In the Eyes of Minerva

Cyrene and Damon were finally bound together through the holiness of matrimony.

It’s a delight, and a blessing to witness this glorious event—especially when Hemera Lou Miller-Gray, who just turned one year old, was sleeping like a lamb in my arms.

The reception had ended and they were on their way to their consummation, which made me grin as the memories of the night of post-wedding love-making of me and Darwin made me blush.

“How’s my little Hemera Lou Miller Gray?” Darwin asked as he brushed a kiss on my hair.

“She’s sleeping soundly.” I looked up to my man, to my husband. “They are twins, darling.”

Darwin’s face was flooded with joy and delight. “Really, babe? Yes!”

“And they are both boys,” I added.

He tried to hoist me from the ground but I insisted not to as he’ll wake the baby.

My honey pie sweetheart just kissed me. But kisses are always the start of vigorous exercise atop the bed.

And as expected, Darwin and I made love again—in the car—amidst the dead of night…

I watched her smile at my new stepmother as she waved goodbye.
