###Chapter 101 Leaving Jordan
###Chapter 101 Leaving Jordan
It was only a one hour drive to her destination. It won't take long to get there.
After getting off the high-speed train, Maisie took a taxi and went directly to the place where we lived. It was obvious that it was a newly-developed community.
The house was not big, with around 100 square meters only. It had a fine decoration but not too high-end. It was just right for two people to live in.
"We'll just go for a walk tomorrow. Let's have a good rest today and go out to eat something later," said Maisie while leaning against the door of my room. We just finished cleaning up the place.
I nodded. "Where are you going to eat later?"
"What would you like to eat?" Glancing at my rumbling belly, she said, "Let's go eat French food!"
Knowing that she was worried about my hunger, I said, "Let's eat Italian cuisine instead! I haven't eaten pizza and pasta for a long time. I've been eating fried food for almost five months. I deserve to eat luxurious foods every once in a while."
She raised her eyebrows. "Are you sure you don't have to avoid certain foods?"
I nodded, "I'm sure!"
"Okay!"
I was not familiar with Greenville, so I basically followed Maisie everywhere we went. There was a Wanda Square around the town, and the third floor of which was filled with food stores and restaurants. I haven't come out to eat for such a long time, so going around with Maisie was like exploring and discovering new places.
Maisie showed me around the town for a while. If only I was not a pregnant woman, she would have taken me strolling until tomorrow morning.
She finally found a pizza and pasta restaurant and ordered a meal for us. She sighed and rubbed her chin. "I really wanted to eat when we left the house, but now I lost my appetite after ordering. It spoiled the fun!"
After counting her pregnancy period, she realized that she was almost two months pregnant. Looking at her, I couldn't help but ask, "Don't you have any pregnancy vomiting?"
She shook her head. "I just don't have much appetite. Everything else is normal."
Everyone's situation was different, so I nodded and said, "When you are ready, you will stay here in Greenville to raise the baby. After two to three months, you should also pay attention to what the child's things should be prepared, and tell me what you need to know."
She nodded and smiled. "It's all ready. I even found the Daycare Center that would take care of the baby. Greenville is not like Hempstead, where Daycare Centers are few, so I found one close to our place which would be convenient for me."
Maisie was better at taking care of people than I was. I took out a bank card from my bag. I pushed it in front of her and said, "Keep this card. Grandpa Astley gave me the money when Jordan and I got married. I never used it. You can keep it. If you stay in Greenville alone, there can always be inconvenient times."
She frowned and returned the card to me. "No, you keep it. I don't need it. I saved the money for the house over the years I was working. I also have the transfer fee for the bar. Your family spent a lot of money and gave me twice as much money as the market. I haven't touched it yet. You can use this card for emergency purposes. Don't worry about me at all. Keep it for yourself."
Ignoring her, I returned the card directly to her hand and said sincerely, "Anyway, just keep the money. My annual allowance, while I was part of the Astley Family in the past two years, was large enough, and I have basically never used it. Besides, I haven't touched the card given to me by Jordan. Also, Jordan and I haven't divorced yet, and he won't cut his funds for me. Even if we get divorced, there would be a lot of divorce money that I can get. So you can keep this card. Don't worry about me at all."
She just took away the card, looked at me and said, "Okay, just tell me if you want to do anything. Don't be bored by yourself!"
The waiter brought up the pizza to our table. I moved over and looked at her and said, "Well, this is delicious!"
Time flew by when we're talking while eating.
Seeing that it was getting late, she rubbed her belly, looked at me and said, "I'll have a cup of caramel latte later, and then go around the plaza for some more time. I haven't bought anything for a long time and I really want to go shopping."
It was difficult to go around the place. After paying the money, we went directly to the counter area.
"Hey, why are you acting like this recently?"
Before she had finished paying, she froze. Her face was somewhat frightened and unnatural.
I could not help but follow her eyes to see behind. Not far away, there was Liam, dressed casually. His body was as elegant and gentle as usual. His appearance was unparalleled and more attractive than a male celebrity.
Had it not been for a woman with excellent temperament and good appearance standing beside him, I would have known that many women would have flocked to him at this time.
Why did he come to Greenville?
I glanced at the woman beside him who was dressed in a body-fitted dress. She was charming but not intimidating, and he stood holding her hand among the crowd. She looked nice and beautiful. Her figure was undeniable very attractive.
It seemed that he was wandering around with people. Instinctively, I took Maisie's hand, turned my back to them, and said, "Let's go back first!"
Maisie, who was no longer in the mood to go shopping, nodded and said, "Sure, let's go!"
I thought he didn't see us, but I didn't realize that Maisie and I have not yet taken steps away from him until a large man in a black suit suddenly stood in front of us.
The man, wearing sunglasses and showing no expression, stood in front of us and said, "Guys! We would like to welcome you. "
"Ivelle!" Maisie was a little nervous and clung to my hand.
Patting the back of her hand, I said to her, "It's all right!" Looking at the man in black, I said, "Sorry, it's getting late. Please go back and tell Mr. Weld that we'll have dinner another day."
Pulling Maisie and getting ready to leave, he blocked us. "Miss Ivelle, Mr. Weld said that if you don't want to go out, he can go and see you in person in the evening."
"You go and tell him not to push us too hard. If you give us a hard time here, he won't have a good time as well." Maisie suddenly raised her voice, still holding my hand, feeling a little angry.
The man was still indifferent. He said in a cold tone, "Why don't you two behave? Otherwise, I don't mind carrying you two over there."
"Don't you dare!" Maisie blushed anxiously.
I stopped her and looked at the man in black. "Just lead the way!"
I was no longer stubborn. I always knew that we shouldn't seek for unnecessary suffering anymore.
The man in black took us out of the mall, crossed the street right in front of it, and entered a coffee shop.
When I went up to the second floor and went inside the door of the private room, the man dressed in black said, "Sir Weld is inside. Please enter!"
Maisie and I looked at each other and walked back and forth in the private room. The private room in the coffee shop was different from the other rooms in the restaurant, which was more elegant and artistic. Through the screen window, we could hear the conversation clearly.
"You haven't come to see me in Greenville for a long time. I thought you had already forgotten me." It was a woman's voice that was speaking. Although the words were frivolous, I still felt annoyed.
Maisie and I came in, opened the screen window, and saw Liam and a woman sitting on both sides of the octagonal sandalwood table.
The woman was wearing a green scarf. Her figure was very exquisite and chic. She was mixing a cocktail elegantly and lithely, and her movements were flowing.
I couldn't help but froze. Making liquor in the coffee shop?
Rich people could be really weird!
Seeing Maisie and I, Liam's eyebrows rose, and his gloomy face expressed something I couldn't understand. "Guys, long time no see!"
Maisie was afraid of him, which was instinctive, but the resentment from the bottom of her heart supported his grim look at Liam. "Liam, why did you bring us here?"
