ELIZABETH'S POV

I head butt the guy who has me in a head lock which causes him loosens his hold around me and I take that as a cue to grab him by the arm and throw him down on the ground. I kneel into his chest and rip his off with my bare hands.

Being unaware, I feel someone kick me in the back with their big ass muddy crusty ass shoes which causes me to fall on the ground. I land on my back and look up to see the cousin of hulk walking towards me. With widen eyes, I lift my legs over my head so that I can land on me feet.

I stand up straight and slowly take steps back as he walks towards me. "What do they feed you, brick?" This guy his huge.

He growls at me and I swear I smelt his breath from where I'm standing. "You don't use tooth paste, do you?" I ask.

He didn't like my question and immediately charges at me. I spot my sword 3 feet away from the corner of my eye and I have to make a quick decision.

If I don't move, he might crush me and if I do move.... he might crush me.

All the power I had before is gone. I can't do that migraine thingy since I resurfaced, now I'm stuck with this shit until it does. I hope.

"Woohoo, troll!" The guy stops running mid way and looks up and I do the same. "I'm up here." Jules smirks. Taking her distraction to my advantage, I quickly grab my sword and run it straight across his back.

He roars out in pain and I slice through his back once again. He turns around and looks down at me with pure anger.

Oop, I think I woke the beast.

Can you not take these situations seriously?

I'm tired of myself sometimes.

I stand in my fighting stance, ready to take him until I see a spear go through his head. He falls on his knees before completely dropping on his face with a thud.

Jules lowers to the ground with a satisfied smirk as she admires her work. "I did a go job, didn't I?" She asks.

I shrug walking towards her. "I don't know, it was kind of sloppy."

She hits me on the arm and laughs, "Says the girl that almost got crushed by this thing."

"Thank you." I say genuinely with a smile.

She jumps on the guy's back and pulls her spear out of his head. "You know I got your back." She bends down to wipe the blood off with the guy's shirt.

"Yeah but... do they?" I ask as I look up at the sky and seeing them fly around looking for more demons. "You think they'll forgive me?"

"Probably not, but they might surprise you."

"Doubt it. Did you see the way they looked at me and mother today? With pure disgust and hatred. I don't think they can come back from that."

"Let's not think too much about this right now and let's just keep an eye out for anymore of these slim bags."

I agreed with her and we both stayed on foot as we searched around half of the mountain. We crossed path with a couple more but that was it, the rest are gone. They retreated like cowards.

Once we realized everyone stopped searching we did too and started looking for everyone. After 5 minutes of searching we finally found everyone grouped up and at a large opening on the mountain. Jules and I gracefully land on our feet and I look at everyone with confusion once all their eyes were on us.

"What is going on here?"

Jazmine walks out and is the first to speak. "We're leaving."

"Excuse me?" I ask with a risen eyebrow.

"All of us are leaving and we will take care of Nikolaos ourselves."

"You cannot do that. We are suppose to be in this together."

"Oh, but we can and we will. You and Rhea are obviously not fit to lead us anymore."

"And what? You are?"

"I am who they chose." She states proudly.

"Did they? Or did you chose for them, like you always do?"

"I don't let them do anything and I am sure I'm a better leader than you."

I scuff at her and look around at everyone. "This is who you're choosing over me? This bitch who can't stand to be put in 2nd place?"

"Look around, Elizabeth, I am the one in first place now." Jazmine says with a cocky smirk.

"Well congratulations." I say with a fake smile, it then drops when I look at everyone else. "Hate me all you want but mark my words. I will not come and rescue any of you when she gets you in trouble. Don't come crying to me for any of my help. I will sit back and watch you lead yourselves into a death trap." I then lock eyes with Jazmine. "I hope you're happy."

"I am and don't worry. We'll be just fine." She faces everyone and asks, "Are you ready ladies?"

She is the first one fly up and all of them join her one by one. "I hope you're happy with all you're secrets." Jazmine says before flying off and they all follow behind her. The twins were the last one to leave and I am frozen into place in shock.

My whole family just abandoned me.

I take in a breath when I feel a hand on my back. I turn around to see it's Jules. I smile thankful that I still have her by my side. I feel myself about to break down and she seems to notice. She pulls me into her embrace and I let it all out.

