Chapter 17 Simon really is bestfriend

Ever since my panic attack Simon have not left me alone.

Literally!

Its been two days since it happened and he has not left my side. Even when I go to the bathroom. He stands at the door and wait like my damn body guard.

But I do appreciate that he cares so much about me. It makes me feel loved. And it has been really fun too. We went hunting, watched movies and played video games. Simon even found a way to convince Cristian to take me shopping. I don't know what he did but I was grateful.

Ever since three days ago I have really felt like my old self again. No more constant lust and weird head aces. I even have the need to cover myself more again like before all this happened.

I don't know what changed but I'm glad it did.

Cristian has really been coming around more often too, not a lot but more. Simon told him about my panic attack and ever since he has been keeping an eye on me I guess.

Right now Simon and I were doing karaoke and it was a duet while Cristian was watching with amusement in his eyes.

We were doing Call me maybe.

"Hey I just met you and this is crazy, but here's my number so call me maybe"

"And all the other boys trying to chase me, but here's my number so call me maybe"

"Before you came in to my life, I missed you so bad, I missed you so bad, I missed you so so bad"

"Before you came into my life, I missed you so bad and you should know that, so call me maybe"

I finished the song and both Simon and I stroke a dramatic pose waiting for an applause when we didn't get any Simon said-

"Heelloo!"

"Oh sorry" Cristian started clapping and whistling.

Simon and I do a bow and take a seat on the beam bag chairs.

We are currently in the gaming room.

"I know, we did awesome" Simon brushes his shoulders with a smirk.

"Yeah Elle did great but you... I wouldn't say you were awesome" Cristian took the remote from the small table and started searching for a channel.

"Please. You're just jealous" Simon brushed him off and turned to me. "But its true though. You really are great. You have an amazing voice"

I looked down and frowned a little. I always sang with my mom. It was our special thing. I haven't really sang much after she went missing. I would a few times but not a lot.

"Thanks guys" I took up the bowl filled with pop corn. "So what are we watching?"

"I don't know. I can't choose one" Cristian sighed out of frustration and threw the remote to Simon.

"Lets watch frozen!" Simon exclaimed.

"Hell no. Watch something else"

"C'mon it'll be fun and I really love singing 'let it go'" Simon pleaded to Cristian.

Cristian didn't answer. Instead he looked at me for approval. "Yeah I don't mind" I shrugged popping another popcorn in my mouth.

"Yay!" Simon searched for it and played it.

"Let it go, let it go, that perfect girl is gone"

"Here I stand in the light of day, let the storm rage on"

We reached where Elsa starts singing let it go in the song and we all were singing. Even Cristian.

He took the remote from Simon and used it as a mic and sang his heart out. I got to say... he was terrible but it was nice to see him this way.

Both Simon and I were now looking at him as he froze in his pose. With him sitting down and head held back with remote to his mouth. He saw us looking and cleared his throat and quickly sat like nothing happened.

Simon started wheezing on the floor and I was trying my best not to laugh from Simon reaction and Cristian's singing. He rolled his eyes at us and paused the movie.

"You guys can stop now" Cristian said but it only made me start laughing and Simon wheezing harder because his throat sounded hoarse and his voice cracked.

I think he went a little too hard on the vocals.

He took up water that was beside him and drank it. After he was finished he cleared his throat.

"Could you stop now?" He sounded more normal this time. But I was holding my stomach from the pain and Simon started letting out the most animalistic sounds which made me laugh more and Cristian frown more.

I could see he wanted to laugh too but didn't. This went on for a good 5 minutes until we settled down.

"Damn that was a good laugh" Simon sat back in his chair and looked at Cristian. "And I'm the one terrible" he snorted.

Cristian took up a pillow and threw it at him. "Shut up Asswipe"

"Ok, ok. Can we continue watching the movie now?" I asked not wanting them to fight again because they fight a lot.

Not physically but verbally. There would be times when Cristian would smack Simon in the back of his for saying something stupid and that would lead to another argument.

Its annoying but amusing at times. Their like me and Eva. Speaking of Eva, she really went back into the depression state after seeing you know who again. Good thing is she still talks to me.

