Chapter 61 No answers

"Find Liza. That was my command."

"Liza?"

"Do we know a Liza?"

"Not that I know of." Daniel comments.

"Eliza-beth." I said slowly. "Liza as in Elizabeth."

"Well that makes sense. Isn't that what started all of this?"

"Yeah, I guess..." I said slightly unsure it's just that.

"Maybe she can tell who it is now." Andrew suggests.

'Elizabeth?' I tried reaching her but she doesn't answer. I try again but nothing.

I can still feel her. She's ignoring me. But why?

"She's not answering."

"Fantastic."

I let a frustrated sigh out. "Well, I guess we can't sit around waiting for her to answer so we might as well continue with our other problems." I turn to Jeremiah and Daniel. "You guys keep an eye on the rogues and inform us when anything changes. Andrew and I have to head back to the pack to get things under control."

They nod understanding and we left Michael to get some rest. Andrew and I quickly made our way back home and called a meeting for everyone outside.

Everyone is freaking out and chatting amongst themselves wondering what's happening.

Everyone stops talking when I come into view and step on the platform. They look at me with eagerness in their eyes. Some are judgmental, filled with fear and some just really confused.

I take in a deep breath and begin, "The word is out! My demon has resurfaced and she has for a while now. When I was taken by the demons they wanted her to come back and in some way they did help." They all begin to whisper and I wait for them to quiet back down before continuing. "I know I should have told you all about it as soon as possible but we didn't want cause chaos."

"I know how some of you feel about that part of me and you felt better when I didn't have her anymore for the past couple years, but she's back now and I am still the same leader you know and love. Please do not be scared of me, I will stand by your side. You understand?!"

Everyone hums in understanding and a satisfactory smile slowly forms on my face. "And in addition to the announcements and... the pack," I turn around and look Andrew. He seems to get my actions and walks up beside me. He take my hand in his and I face the pack. "We are having a pup."

Everyone breaks out into cheering and congratulating us. After a few minutes of celebration the pack is in now in silence.

"Now, I would love if you kept both news a secret from anyone outside this pack. The Night walker and The Solar moon pack will be arriving in a matter of days and we need to ensure they don't know about me being a hybrid. The baby is just a pack thing for now. Ok?"

They all agreed not to tell anyone else and quickly ran off to do things at home.

I'm glad that they took the news so lightly. I was afraid everyone was going to rebel or something.

Emma, Chris and Junior all congratulated us and Andrew received a slap in the head from Chris for not telling him. I immediately noticed one person wasn't around and I look around for her. When I didn't spot her I asked Lucas.

"Oh, she volunteered to assist the packs with traveling here."

"And you let her leave?" It scares me to even hear that Mia is off the pack land because of these rogues and demons.

"I tried stopping her but she wasn't taking no for an answer and refused to let me go with her. But don't worry, I sent some of our warriors to watch over her and the others."

"Ok, when will they be here?"

"Tomorrow."

Great, Isabel will be here. I totally forgot about her. "Fine."

"She'll be fine." He reassures me. "Congratulations on the bun in the oven kid, you're going to be a great mom." I smile appreciating his words. "And dead when Mia hears about this last." My smile immediately drops and my heart starts beating fast.

"Thanks a lot Lucas." I said through gritted teeth.

He looks at me nervously, slowly backing away. "Anytime. I'll see you around. I have to walk my tree. I-I mean walk some tea. No! drink some tea." He heats him self in the face. "I have to drink some tea." He repeats. Now he was already 20 feet away from me before taking off.

I shake my head and as I'm about to walk around he platform, I bump into a broad chest. I stumble back almost falling but they catch me in their arms. I look up into their chocolate river eyes and get lost in them.

"Woah there pretty lady, I would have thought you were falling for me." He smirks.

"And what if I said I already did?"

"Then I would have kissed you. Like this." He kisses me softly on my lip showing his demonstration. "Then I would have told you, I'm in love with you."

I love hearing him say those words. I smile and say, "Then I would kiss you again." I whisper. I place my hand on his cheek and we both claim each others lips. He slowly stands up straighter causing me to go on my tiptoes not wanting to break the kiss.

He tightens his arms around my waist kissing my with hunger and love. I love every second of it.

We slowly pull away with both our breathing in-sync. "I never get tired of that." I whisper with my eyes still closed.

"I'll do it every day then." I slowly open my eyes to see him smiling at me with the same look he looks at me with. It hasn't changed one bit.

"Luna, Alpha." We break away to see two teenage girls and with their grandmother, holding a basket. "We wanted to gift you with a few things to congratulate on your pregnancy and the future leader of our pack."

"Oh, you didn't have to."

"Please, it's our pleasure." I kindly take the basket to see a bunch of flowers and different chocolates.

A wide smile grows on my face and I look back at them. "We got all your favorite chocolates."

"Thank you, All of you." They bow before leaving. I turn to Andrew with a look of disbelief. "Oh my goddess, I just got a basket full of chocolates."

"Get used to it. There is plenty more coming." I brush it off thinking he was exaggerating.

He was not kidding! Our living room is filled with all different sorts of gifts and mostly chocolates. They know me so well.

"Wow, you weren't kidding." I stated.

"Told you."

"It's been tradition to bring gifts to the Luna when announcement is made that she is carrying the future leader to the pack." Veronica explains.

"Yeah, I just thought that was after the baby is born."

"That too."

"How much more? This is like enough to keep me for the rest of the year."

"We can help you." Andrew, Veronica, Jessica, Anna and Chris all said in unison.

I put my finger up and have a shocked face on. "What was that?" I asked leaning my head downwards towards my stomach. "Little Andrew? No?" I look back up at them and they all have unimpressed on their faces. With a straight face I say, "No."

"Oh come on." They all complain.

"Sorry guys, the baby has spoken." Andrew throws his hand around my shoulders and I raise a questioningly eyebrow.

"You're not getting any either."

"Baby, that doesn't matter to me. As long as my woman and baby is happy, I'm happy." He smiles.

"Aw. But you're still not getting any."

"Oh come on!" He cries. I smile and pinch his cheeks.

Everyone laughs and gets up. "Well we got to go now."

"Ok, we got to go back to the Castle anyway."

"Is everything ok?"

"So far, yeah, other than Elizabeth not answering me."

They look at me sympathy and reassured me everything is going to be ok. We said goodbye to each other and Andrew and I left to the Castle.

Everything is chaotic, everyone is running around while the place is filled with screams and roars coming from the donjon. We quickly run in the direction of all the commotion. We spot Jeremiah, Daniel and Simon standing next to each other watching what's happens in the cells.

I stop to a halt as I see the same thing that Michael went through is happening to numerous of them. We quickly got some nurses rush in waiting for their cue to check on them.

After five long and painful minutes the screams stopped and they all shifted back to their human forms. Nurses are given the cue to go in and check on them. They all begin to throw up black blood but I guess that's normal since that's what happened to Michael.

It just dawned on me that we have saved all these people but where are they going to go. They don't have any homes and they can't go back to their regular lifestyle, the same thing could happen to them again.

"What are we going to do now?"
