Carolina's POV:

Even though they had walked down the stairs arguing I could tell that they had found my clues. I could tell by the way Jaxson was acting. He wasn't hurt anymore he was just angry, but not at me. And I hope that the note I left for him is enough for him to find me.

Please find me Jaxson.

I continued watching when the door behind me again opened.

"So, Fake Luna Queen. Ready to watch the pack you failed die slowly." Noah's voice rang out through the room. I couldn't see him yet and I was so tired and hot I don't think I could stand even if I wanted to.

I been given small drinks of water sense I got here and i'm starting to get very hungry.

I felt something hit the back of my head knocking me out completely.

Jaxson's POV:

"What are we going to do now?" Asked Zack asked me.

"We find Noah and kill him for taking my mate away from me." I told him. "We have already ordered the trackers out like you said, but I don't know what more we can do know." Tyler said.

"We should search from his mate and daughter as well. I don't know if they are apart of this or not but they would probably be easier to find." I told them. "Agreed" Tyler and Zack said already mindlinking the trackers their updated commands.

It has been a few days now and we finally found a trail that will likely lead to Noah's Mate and Daughter. It lead the trackers to a human town in Arizona. A common place rouged wolves would go if they don't want to live as a wolf in the woods.

And now after a couple hour drive I am standing outside there apartment. I don't believe this to be where Carolina is. Neither her's of Noah's scent was found here.

The trackers haven't been able to find any trail after a mile out from our boarder. And anything that was there could be gone now as it has rained.

Lets just hope we get something out of this visit.

Even though they left their pack they might still help me to pay for their actions and be reinstated or at least boosted from Omega ranking.

There apartment was on the 4th floor of this 5 story building. I knocked on the door and sense a lot of both of their scents I know they are both home.

"Who's there?" I hear the old Luna's voice.

"A visitor." I say back knowing she will know my voice. "Open the door." I commanded. And just with that the door slowly opens and a women who looks a lot older then the one proud Luna stands before me.

"Alpha King." She says quietly, making sure no one else in this building hears her. "What might be the reasoning behind your visit?" She asks.

"I have a few questions I need to ask you and your daughter. May I come in." I say calmly. Sensing no angry of danger she opens the door wider for me and lets me walk in.

I didn't want to frighten her and get no answers out of her, no matter how mad I am for their disrespect to my mate I have to stay calm so she can live.

I was sat down at the table as the old Luna called for her daughter, Kathrine.

When she walk in the room she froze. It was obvious to me that she wasn't that entitled brat she was the last time I saw her. She was quite as she moved to sit in the sit beside her mother, neither of them wanting to look me in the eyes.

"I want to know where Noah is." I said, and once they heard that name it seemed fear filled them. Kathrine's eyes started watering and the mother's hand shakes as she grabs onto her daughter's hand.

"We want nothing to do with that man." She stated strong but with broken eyes.

It was clear that something had happened.

"Well I want to find him. He is a suspect in the disappearance of my mate, Carolina. I think you owe it to her to tell everything it is you know about his where abouts." I said making myself clear.

Kathrine seemed even more frightened and I could see the decisions running through the mothers head. "I will tell you everything if, if you promise to protect Kathrine and let her join your royal pack." She finally said.

This request was some what expected, but I thought she would include herself in that promise as well. "Did something happen that I should be aware of?" I asked.

Tears started pouring out of Kathrine's eyes now, her mother moved her out of the room and onto the couch for her to lay down before returning to me.

"Alpha King, I beg of you to capture Noah and keep him locked up forever. Him being my mate I couldn't wish for his death but anything else to keep him away from me and Kathrine." She said.

"May I ask why." I asked leaning forward.

She took a deep breath in before staring "After we left the pack, he was different. Well I guess not that different, but more angry with no outlet to control his anger. That was till I came home one day to the sound of Kathrine screaming and, and Noah.... Noah was-" I cut her off saying "It's ok, you don't have to explain anymore."

