final circle of heavenly paradise to where His Holiness resides.
Shades of sky blue and pink bathe the whole reception. One could mistake this as a lavish debut celebration due to the colors. But I don’t give a damn. This is my wedding. Our wedding. A fucking wedding and, whether one sees it as a teenage birthday party, I don’t care. Everything feels like a dream, everything feels as if I am walking in my own dream. A place that I thought I could only see when I slept.
But with this…money can buy happiness truly. Upon entering, we are greeted with a man-made white chocolate fountain atop a water fountain, waters flowing down like a waterfall. Flowers play a huge role in this sophisticated scenery. Every inch of our wedding reception has flowers and candle lights and other glittering, vibrant wedding ephemeras.
I smiled and hugged Darwin.
“I loved you, Darwin.” He blinked; Darwin couldn’t believe that it was the first time in our history that I initiated the i-love-you exchange of words thingy.
“I love you too, my goddess Minerva.” I blushed, aside from the fact that my name is indeed a goddess in Roman mythology.
Glancing up, we immediately behold the towering pink-and-sky-blue wedding cake. I wanted to sprint towards it like a child who just beheld this kind of tall cake for the first time. Even Darwin had teary eyes, which I was obviously surprised by.
This night is truly unforgettable. The design, the atmosphere, the people…all of it is a chef’s kiss.
Damon waved a hand to us and Darwin and I, with our hands locked, approached him and we took such beautiful photos with a golden silk background behind us.
The cocktail hour has finally come; a great time for our guests to mingle, eat some hors d’oeuvres, and let them wind down before the actual party commenced.
We entered the reception venue again, and this time, a bunch of cameras and mobile phones greeted us. We hoisted our hands and the crowd cheered for us even more as we walked once again in our signature grand entrance.
“Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” The people shouted. So we did. This time, my arms are around his neck and his hands are on the back of my waist, just a little farther from my plumpy ass.
Our Master of Ceremonies, Raymond and Lushan, is now on the microphone and did some warm-up stuff with their vivacious and jolly voices. I almost hold my chuckle when I see both of them. One could mistake them as a gay couple to be honest.
Mariella ushers the guests into the reception hall where the party shall take place. I waved a hand at her and she gave me a vibrant, girly smile. She was wearing an off-shoulder light pink dress—the first time in years I have seen her wear such feminine apparel. I’m glad she’s now finally showcasing her feminine side.
I watched several guests, including Lyla and Gyzell, drop off their wedding gifts at the table covered with sky blue silk cloth.
This night is so memorable…I thought
Damon patted Darwin in the back and told us to have our first dance as husband and wife. We thought we’ll do the consummation in front of everyone as I saw a huge pink-and-sky-blue bed on the side. Glad to know that it’s only for decoration and picture-taking purposes.
“The other dance, Minerva. The one that most people do on the floor,” Damon replied as he took hold of himself from laughing due to my question about the consummation thing.
‘Well, people also fuck on the floor, right?’ The words echoed in the back of my head. Glad that I didn’t manage to utter it in front of my father-in-law.
Darwin and I danced in slow motion since the music is so soft and soothing. As we did, Mariella and Lushan hung a stash made of dollar bills in my neck, as well as to Darwin’s. We did a few other dances on the floor before heading back on the table.
When I was finally able to calm myself from the dance, the best part of the event finally happened: the eating session.

Darwin’s POV
The guests are finally leaving.
I couldn’t believe my eyes earlier when Minerva gobbled two huge Nova Scotia lobsters and several other seafood, not to mention the grilled beef steak and the butter-y grilled pork tenderloin.
‘Yeah, honey. Eat well. You have to stock a glorious amount of energy before I take you to our bed and do you roughly…’ I mused. She caught me smiling sexily and she placed a kiss on my lips.
“Why are you smiling?” She asked as she drank a glass of pinot noir.
“Because you are beautiful.”
“Is that it?” She took another sip before facing me again.
“Are you picturing me naked now, Darwin?” Minerva whispered at me.
I grinned wider. “Since you came to my life, I always see you in your own skin—and in your clothes of skin alone.”
With that, and with the party concluding, I escorted her on the sacred bed where the union of our bodies shall take place.

“God, Darwin. I almost forgot how big you are.”
She uttered between my lips as I slowly entered her.
“You feel different compared to when you’re carrying Hemera.” Minerva just laughed. I slid two fingers in her mouth and she licked it, wrapped it with her tongue as if it was my cock.
