A loud scream woke me from my dreamless and light sleep. I was still in this room. It was kept plain in gray and black. He was cool and not at all inviting. He was also very small and only had a bed, a closet with a few things not even my size and a small shelf with a few, albeit few, books. I also had a small bathroom, but it only had a toilet, a sink and a tiny shower. In my room I had a small window with bars in front of it. But it was still big enough to look out, to see the sunset and sunrise, and to see the great outdoors.
I've been here for two days and two nights. Ryder hit me and I passed out. When I woke up I was here. He used to come in here and want to talk to me, but I ignored him. Then he would get angry and bang on the wall making me wince. My wall already had ten holes.
My stomach growled. I hadn't eaten anything for days because I refused to even touch anything. I only drank water from the crane and only as much as I had to. No more, no less.
The third day since I last saw Derek. Is he looking for me? He must have found someone better. one who loves him. But why is nobody looking for me? What about Chris and dad? Where are they? I just want to go home. I haven't been able to cry for a long time. I had used up all the tears and because I didn't drink enough, I always got a headache. So I pulled myself together.
Ryder still didn't know my name and since I wasn't talking to him, he didn't know about me. He'll probably show up right back and want to talk to me again or try to force me to eat.
My wolf broke a piece more every minute. All the thoughts of Derek were killing me. The uncertainty consumed me. How is he doing?
"Can I come in sweetie?" there was a knock at the door. He is back again. I got up and sat in the corner by the window and looked out. The door opened and Ryder stepped in. I didn't look at him.
"Honey don't ignore me anymore. It breaks my heart to see you like this. Talk to me. Please. I just want your best." he said calmly and came towards me. I looked up at him. I looked at him dismissively. My best? Are you serious? That's why he locks me here. So he ignores my needs. That's why he doesn't care about me at all.
He went back out of the room. Be fucking serious. He wants to know what's going on, but doesn't even wait for my answer. I cried out in anger and banged on the door. I pound and pound against it until I couldn't anymore. Desperate, I slid the door behind me.
~~~~~~~~~
For hours I've been sitting in front of the window again and, as always, looking out in the hope that I'll see Derek. I knew he wasn't coming, but I still hoped he would find me.
Again there was a knock at the door. Sam came in. He always brought me my food, but this time he came without it.
"Ryder says you need some fresh air. I'm supposed to take you outside." he said coolly. I thought about it for a moment, but then got up. This was my chance. All I had to do was wait until someone was inattentive and then transform and just start running. The direction doesn't matter at first. I just needed to get away from him so he couldn't see me anymore. Since I had no smell, he would not find me so quickly.
There were many wolves outside. They all looked at me with big eyes. Some looked at me pitifully, others suspiciously. Some even looked at me with contempt. What have I done to them? I was the victim. I couldn't see Ryder anywhere. We came to a clearing with several more wolves. I had already seen at least two hundred wolves. Because there were a lot in the house, there were a lot around the house and there were as many as there were in and around the house.
Sam took me to Ryder who was fighting with another. Please kill ryder. screamed my inner wolf. I just wanted to see him dead on the ground. He took everything from me. My ultimate joy in life. derek Chris. dad All. I hated him to the core and at the same time I cried out in front of him. Every time he got too close to me, a shiver ran down my spine. The fact that he didn't know my name didn't help either, because that's what he always called me 'cute', 'honey' or something like that.
He looked at me and came towards me. Everyone in the clearing looked at us intently. He went to hug me but I dodged him and hissed 'don't touch me'.
"Transform, honey." he said affectionately. Bah. Playing the best in front of everyone, but in truth he didn't give a damn about me. I didn't respond. He grabbed my wrist, making me growl loudly and pull my hand away. Everyone who just looked at me with contempt now looked at me with glee.
"Do not touch me." I growled softly.
"You kindly do what I tell you, otherwise this will have consequences and I doubt that you can hold your own. You don't have enough strength. You haven't eaten anything for days." he said dismissively. I turned my back on him and walked towards the house.
"Where's your oh-so-great mate anyway?" he laughed dismissively. I immediately stood still and slowly turned around.nobody. nobody insults Derek at all. Getting upset is one thing, but no one insults him in front of me.
"Don't you dare insult or even mention him again." I hissed. He was still looking at me dismissively.
"Derek. Derek." shouted a blond. He was about Ryder's age and very muscular. Just like almost every werewolf. Everyone looked at him. My chance. I transformed and ran. Just go away. As fast as I could.
"Hey. She's running away." screamed Sam. I feel everyone looking at me, but I kept running. Deeper and deeper into the forest.
"You can't escape me. No matter where you hide, I will find you." Ryder roared into the forest. But I just kept running. Keep going. My strength wanted to give in, but it will never go back again. I just had to make it. I just had to go. I ran and ran. My strength increased again. I wanted to survive. One more day and I would have somehow taken my life. I wouldn't have survived in there. It was like a prison. But with mental anguish. It was unbearable.
For minutes I just started running. I saw a familiar spot. It was where I first saw Ryder. There. That way. It was the direction I came from back then.
I ran for my life My strength decreased and my paws hurt, but I couldn't give up. I ran for hours. I think about two hours. I could not anymore. I slowed down. And slower. A familiar smell filled my nostrils. Not for long. Just a few more hours. I've already been in their territory.
But then. A tree trunk lay in front of me. I started to jump, but no. I could not make it. With my hind paws I skin against the trunk. My when hurt like hell. I hit the ground unconsciously. It was wet and dirty, but I didn't care. Am I safe yet? I turned back. Now I lay there. delivered helpless. Powerless. My eyes slowly went black. I hoped someone would find me. But then it was black...