"It's just, I never thought he would, to Kathrine. He was so, angry and it frightened me so much. He nearly killed her and now Katherine barely will say anything to me and I just want her to be safe. That's all that matters now." She tells me.

"I promise, I will take her back to my pack and catch Noah. I can't promise he will live after that though." I told her and even through it pained her she nodded understanding.

"I know where he is-"

Jaxson's POV:

I was in the car driving back to the pack. With Kathrine and her mother in the backseat. Kathrine was asleep with her head on her mom's lap. Her mother running her hand through her hair.

I set up a place for them to stay before they join the pack. I want to make sure this information she gave me was good

"I know where he is." as she said the I could feel myself hold my breath waiting for her to continue.

"Before we were living together in this apartment in California but I remember him buying a warehouse in Washington state. He told me it was for a business he wanted to start and how he wanted us to move there to get it started." She told me.

"Do you have the address?" I asked. This is the best thing that could have come from this if she has this address.

"Yes, I do. I took a picture of it on my phone just so I could have it. This was of course before." She told me. I nodded understanding as I watched her pull out her phone and search through her photos.

I now have an address. I already mindlinked Tyler and Zack the address and they are getting everything started for our invasion and rescue.

I'm coming for you Carolina, my mate. Just hang in there.

For me.

Carolina's POV:

It's so dark and cold.

I am somewhere new now. Where am I? "Jaxson?" I called out. "No, No, Jaxson here. Just me." His voice said in the dark

"Where are you?" I shouted. Nerves taking over my body and instincts. "I'm over here. Or here. Or maybe even there." His voice echoed around the room making my headache worse.

"You are losing a lot of blood there." I feel some one touch my head make pain strike through my brain. "Stop." I begged. I was so tired and my head was so twisted.

Suddenly a bright TV screen turned on infront of me.

"Jaxson." I called out as I saw him on the screen. Some part of me thought I could go through the screen so I stretched myself forward to try and touch it.

"You see her Jaxson?" The voice started again. "She is slowly dieing. What are you going to do about that? Strip my title away again." He mockingly laughed.

"Shut up!" I shouted hurting my own sensitive ears. "Jaxson's is 10 times the Alpha you could ever be." I shouted more. Till the chair I was sitting in was pushed over and a steel toe boot ran itself into my stomach.

"Jaxson will save me." I muttered.

"What was that mut? Who is going to save you." He asked mockingly again.

"Jaxson will!" I screamed knowing he will but only feeling the pain from the person standing over me. I don't even remember who or what is going on any more. Just this pain.

Jaxson's POV:

As I watch this video that was sent to us my blood was boiling. He was hurting her and all she did was scream that I would save her.

Tyler and Ben were both sightly beside me as they watch this with me.

"We have to move fast. It seems she is losing a lot of blood and already has a head injury. I give her maybe a week with just these injuries." Tyler said. I nodded "Are we ready to move out?"

"Yes," Zack says "Every warrior and the healers coming with us are ready and waiting for you command."

"ok, lets go." I said moving out to the pack house where hundreds of warriors and doctors stood ready to run to the warehouse is. Where Carolina is.

It was long and a hard run. The weather seemed to be against us but we pushed making it to the warehouse. I sent some warriors ahead to scope out the place and see if they see anything. Once we met up they reported that there was 2 rouges standing out side the door guarding. And there was a ton of different Rouge smell.

"Ok, the plan is to surprise them. I want first priority to be getting your Luna Queen out of there. If you see her or smell her mindlink everyone and say you have found her and where you are so make sure not to get lost." Everyone seemed to understand the orders.

"Second priority is capturing Noah and any other Rouge working with him, if you can not capture then you are allowed to kill but capturing is first. Understand?" I asked, earning the whole group to say 'Yes, Alpha King'

"Good. Now lets save our Queen." I said pumping the group up. I know they want her back too so they will do anything they have to to get Carolina safe.

