Nighttime.
Quinn and Henry sat opposite each other, looking at each other awkwardly.
It's been hours since Stephen left, and since then, they hadn't said a word to each other.
"So, he's really and truly your husband?" Henry wasn't fully convinced.

"Is she my daughter?" He questioned calmly.
Quinn froze at the spot. Her heart began palpitating. She didn't respond, neither did she move.
"Didn't you hear me?"
She heard him stand up, and made his way towards her.
What now?
She took a deep breathe, and prayed her voice wouldn't betray her.
"Tell me! Is ..she... my ... daughter?" Henry roughly turned her around.
Quinn shook his hands off.
"You think too highly of yourself, Mr Henry. Why would I bother to hide your child from you? That is if she's yours, by the way?" Quinn made sure her voice sounded defiant enough, to mask the fear she was feeling...
"I'm I? If my calculations are correct, then there's no way you would have a child for your so called husband, if he's one. That is except, you've been seeing him before you left California." Henry gripped her by the shoulders again.
"What if I was?" Quinn retorted.
Her response threw him off guard. Really? Did she just admit to his nonsense speculation?
But that would be ridiculous; it didn't even make sense at all...
Did she take him for a fool?
He was a CEO for Pete's sake!
"Well well... What can I say? I will leave you to ponder on your thoughts. Maybe in the nearest future, your daughter may forgive you, if she finds out you hid her true father from her!"
Saying those words, he stomped upstairs... He didn't want to spend a second talking to her anymore.
He could get a heart attack if he did!
He pushed open the door to the master bedroom, and fell on it. He tried to push thoughts of Quinn and everything concerning her from his mind...
His mind wandered to Kathleen... He had to 'divorce' her and be rest assured that he was done with it.
He turned and shifted uncomfortably on the bed...
He wasn't going to get any sleep that night, he was sure!

Quinn stood rooted at a spot as Henry's parting words kept recurring to her.
Would Emelda think of her as a bad mother?
There was no way she would right?
She was only doing it to protect her from unknown forces.
What if, in a fit of anger, Kathleen or her father decided to harm her child?
She wouldn't be able to take it...
She would explain everything to her, when she grew up. Emelda would understand, wouldn't she?
She went up the stairs, a step at a time....

Quinn lay on the bed, wise eyed. She couldn't sleep at all...
She turned and lay on her side.
'Danggg!!!' She got up and flung the duvet to the side.
She was going to go insane, if she lay there.
She adjusted her sleeping robe and made her way to Henry's room.
A round of sex, may help her fall asleep right?
Slowly, she pushes open the door and went inside.
Standing at a spot, she tried to adjust her eyes to the darkness that enveloped the room.
She tiptoed to the bed, and felt the sheets with her hands.
As she did so, a muscular arm pulled her down. She fell on his hard body with a yelp.
