Chapter 33 - End
Ciara POV
We are already inside the private room where Linnea was moved, I am now holding their baby boy. It’s just funny because I can see the sheer pleasure on Hunter’s face and I know Linnea will feel the same way when she wakes up. I am happy for my friend because she has also fulfilled a dream of having her own family.
From the very beginning, I have witnessed what Linnea went through and I admire her resilience in life that even though she was orphaned early, she persevered in life until she graduated from college and was able to work as a newscaster.
"He is really handsome just like his father." I said.
I heard Aiden sneeze.
“Simple because Hunter is handsome and Linnea is gorgeous that’s why it was inherited by their baby.” Aiden said,
"Excuse me?" I said.
"Will you pass?" He teased me.
"Bastard! Well, I will be her beautiful tita.” I said.
"That baby is handsome and you're ugly that’s the truth. I wonder what will be your child in the future. I guess her/his will be inherited by the father and not you.”.
"Can you just come out if you are gonna fight here? You are too noisy and Linnea might wake up." Hunter seriously said.
"Just tell your friend Hunter that he needs to get out." I said and I saw Aiden just laughed.
Soon the door opened and it spat on Dane.
"Oh my gosh another demon, do you have your reunion here?" I whispered.
"I heard you Ciara, because I don’t like you back it doesn’t mean you will be harsh on me.." Dane teased and they laughed.
"Fuck you Dane!" I was annoyed and just sat down while carrying their child.
“Oh c'mon Ciara, I told you that you are my type so I will never fuck you.” he said while laughing.
Arrrggg! This demon is getting into my nerves.
"Your son is handsome Hunter, are you sure you're the father?" Dane said as he sat down next to Aiden.
"Who do you think will be the father? Stupid!" Hunter shouted.
"Maybe he is thinking that I am the real father bro, you know my genes are stronger than you." Aiden seconded.
"Assuming as ever." I whispered knowing if they heard because they were just near where I was stationed.
"Well, Hunter, did you already think about the name of your baby?” I ask.
Hunter shook his head. "Not yet, but we've thought of names in the past and I'll just wait for Linnea to wake up."
Linnea POV
I woke up because of the voices around me, I slowly opened my eyes and saw my friends in the room. I just let them quarrel first and I keep from not laughing because of them.
Soon I noticed Hunter looking at my seat and his eyes widened. He approached me quickly.
"Thank God and you're awake." he said and kissed me on the cheek.
"I've been awake for a while and I've witnessed how Ciara and Aiden's fighting and I won't be surprised if someday they will become a couple." I said laughing.
"Hey Linnea, stop saying bad words because it's not funny." Ciara's complaint.
"Wow! You're the one who complained there, you are not my type. You are too loud!" Aiden replied.
I turned to Hunter to see that he walked over to Ciara and picked up our son.
"Look at our son, he's so gorgeous like me." he was proud.
I could see the gleam in his eyes with so much joy, I didn’t know I could see how happy Hunter was.
He handed me our son and I couldn't help but smile at the same time as tears welled up in my eyes. I never thought I would have the child and whole family I dreamed of.
I thought that I was unlucky because I interfered with a Hunter Silvestre so my life went awry, but I have no regrets now because they are a blessing that the Lord has given me that lasts a lifetime if I am thankful.
"What are you thinking?" Hunter asked me.
"I'm just happy because our family is now complete." I answered him.
"I'm also happy that you came into my life and now you've even given me a priceless gift."
The door opened and a nurse entered. "Mrs. and Mr. Silvestre, I was just here to get your son's name. Have you thought of anything?" she asked.
My wife and I looked at each other and smiled at the same time. "It's Kade Ash Villareal Silvestre." smiling, I replied.
The nurse wrote it down quickly. "Her name is nice, it's perfect for your son. All right, I'll leave first to fix this. Doc and I will come back later."she said and walked out.
"Infairness best he has a long name, maybe he'll complain about that when he goes to school. And other things I hope he will not inherit the attitude of his father and uncle." Ciara groaned.
"Hey, you're too much Ciara, it's more favorable when he will inherit our attitude.” Aiden interferes.
"I will not be surprised if you will be in a relationship in the future.." Dane teased them, so at the same time the two of us laughed.
"Are you still in pain or do you want to eat something?" Hunter asked me, Aiden took our son. No doubt this evolution will be spoiled.
"Nothing, maybe I just sewed it." I said.
"Is it really painful? Do you have medicine for that?"
"It's really natural for those who give birth because there are stitches, but it will also heal and the doctor gave me medicine, right?" I said and he nodded.
He picked up a bag that lay on the table and opened it. "Aiden bought this earlier, eat first so that your strength gradually returns. I know you're tired." He said.
I couldn’t help but look at my husband, I never thought Hunter would be like this. You can really get to know someone when you've been with them for a long time.
Hunter offered me rice with a dish. At first I said I can handle myself but Hunter didn't want to agree.
I can't help but smile, I am now experiencing the dream of having a happy family with Hunter and our son. We didn’t have a good start but I’m still thankful for that because if I hadn’t interfered in his business before we wouldn’t be in this situation today. And even if I had to choose what my destiny would be, it would be repeated if I choose the life I have now that I can't compensate for any amount.