My heart was pumping as I hid in the bush wait to give the order at the right time. I was waiting for someone to open the door to make sure we are able to get in without have to deal with breaking down the door.

Now, I see the guards move to open the door for someone.

Attack

I shout through the link and quickly the first wave runs out attacking the 3 rouges quickly capturing them and shifting to open the doors for the other wolves to run in.

Inside there were tons of Rouges scattered every where, they quickly reacted shifting and couter attacking. I tried moving through the crowd quickly to search for Carolina or even her scent.

But it was hard to point out any sent when they are all so mix in together with the rouge's.

As I was running through the crowd I was taking my anger out on some rouges, knock most out for my warrior's to handcuff and capture later.

I didn't realize Tyler and Zack where behind me till Tyler jumped and attack a Rouge that tried attacking my from the side.

I knew this would be easy work for us from the attack they did before. These wolves are not trained at all. Luna Queen's scent found down the left side stairs Alpha King. A tracker mindlinked me and probably the whole group seeing as most moved to start taking out Rouges in that direction to make it easier to get her out.

I hopped down the stair and ran into walls as it started getting darker. I shifted and found the light switch which revealed a hallway filled with doors.

Carolina's POV:

I could hear something going on above me but there was always something going on. But every time I would wish it would be Jaxson coming for me.

I could hear a loud thud, sounding like someone getting thrown onto the floor. It went on for a few minutes till the light behind the door turned on. I could only see it through the cracks in the door between it and the floor.

"Carolina?" I hear my name being called, by his voice. A sound I have probably longed for the most. I tried to call back but my throat was so dry it barely sounded audible.

I could hear doors being pushed down till he finally reached mine. But he stopped.

Jaxson's POV:

I was in the process of knocking each of these doors down till I found Carolina when a Rouge jumped on me.

I was still in my human form, so fighting back was really difficult. The Rouge tried to get the arm holding their bite back, in his mouth to let him go. I just keep pushing against him, I know I am naturally stronger then him so as long as another one doesn't come I should be fine.

I was able to push him off, but I knew better then shifting now in front of him. He charged at me again, I just dodged and the jumped on his back wrapping my arms around him neck.

With now limited breath he slowed down and passed out.

I mind linked for one of the warriors to come get this one, which was quickly responded and I was back at banging into the door.

This door was a lot harder, maybe made with different materials, so it took me longer to knock down. But it also met their was something in her that Noah wanted to hid.

And once I knocked the door down I saw what it was.

Carolina.

"Jaxson." She called out quietly. I ran up to her quickly untying her and holding her to me. She was holding onto me tightly too. "Jaxson." She said my name again. "Carolina." I said back to her. "Let's get out of here." I told her.

I let go to shift and then moved next to her for her to climb on me. Once she was on and wouldn't fall off I started my way out of this basement.

It seemed the fight was over up here. All the rouges were tied up that I could see. But I didn't see Noah. Zack and Tyler were getting the rouges transport to be taken back to the pack while I took Carolina to Dr. Tina.

She checked her out before telling her to lay down and sleep. I walked up to her and asked "How is she?"

"She is going to be fine. She has some head damage a concession and looks like some broken bones that should heal up fine. But I would really like to check her out again at the hospital." She told me.

"Yes, of course. Thank you doctor." I told her.

"It's a pleasure." She bowed before moving to check the other warriors to make sure no one had sever injuries. So far nothing deadly and that I know of no one was killed in battle.

This is what I would consider a success. Even if we weren't able to catch Noah today, Carolina is back and safe and so are my warriors.

I walked over to Carolina who was laying down on a makeshift bed. She had cuts all around a few looked like they would scar her arms and legs but that's ok. Another reminder of how strong she is.

I was able to find her because of her smart and quick thinking when she left me that note.

I lightly touched her cheek, away from any cuts. I just wanted to double check she was really here. And the sparks flowing over my hand at the contact told me she really was here.

"I won't ever let this happen again." I whispered lightly kissing her cheek.
