Chapter 18 He's back!

Its been a week since Cristian has been gone and he is coming back today and I was very happy. He called me like three times to see how I was doing. The first call was a little awkward but the next two were really nice.

The more I talk to him my feelings keep growing for him and I am really happy about it. Sort of, what if he doesn't like me that way.

Stop. Stop thinking about this and focus on Simon and the cupcakes.

Is something burning?

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

"Oh my god!" There is smoke. Smoke everywhere.

Simon! Why?

I inhaled too much smoke and I started coughing.

"Simon! Simon!" Where is he? "Help!"

I covered my mouth and nose and tried making my way to the oven. I open the oven and the cupcakes were on fire.

I am going to kill Simon!

"Help!" I shouted. Again! Isn't this place full of vampires.

The smoke is every where so I can't even see where the fire extinguisher is. I start coughing again. I have to get out of here.

"What the hell happened in here?!" I hear someone shouted.

Oh so now you come. I hear the person  running around and then something spraying. Must be the extinguisher.

"What were you doing in here?" A guy pulled me out of the kitchen. I have seen him around here before. He doesn't work with the guards so I'm not sure what he does.

I didn't answer him, mostly because there is smoke in my lungs. He sighs "You know if you can't damn cook don't mess with the stove baby girl" He said not so kindly.

I scuffed and shrugged his hand off me. "Where is Simon?" I chose to ignore his comment because I am really not in the best mood right now.

He stares at me for a while not saying anything and then he breathes out very loudly before walking away.

"Hey! I asked you a question" I run up to him and stop him by putting my hand on his shoulder and turn him around. He's a big guy but I am getting stronger.

"I don't know" he shrugges my hand off and walks away.

You could of just said that asshole.

I see two off the women who cleans running into the kitchen but one stops by me. "Oh my god are you ok?" She looks around on my body franticly for any injures.

"No, no I'm fine. Don't worry" I hold her hand to get her attention.

"Ok" She sighs out of relief.

"Have you seen Simon around here?"

"Uh yeah. He was on the 4th floor. I think he was going into the king's office"

That's weird.

"Ok thanks"

I make my way to the office and knock on the door. The door opens and I see a guy that looks so much like Cristian. I know it's not him because Cristian shouldn't be here in 2 hours.

Another strange thing is he smells just like him AND he is also wearing his clothes. So can someone explain to me the look alike of the man that I was making cupcakes for which are now burned by the way, arrived for who knows how long and didn't come see me. Instead he went to his fricking office! What a gentlemen.

PS, I am being sarcastic and I am also very angry.

I slap him very hard on the stomach.

I might of wanted to feel his abs. Which I did. "You jerk. How long have you been here?" I walk pass him into the office to see Simon sitting in a chair with legs on the table eating Doritos.

"Hey Ellie. Are the cupcakes done?" I give him a stink eye and his smile fell. He looks scared. Good.

I turn my attention back to Cristian. He immediately starts talking. "I am so sorry" He takes a pause, looks at Simon then continues. "Simon asked me to come in early and not to tell you so he could tell me something"

"I did what now?"

Cristian gave him a look and Simon looked a little confused for a sec before he caught on. "Oh yeah! I did. Bad bad Simon" Both of them nervously laughs.

How stupid do they think I am. I decided to play along.

"Oh really. What did you have to tell him?"

"Well you know.... That I have a butt infection?" Simon says more like a question.

I look at Cristian and he has disappointment all over his face. I want to laugh so bad right now but I held it in.

"Really? A butt infection? Guys can you please tell me if it's about me and not keep secrets from me?" I know they have been keeping something from me.

They both look at each other and Cristian nods his head. "Ok. I heard words from the demons that the person who killed the general was seen coming here to the castle." He pauses.

"They have their suspicions that the king sent the person there and their planning war." Simon continued.

No. I put them in danger. I started a war. I don't even know why I did it. This isn't fair. "I put you guys in danger."

"Hey. No you didn't" Simon stands up and side hugs me with a smile.

"Yes I did" I take his hand off my shoulders and take a step away from them. I know I'm being dramatic but what if am not. What if an actual war comes to the castle and Cristian all because of my demon's doing.

"Look you didn't do anything. Your demon did and the reason why I didn't tell you is because I'm getting help from my family"

"That's why you left" I stated.

"Yeah. It took time. My family isn't really easy to convince, especially my dad. But luckily they said yes" Both him and Simon have big goofy smiles on their faces.

Well that makes me feel a little better.

Simon walks over to the seat from before and puts his foot back on the table. "Little one, I promise we'll protect you" He cracks his knuckles and flexes his muscles. Show off.

Cristian walked over to me. "Yes we will and if you don't take your foot down from my desk in the next 3 seconds I will make you catch a butt infection" Cristian says not taking his eyes off my lips.

That's a weird thing to say while looking at someone's lips. From the corner of my eyes I see Simon quickly take his feet down.

"How would you though?" Simon asked.

"Get out!"

"Yes sir" Simon gets up and makes his way to the door and then he stops.

"Elle did you finish those cupcakes?" He seriously did not just bring those up.

I gave a fake smile and said "Yes Simon. Their ready"

"Awesome" He leaves the room whistling. Wait till sees burned cupcakes.

I pay my attention back to Cristian. He immediately puts his lips on mine. He kept walking towards me and I kept walking backwards with our lips still together. I hit the table and sit on the edge of it.

