Drown
The wedding will be in the next two days. That just means that we still have enough time to burden each other. As if I have a choice. I just tried to look at the bright side of this trip slash vacation. At least, I get to experience this once in a lifetime.
The next morning I’m surprised that we did not have breakfast with his friends and colleagues. Instead, we rode a yacht and sailed through the sea and had an explicit breakfast. I can’t help but to gawk at the islands that we are passing by. As we go further, the sea becomes clearer and clearer.
The sun's rays are like nourishment to my withering body. Thankfully, my outfit was made for days like today, and I was able to receive all the nourishment I require. Standing on the side deck in a tie-less top and baggy white jeans, I gazed out at the placid sea below. Is this what people mean when they say the ocean provides a "vitamin for the soul?" Just because I think that's what it should be.
”Isn’t this a bit too much?”
”Shit!”
When I felt a hand on the small of my back, I clenched the railing tightly. A man like this! He was just with the captain a few while ago and is now here, even making fun of me.
”Are you trying to kill me?” I groaned.
He wet his lips and caressed the small of my back. “I was at the main deck, I wondered why the captain was suddenly out of focus only to find out that he’s gawking at you.” he said with almost no emotion.
”Huh?”
Hissing, he shoved me in front of him. His arms are at my sides, shackling me to the railing. It's impossible not to feel resentful and uncomfortable. For some reason for the past three days, he's been making it so I can't even have some privacy.
”Why did you wear this? Are you out of clothes now?” he said with a deep hoarse voice.
”This is what your secretary had brought me. And if only you told me that we’re going to the beach I could have prepared for more appropriate clothing. You think I want this as well?” I sneered.
He cast a sullen glance at my face and went returned to the scenery. His huge wayfarers are stealing the spotlight, so I can't see his eyes. The thought that he might read my mind caused me to avert my look and concentrate on the scenery instead. I mean, take a look at him.
”Alright. So long as it has been thus far. Once we get back, we're going to go clothes shopping.
I chuckled. Yeah. Wasting money again? I don’t know how many times I told him that I don’t need more clothes.
”For now, Let’s settle on this.” he whispered.
I gulped when I felt his body on my bare back. Does he lift? Why does his body feel so hard like he’s living at the gym?
”Aren’t we gonna h-have our breakfast?” I asked so that it’s not awkward.
”They’re still preparing it. I’ll have a dip for now.” he said.
He removed his body on mine then he pulled the neck of the shirt and there! He’s half naked in front of me. I blinked in a mixture of shock and awe.
”Go back to the deck.” He commanded.
I’m quick to protest. “What? Where are you going?”
He took off his sunglasses and pointed at the sea. In addition to giving it to me, he wrapped his arms around my waist. That made me almost take a backwards step.
”Go back and wait for me. I don’t want to have a fistfight here.” he said and glanced at somewhere.
After following his gaze, I realized the person he was staring at was the captain. I smiled as I turned my attention back to him. His eyebrows arched. Smiling, I turned my head to the side.
My reply caused him to hiss, and he let go of me. As quickly as he removed his shirt, he slipped mine over my head, and I was speechless.
”Hey!”
There," he smirked. We'll take that as an improvement. That was it; he ran straight for the water.
My mouth fell when I realized he was gone. Would you say that's... fine? I sneaked a look around, but I can't find any sign of him. In anticipation, I waited for him to come out. What is it like to be out on the water? That must have been a wonderful sensation. A club like that is completely foreign to me. Even I am experiencing all of this for the very first time right now.
The water did its job and drew me in. Halfheartedly deciding to do so, I took off his shirt, revealing just my own. I followed his example and dove into the ocean, experiencing the euphoric sensation of merging with the chill of the water. Of course, that didn't continue for very long.
A brief time spent in contact with the sea was followed by an absolutely terrifying sensation. When I tried to move my foot or arms, I felt like they had no idea what to do due of the pressure pulling me down. I'm completely oblivious to anything down there save the ocean's infinite depth.
I tried to look around, but when I did, my eyes hurt. There was a brief moment when my head popped up out of the water where I had to catch my breath. With a whimper, I realized that I was having trouble breathing. My weary appendages have had to do all the flailing they can just to stay alive.
As soon as I considered halting, a tremendous presence filled me, and the next thing I knew, I was well above the waves. When I finally felt air, I let out a sharp gasp. The first thing I noticed as I opened my eyes was Aciel's face.
”What the fuck, Aciel!?” he grunted.
He got no response from me. He has such a firm grasp on me that I can practically feel his insanity. My heart pounded, and I gulped, from both terror of him and the realization that I had nearly perished.
”Didn’t I fucking told you to wait for me!?” his voice bombed and echoed at the wilderness.
He scooped me and placed me at the side deck. I shifted to my place to give him some space so he could get up. As soon as he’s up he gripped my arms so hard rocking me while asking.
”Why the hell did you dive in the ocean!?”
He’s really mad, I got so intimidated that my lips quickly opened to reason out.
”I…I thought I could swim.”
”Of course you can’t!”
”I’m-”
”Is it too hard for you to obey me, huh!? You almost drowned! You’ve never swam before, of course you’ll drown! That’s fucking basic, Alia!”
I was shocked to realize he was shouting directly in my direction. Suddenly, a woman came with a stack of towels. As a result of this, he took his hands off of me and brushed his hair angrily. Seeing him like that gave me the chills. There has never been a time when I've witnessed him acting this way. Certainly never this irrational.
As she handed me the towel, the woman aided me to my feet. I did that, and then turned around to hand him the other towel. However, he fled before I could complete the task.
