Done with that Mr. Evans. Check your email.
I hid my phone as soon as I read that. I saw Aciel glanced at me and I pretended not to mind. We’re going back to Seattle. He's been driving for a couple of hours now. I also can’t remember how many times I had a nap.
”You can watch movies if you want. I’m sorry I’m a boring company.” he chuckled.
I smiled lightly and shook my head.
”My chopper is not available since there’s no helipad in Long Beach. I’ll work on that next time.”
I don’t know how many times I could be more amazed about his wealth. It’s like he’s just blurting out those things as if it’s nothing. In fact, a month ago I’m using my body to make a living.
”We’ll stop by to have lunch.”
Then we stopped at one of the fast food restaurants on the road. It’s not a place that Aciel would choose, so I’m quite surprised.
”I’m sorry. This is the only one here. We’ll get real food once we’re back.”
He opened the door on my side and then he ordered the food. This is not my first time to eat here, I actually like this more than his type of foods. Burgers and fries are the cherries on my palate.
After that, we drove again for I think a couple of hours until we got back to his penthouse. I didn’t even do anything but I got so tired. It’s more tiring to travel going back.
”You can just put it there.”
I sat on the couch, drowsy. While Elijah is ordering his men around. He’s on the phone and standing meters away from me. I couldn’t just chill here and do nothing. I’m forgetting that my time of letting my feelings work has long been done the moment we left that place.
”Yeah. I just got back. I’ll try to send those emails later. I’ll be approving his appointment but that better be quick.”
He’s going out?
I stood up and went into his direction. He glanced at me quickly but it went back to me again. I pursed my lips as I stood in front of him. He stared at me and I cocked my head.
”…sure.” I reached for the button of his dress shirt. “Talk to Attorney… regarding that.”
He stretched his neck when my finger touched his skin. I acted as if it’s all normal. I unbuttoned it one by one but when I reached the third button his hand stopped me.
”Why?” I mouthed.
He glared at me using his dark eyes. Like as if he got me by that. Tss.
”I’ll… go now. Make sure he’s on time.” his last words before dropping the call.
I pouted when he removed my hands on him.
”Let me,” I said. “You should change first.”
I smiled while unbuttoning his clothes. I’ve seen different bodies before. Never did I think about it. Nor had a slight criticism and interest. For me, all of them are just evil.
He placed his hands on his waist and looked up as if he’s having a hard time. I saw how his neck and chest turned red while I did that. I bit my lip seeing him affected. Men and their libido. Tss.
When I’m done doing that, I reached for his belt but he quickly grabbed my hand to stop me.
”That’s it.” He turned his back on me.
He walked in the direction of the hallways. I followed him.
”You’re leaving?” I asked.
”Yes.” he muttered with a cold tone.
”But we just got home. You must rest first.”
No. I don’t care. You must leave.
He stopped for seconds then looked at me. “I have an important meeting. That’ll be quick.”
I pouted and flickered my lashes differently. The usual innocent Emma is now pretending to be one.
”Come,” he offered his hand. I didn’t even contemplate and gave him mine.
We walked into his room and made me come in. This is not my first time seeing the inside but of course, I pretended as if it’s my first time there.
He walked through his transparent closet. I saw his bare back, that’s… what’s the ‘first time’ here. He was quick, he’s already wearing another dress shirt. I came to him and hugged him from the back. I felt him stiffened.
”Can you stay?” I whispered as my cheeks pressed on his back. His cold hand held mine and faced me.
I saw his tired eyes. Not tired, I mean… soft eyes. He cupped my nape and I closed my eyes to feel it. He let out a harsh breath.
”I’ll be quick. Wait for me.” He said and kissed my temple.
I acted sad but deep inside I celebrated hearing that.
”Come and I’ll take you to your room. You should rest as well.”
”I want to wait for you here.”
His eyes glitched a bit after hearing that. He stared at me for so long that I almost got afraid that he'd read my intentions.
”Alright.”
I smiled wide and let him drag me to his bed. I sat on his soft mattress like a child being tucked into bed by his father. That disgusted me for some seconds.
”Sleep here in my room. I’ll be fast.” he said.
I nodded. We stare at each other’s eyes. His eyes looked down into my lips and I saw him gulp. I tilted my head expecting his kisses but it didn’t come. He just kissed my temple again like what he used to do. He left after.
I waited for minutes after turning on my phone and read Lulu’s email. I’ve been waiting for this time to come.
There are several links that he sent and some pdfs. It’s so new to me that I even had a hard time working on it.