I allowed myself to break down in the only person's arms I know that's still there for me. My bestfriend.

"Their all gone mother. They turned their backs on us." I cry as I have my head on her lap.

"It's going to be ok, sweetie."

"You know what I said to them?" I ask sitting up on the bed and wiping my tears. "I told them I wouldn't help them if they needed my help. I practically told them I didn't care what happened to them. What are we going to do now? I let them leave and now I don't know where they are."

"Elizabeth." My mother lifts my chin so that I am looking her in the eyes. "They made their decision to follow Jazmine and they will face the consequences of what comes with that, but they are still our people and we won't turn our backs on them like they did us. We know better than that but for now we stay in the quiet and watch how this plays out."

The last part catches me off guard and I look at my mother as if she's crazy. "Mother no. They could be getting killed right now and we're just going to sit here?"

"This is their punishment Elizabeth. They went against my wishes and I will not let them off that easily."

"They went against your wishes because of me. Please don't punish them because of my actions."

"I stand by decisions Elizabeth and you will not help them until I say you can."

"But mother-"

"No buts, Elizabeth, they have disappointed me today and I will not let it slide. Do you understand?"

I look away from her and take in a breath before saying, "Yes, ma'am." I stand up from the bed and walk towards the door.

"Where are you going?"

"If you haven't realized, I'm in someone else's body so I have to give her back." I say before slamming the door. I feel bad for the way I talked to her but I am just so angry at her, I can't be around her right now.

Everyone comes in from outside and stop as they lay eyes on me.

"Liz?" Jules asks.

"The one and only. Don't worry I'll let Elle back in control." I inform them tiredly.

"Wait," Andrew stops me. "Are you ok?"

"I'll manage, hot stuff. Thanks for the concern." I say before letting Elle in control.

I don't need their sympathy.

ELLE'S POV

I gasp as I feel the wind being knocked out of me. Andrew is already by my side and he helps me to a seat. I run my hands over my face trying to process everything that just happened.

"Do you remember?"

"Yes." I say still in disbelief.

Why did Elizabeth tell them what happened between her and Nikolaos? I can't believe they just turned their backs on her and Rhea like that.

"I really don't like the Jazmine one." Eva remarks. I smile knowing she's still talking to me now and much stronger. This is the second time she's spoken to me after she resurfaced and it makes me happy hearing from her.

"It's nice to hear from you again."

"I'm here for good. You can't get rid of me."

"I know."

I turn my attention back to everyone surrounding me. "This isn't good, Rhea doesn't even want to help them, at least not yet. She says it's their punishment."

"I agree with her." We all look at Jeremiah with risen eyebrows. "It's true, especially that Jazmine one."

"I told you guys I didn't like her vibe. Sssssssnake." Daniel jumps in while making a snake sound.

"I still can't believe she even had the courage to go up against Elizabeth." Jules mumbles as she looks at the floor.

"What do you mean?"

"Even though her and Elizabeth weren't on the best terms, she would- she couldn't have challenged her to fight. Not with Elizabeth being the princess and everyone's favorite person. From the looks of it, she's been waiting for this moment her entire life and she took the chance she got.... when everyone despises the golden girl."

"It's sad that we're realizing this and everyone else is blind enough not to see it."

As all of this is terrible, I just really can't keep my eyes open. Unconsciously closing my eyes, my head drops slightly and I jolt up from freight.

"You're tired, you need to get some rest." Andrew states looking tired himself.

"No, we have to know what we're going to do about the others." I say stubbornly.

Andrew helps me up from the chair and carries me in bridal style. "We'll do that in the morning when you are fully energized and not about to drop."

I sigh tiredly, not wanting to fight him on it because I really need to sleep.

"We'll see you guys in the morning." Everyone mumbles a goodbye as Andrew walks out the room.

He closes our room door and gently lays me on the bed. I slowly open my eyes and look at Cora's crib to see her sleeping soundlessly. I smile knowing she's ok and close my eyes again.

"How was she today?" I whisper.

"She took it like a champ." I feel the bed deepens beside me and I scoot closer to his warm body. He wraps his arm around me and brings me even closer.

Finally getting comfortable with my head on his chest, I let a sigh relief out. "I love you." He whispers.

"I love you too." I say before drifting off into slumber.
