Chapter 32

Hunter POV

It's been a year since Linnea and I got married and now she's carrying our first child. Her pregnancy was not easy for me especially when she was in the process of conception.

But that didn't stop me from understanding her because I know it's part of my married life and I am happy to serve Linnea and attend to all her needs. About Aiden I don’t know what’s going on with him and Ciara, they are always together.

I'm going upstairs now because my wife has been screaming for how many times, the only thing that annoys me is that she uses her pregnancy to do what she wants but I understand that it is part of her pregnancy.

When I opened our room I saw her slumped on the side of the bed. "Hunter ..." he said softly.

"What is it now baby?" I asked.

"I-I think I'm going to give birth."

My forehead frowned. "Not again Linnea, stop doing that prank already. How many times have you done that." I told her.

"Damn you Hunter." she shouted..

I just ignored her and just turned my back on him. How many times did she do that, especially in the morning when I’m sleeping.

"Hunter Silveste, if I give birth here in no time I'll kill you! I’m already in pain! Take me to the hospital jerk. Huhuhu." she said crying.

I quickly looked at her again and saw that she was holding her stomach and she is already crying. I shifted my gaze to her thighs up to her feet and I could see that her water tank had burst. So I quickly approached her and picked her up.

I even met Aiden in the living room who looked like he had just arrived. Where did this man come from?

"What's going on with Linnea?" he asked.

"Get out of my way Aiden, my wife is about to give birth!" I said.

"I'll drive you both."

We quickly got in the car, thankfully Linnea's supplies for her delivery were ready in the car.

"It really hurts." my wife cried loudly.

Even though I wasn’t the one giving birth I could feel the pain she was feeling by her tight grip on my hand.

"Hold on baby, just be patient and we'll be close to the hospital." I calmed her down.

Soon we also arrived at the hospital, the doctor acted quickly and they immediately took Linnea to the delivery room.

I walked back and forth a few times because of the extreme nervousness I felt for my wife.

"Calm down Hunter." Aiden suddenly said.

"How can I calm down Aiden? Linnea is giving birth to our child, we know how painful it is."

"That pain is natural for a woman who will give birth to Hunter, if you didn't get Linnea pregnant, then she won't experience this."

"You are not helping." I exclaimed.

The door of the delivery room opened so I immediately went to the doctor. "How was my wife doc.?" I asked.

"Come with me inside Mr. Silvestre, so that your wife won't have too much trouble in giving birth. I think she needs someone to be with her.”

I looked at Aiden and he just nodded because he was also waiting for Ciara to arrive.

"Okay Mrs. Linnea you can do it, a little more push to speed up the baby's release." doctor's explanation.

I was holding Linnea's hand and I could feel her dependence on me. I don't even know how painful it is to give birth but I know it gives so much pain to my wife, if the pain can be transferred to me I will just claim it.

"Okay ready wife, in a count of three you just push it okay?”

Linnea's sweat was almost dripping and she was almost losing her strength. I could feel it because she was holding me, I was almost hurt but I didn't stop because I knew there was nothing wrong with what my wife was going through now.

"I really hate you Hunter, I will not allow you again to enter me!" Linnea shouted.

"Don't be like that baby, I want a basketball team." I said jokingly.

"Shut up! I wish that you are also going to give birth so that you will know how hard and painful it is.!" I heard the laughter of those with us inside.

"One push again Mrs.Silvestre, I'm holding my head now. Are you okay? 1,2,3 push."

Linnea's loud scream could be heard in the room at the same time as she was airing, and later it was seen if the doctor was already holding our child.

"Uwah uwah uwah." the baby cries.

"You have a gorgeous son Mr. Silvestre. Congratulations to both of you." the doctor greeted and the others inside applauded.

I looked at my wife. "You did a good job baby." I said and kissed her on the cheek.

She smiled at me as she closed her eyes.

"Doc. What's going on with my wife?" I asked incredulously.

"It's only natural for a woman who give birth, Sir, she's exhausted. She'll wake up when she gain her strength again." She explained it to me.

I took a deep breath, one of them handed me our child and I couldn't help but cry because I was now holding our child. I didn’t know I would be this happy for the rest of my life.

Later, the child was taken from me again because they would clean and fix it while Linnea would be moved to a private room when she woke up.

When I came out of the delivery room I saw Aiden and Ciara.

"How are they?" Ciara asked me immediately.

"They are safe, Linnea will just be moved to a private room when she wakes up because she's asleep."

"And the baby?" Aiden was second.

"The doctor will just clean him and follow up there."

They both sighed, knowing if they were also nervous for Linnea and I am very grateful because they are here for my wife.
