48. Sinful Book 1

My mini vacation was over, it was time to get back to the real world, where I had to work to make a living.

I peeled myself from Antonio and ran to the bathroom to get ready, I didn't want to be late to work for any reason, not even Antonio.

"Hey let me in!" Antonio's voice came from behind the bathroom door, thank heaven I locked it.

"Go take a showers somewhere else and leave me alone!" I yelled back. I didn't hear anything from him again so I suspected he had gone to his room to take a shower.

When I was done, I dressed quickly in a pantsuit and a white button down shirt, I packed my hair in a bun and applied mascara to my lashes and lip gloss to my lips and I was ready to go.

When I went down for breakfast, I saw a filly dressed Antonio sitting at the table with a mug in his hand as he kept his attention on the iPad he was holding with his other hand. He looked like he walked straight out of a magazine cover. He was wearing a black suit, and from the way he looked sitting, you could tell that he would look better if he stood; plus that man bun, that man bun gets me all the fucking time!

"Oh hey baby, you like what you see?" He teased with a killer smirk playing on his lips.

"No, you look like shit," I lied, rolling my eyes at him.

"You bloody liar," he laughed and I joined him. I poured myself a cup of coffee and when I was done, I headed towards the door.

"See you later baby," I said and hurried to the car.

When I got to work, I could feel a certain type of new energy, like I missed something big when I was away.

"Good morning," Sewa greeted me, she had a full smile on her lips.

"What's going on?" I asked her, she smiled even wider and wiggled her brows.

"An eye candy was hired," she gushed. No wonder all the ladies had big ass smiles on their faces.

"That's nice, bring everything I've missed right now" I told her and nodded.

An hour into working, there was a knock on my door and a new face entered into my office.

He had his hair slicked back, and his blue eyes shone brightly like no other. If he was the eye candy, then he really was an eye candy, but what was he looking for in my office?

"Hi, I'm Dan, you've not met me before, I'm the new guy" he introduced and I gave him a fake smile that was filled with bewilderment. Talk about weird!

"Uh, I'm Sewa, nice to meet you," I maintained my smile.

"I was going around, getting to know people, found out you were the only one left," he smiled and I nodded.

"That's cute. Now I know you, happy?" I asked him and he smiled. If anything, I became scared, he was one strange man. He didn't make any move to leave my office, and I needed to work.

"Is there something you need?" I asked him, he shook his head in response.

"You're really beautiful," he said out of the blue.

"Thank you," I smiled and gave him the "what's next" look.

"Sorry, if I made you uncomfortable, I'm not usually like this, it's just that you're too pretty and I don't know how to act" he confessed and I smiled. This was my chance to throw him out of my office without feeling any ounce of guilt.

"Well you can start by leaving my office," I suggested, pointing at the door. He looked from me to the door, then nodded his head, hopefully getting the message.

Any more time in my office and those stupid gossips would start running their mouth!

"I'm really sorry for this" he apologized and left the office. What in the thirteen planets was that? Talk about weird and creepy!

I continued my work, pushing the thought of what had just happened away from my mind. That man was a weird dude and I wanted nothing to do with him.

During lunch, there was a knock on my door, and this time it wasn't Melissa like I thought it would be, it was Mr. Weirdo. Where the fuck was Melissa when I needed her?

"Hi," he said as he let himself in.

"Hi, can I help you?" I asked him.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to get lunch with me," he asked, I smiled and looked down at my desk, thinking of the meanest ways to tell him to leave me alone.

"I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to pass," I gave him a tight lipped smile.

The dude was legit scaring me at that point! Like why won't you leave me the fuck alone? What do you want from me? Who are you?

"You're breaking my heart Sewa," he placed his hand over his chest.

"I'm sorry, I hope it gets mended soon," I told him and he laughed. No bro, I wasn't trying to crack jokes with you! Just leave me alone.

"When you're going out, can you call Melissa in for me?" I asked him and he nodded his head.

He got up quietly and left my office; as soon as he was out, Melissa came in.

"I don't want to see him in my office again, like why would you even let him in without giving me a heads up?" I asked her and he looked down at her fingernails.

"He said he wanted to be friends with you, I didn't think it was a bad idea, so I let him in, but I've taken the warning, I won't let him in anymore, I promise," she smiled and I nodded my head.

"Do you want anything for lunch, I'm going to get lunch" she said and I nodded my head.

"Get me anything" I told her and she nodded and left my office.

Dan... what the fuck was his deal with me?