He lifted me by the hips and placed me further on the table and deepened the kiss. His hands made their way under my sweat shirt and he cupped my boobs. I didn't wear any bra because they really aren't my thing.

It felt so good when he started to rub them. He pinched my nipples and I gasped from the pleasure and he took that as an opportunity to put his tongue in my mouth. His lips were so soft I didn't want to disconnect them. But if I wanted to live I would have to breathe.

I broke away from the kiss with my eyes still closed and our foreheads still together. Both of us are breathing heavy.

I opened my eyes and saw those beautiful ocean eyes looking back at me.

"You have no idea how long I wanted to do that" He whispered to me.

I laughed a little thinking of the crazy thoughts that's been going through my mind. He surprises me when he kissed my forehead, then my eyes, then cheeks and finally my lips.

He breaks away. "I promise I will protect you. Even if my life is on the line" I didn't know what to say. I was speech less. What do you say to a guy that says he would risk his life for yours.

"Cristian..." I started but the door cut me off.

The door burst open with a not so happy Simon. "What happened to my cupcakes?!" He looks around the office until he sees the position both Cristian and I are in and his eyes widen but then he smirks.

"What's going on here?"

"Get out!"

"No. I want to know what happened to the cupcakes" he looks directly at me.

"Who are you looking at? You were the one who was to take them out and you didn't even tell me you were leaving"

"Well they were your cupcakes." I didn't answer because that is true. "Ugh fine I'll make more" He left and locked the door. I'm surprised he's even making more.

"Who were those cupcakes for?" Cristian asked.

"Uh, yours actually" He smirks and put his hands both sides of my thighs on the table and kisses my jaw and goes down to my neck. I tilted my head for more access.

"Really?" Damn his voice is so deep.

"Yes" I whisper.

He stops kissing my neck and smiles in my face. "Well thank you" He kisses my cheek and move around to his desk. I was sitting there dumbfounded. That little Asswipe's a tease. Asswipe.

I get off his desk and turn around to see him already in work mode. "Seriously?"

He looks up and look me dead in the eye and ask "What?"

I sigh. "Nothing" I turn around and walk out if his office "Asswipe" I whisper.

"I heard that!" He shouts.

Good.

The rest of the day went on with me helping Simon with the cupcakes and luckily these did not burn. We watched titanic and now were both crying idiots. Like why didn't she just go over more on the damn board. Now my jack's dead.

I left Simon passed out on the couched and went to my room. I cleaned myself up and went to bed.

"Not so fast sweetie"

"You"

"Yes me. I have something else to do."

"No you are not killing anyone else"

"Who's going to stop me?"

Before I could even answer everything went black.

ELIZABETH'S POV.

Don't worry I will make you remember soon. This one is just too personal.

I got out of the bed and took off my clothes. I shifted in my form and flew out the window. I made sure to be more discreet by hiding in the trees and avoiding the lights and guards.

I am going to kill the general's son. I would killed him and his father the same night but he wasn't there. So now it was his time to die.

It took me a while to find out where he is and luckily I found him. He wasn't has far from where his father was but this place is more secretive.

I finally reached and it took me like an half hour to get here. I was hiding in a very tall tree and tried to envision were he was in the building. It sort of looked like a two story warehouse.

I finally found him. He's sleeping. Good, but I also wanted to see the fear in his face when I took his life but this works too. There were guards around the building so I waited until they looked away from my direction.

When they did I used full speed and went on top of the roof.

"Did you hear something?" I heard one of the guards asked.

"Yeah I think it came from over there" One pointed to the direction I was. Gives me easier access. Idiots.

I crawled down the back so they wouldn't see me and went through a back window.

I drew my wings back in and made my way to the room he was in. I tried the door and it was open. Brave idiot.

I slowly opened the door and peeped in. He was still asleep. I quickly went in and locked the door.

He was on his side so I walked over to the side is face was turned to. I take  my sword out from behind me and pointed it to his chest then I placed my hand firmly over his mouth.

His eyes snap open. He was trying to speak but I only heard muffles.

"If you move or even make as much of a sound I will kill you" I was going to kill him anyway but I still wanted to have a little fun.

He nods his head agreeing with me. I slowly remove my hand from his mouth but still held my sword to his chest.

"Sit up" I instruct him. He does.

I put my sword back behind me.

"So you must not know who I am or you might have an idea of who I am" I walk up closer to him. So close that my boobs were in his face.

I see him look at them but then focus' back to my face. He gulps and answers me. "I do now"

I smile. "Perfect." I lean him back on the bed and straddle him. He is laying flat on the bed and I lean forward to his face almost like I was about to kiss him but I pass to his ear. "Do you know why I'm here?" I whisper to him.

"No" he whispers back.

I go back in his face and I have disappointment all over my face. "Wrong answer" I see fear take him over and before he could do anything I bit his right ear off. I quickly put my hands over his mouth.

"Don't want anyone to hear us do we?"

I felt this heat on my arm and I saw fire. The piece of shit set fire on me.

"Shit" I used my breath and blew it out. Another helpful trick for these situations.

"Wrong move buddy" I took my sword out and stabbed him in the neck. Damn that felt good.

I got off him and quickly made my way out. Luckily unnoticed. I got back to the castle and went it to my room. I clean off all the blood and dirt off me and went back to bed like nothing happened and let her back in control.