We've had our arguments ever since too. She wants me to go and talk to him and there is no way I'm talking to him.

I fell asleep halfway through the second frozen movie and now it felt like someone was carrying me. From the smell it was Cristian. I didn't open my eyes, I just snuggled more into his arms and fell back into unconsciousness.

I was uncomfortable. I tossed and turned from the pain in my lower back. What's going on now?

It hit me.

My eyes flew open and I ran to the bathroom and checked myself.

Yep I was right. The wicked red witch have returned. I was so late I forgot about it.

I went in to the bathroom and took a shower. After I came back out the shower I was getting chills. Its one of my symptoms when I'm on my period. So I chose to wear a tie dye crewneck and sweatpants.

I checked the bed if I messed it up and thankfully it wasn't. I checked the time and it was 8:14. Gabriella should be here any minute.

And on cue I heard a knock. I gave her permission and she sat my breakfast down on the bed side table.

"The king couldn't have breakfast today with you because of some business" She informed.

"Ok, thanks for telling me" I look at the plate to see toast, avocado and eggs. It just needs something else. "Hey do you have any chocolate?"

"Yeah we do I could get you some" she was about to leave but she stopped. "Are you ok?"

I gave her a confused look. "Yeah, why?"

"Because I smell blood. Are you hurt?"

I didn't look her in the eye, a little embarrassed. "Uh.. no I'm on my period"

"Oh! I am so sorry. I forgot that women go through those stuff" She gave her head a tap with a chuckle.

"Vampires don't have periods?" Would make sense.

"No we don't actually" She smiles and leaves the room.

Must be wonderful.

It's been 3 hours and I am now being smothered by Simon. Gabriella told him about my situation and then he came into my room dressed as a clown with chocolate and snacks and some stuff to help with his.... clowning.

I was now getting a dance show of the Gangnam style and its quite hilarious.

Simon started going around me and throwing small snickers at me. I am living a dream.

After awhile of more dancing he stopped and started helping me eat. I wasn't really happy about that but I just watched eat my chocolate.

"Do you feel better now? I heard these things can be sucker" He put a snicker in his mouth which I am just itching to get out.

"Yeah they are" I didn't look at him because I know I would've chocked him. I just really love chocolate, especially on my period.

I have been curious too because Simon is here while Cristian is out doing 'business'. I know that if Cristian goes any where outside the castle Simon goes with him. So I know that he's distracting me.

"Wonder what it would feel like if men had them too" he started mumbling.

"Simon why are you here?" It looks like I caught him off guard because eyes widen and his mouth is slightly open. "Simon" I snapped my fingers in his face and to snap him back.

"Uh, well you're in pain and I wanted to cheer you up" he puts on a fake grinning face. I know what is real grinning face is and it's not this. He shows all his teeth when he is grinning.

"Cut the crap Simon and tell me why you're distracting me" I am really not in the mood right now.

"Ok fine. Cristian had to leave because he couldn't come around you" Not this again.

"Why?"

"Well he heard about your situation this morning and he was coming to check on you but this strange urge came over him" he took my hand and started rubbing the back of my hand. "He thinks he's a danger to you".

I know he's a vampire but can't he control it?

"So where is he now?"

"He went back to New Orleans to visit the family"

Wow I scared him that much to go back to his family.

"Don't worry he was planning on going back there anyway. It's just that this might be the perfect time to" I was about to ask him when he will be back but he beat me to it. "He'll be back when your red witch is gone" he chuckled from the nickname I gave it.

"Ok" I whispered. I don't know why but I felt like crying.

"Hey you do know that I want to be here with you right?" I looked at with tears in my eyes. "Just because he told me to keep you company doesn't mean I don't wanna be here with you" He gave me a smile and hugged me.

"I didn't say that you didn't Simon" I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

"I know" He started rubbing my back and it feels so good. "I love you"

Aww. "I love you too Simone" he scuffed but I know he's smiling.

We sat in like that for the rest of the day and talked and I realized something.

Simon really is my bestfriend.
