###Chapter 106 I Do Not Have The Right To Choose
###Chapter 106 I Do Not Have The Right To Choose
"So what?" He looked really cold and pervasive. He sneered and told me, "The appearance of Liam makes you feel that you can choose people who like you and spoil you. So that means that I am no longer so important to you, am I not?"
His words made my heart gush with anger, and I couldn't help but raise my voice, "Yes! Why can you choose what you like and who you like, yet I still have to stick to you?"
"Oh!" The temperature in the air was a few degrees lower. "Ivelle, you think too easily. What are you going to do now? Divorce me? Elope with Liam? I'm telling you, don't dream too high. Don't tell me that you will have my seed in your belly and go out with another man! And even if you weren't pregnant, I still wouldn't agree to a divorce. "
"Jordan, you bastard!" He didn't want to make me feel better, even if I was pregnant. He would rather kill me than make me happy. His long-term grievances and my overdue patience were making me feel exhausted already.
I swept all the lamps and decorations at the head of the bed on the floor. I looked at him angrily and finally confronted him. "Why can you and Nicole act recklessly, but I can't? Jordan, I'm telling you, I don't want this child at all."
Yes, people were capable of saying anything when they were angry.
His face was scarlet and he grabbed me with a cold look in his eyes. "Say it again!"
I stared at him, wanting to vent all my grievances. "I don't want this child at all! Listen clearly, I don't want this child at all!"
I raised my hand and beat my belly with all my strength, sobbing and shouting. "His arrival has ruined everything for me. I don't want to have a baby for you at all. People like you are not worthy to be a father!"
"Ivelle!" His eyes were scarlet and his teeth rattled. "Do you know what you're talking about?"
Shaking off his hand, I smiled. "I know, I know!" There was a fear in my voice.
I was so miserable. My heart felt weary as if several knives were stabbing at the same time. "Jordan, it's okay if you don't want a divorce, but you'd better not interfere in my other personal affairs."
He squinted his eyes and tried to suppress his anger. "Your personal affairs?"
"You and Nicole can, so why not me and Liam?" It was only because I was frustrated that I said it.
He suddenly pushed me into bed, his voice hoarse and patient, "You and Liam? Can do what?"
As he said that, he clapped his hands hard and gave a terrifying moan.
He tore apart all of my clothes in a rude and domineering way. "What has he done to you? How dare he come in contact with you at a close distance like we used to do?"
With that, he went in without foreplay, and I felt a dull pain.
I clenched him on the shoulder, and my body was dry and unresponsive, so it was even more frightening for him to come inside me.
"Jordan, just kill me if you can!" Pinching him on the back, I yelled out.
Tears rolled down on face while I was in pain.
He gasped heavily, with no rhythm or skill at all, but simply relying on his body's anger and instinct. "What a pity for you to be dead. Wouldn't it be funny for you to be just gone?"
I stopped fighting for I suddenly felt worthless. I let go of his hand and stared at the ceiling, biting my lips and waiting for him to finish.
He seemed to notice that I had surrendered, so he had stopped slightly. Perhaps because of what had happened last time, that's why he looked down.
Seeing that nothing was wrong, he frowned and his black eyes fell on my indifferent face.
After a long time, he got up and went into the bathroom. A few minutes later, he came out, brushed his hair, changed his clothes and left without saying a word.
He smashed the bedroom door so loudly that it rang in my ears for a few hours.
When would it end?
I didn't have to go to the office. I was free. I had just come out of the bathroom when Maisie called.
Picking up the phone, I said, "Are you in the countryside yet? Have you already found a place to live?"
"Yeah!" She replied, "Did Jordan pick you up at the station?"
I was surprised that she knew. "Did you tell him that?" No wonder I saw Jordan at the station. She informed him already.
Nicole said, "Since you have decided to go back and live a good life with Jordan, it's necessary to spread the news to people and tell them that no matter what he and Nicole do, you are his legitimate wife after all. Also, you still have to live the rest of your life with him. So Ivelle, since you want to be with him, please live well. Don't feel out of place in your own home. It's very tiring to live like that!"
Of course, I knew her good intentions. Still I couldn't help sighing, "Unfortunately, we just had a fight, and he just slammed the door and left."
"Why are you fighting again?" She was a little speechless. "Can't you just talk about it?"
"What can I say? He can't let go of Nicole, and he doesn't want a divorce. Maisie, how should I make it clear with him?"
"You will get a divorce! It is written in black and white, and no one should care about your own private lives in the future."
I'd like to, but I was afraid that it was not that simple this time. I threw the towel aside. I sat down in the rattan chair and sighed desperately, "I met Liam at the station. He and I got out of the station together, and Jordan saw us at the station gate. Jordan was determined to think that Liam and I have something, and that he will not allow us to have a divorce!"
"Fuck!" She finally broke out and said a curse word out of anger. "What a fucking fate!"
God knew how frustrated I also was!
"What do you think you're going to do?"
Holding the phone, I said helplessly, "I don't know. In this situation, I just hope to have a good delivery for my baby."
My belly was getting bigger, and there was no reason for him not to be born. Moreover, Liam was right. I was an isolated island and I have no sense of belongingness at all.
This child was the only one who can reassure me. I have no reason not to give birth to him. I shouldn't just think about Jordan.
This child was my only salvation!
After hanging up Maisie's call, it was dark in the room. A knock came on the door.
When I opened the door, it was Marcela. She held the freshly-boiled chicken soup in her hand and looked at me and asked, "Are you hungry? My husband asked me to make chicken soup and said I should offer it to you. This would be good for you."
After eating late at noon, Liam pressed me to eat more earlier. I didn't have much appetite at that time, but looking at Marcela with a smile, I couldn't say no to her offer.
I said, "Well, thank you, Marcela! I will eat well."
Reaching for the soup in her hand, she hurriedly said, "Don't serve it, let me do it. It's too hot. Worry about your hand!"
She put the chicken soup on the bedroom table, wiped her hands, looked at me and said, "Did you and your husband have a fight?"
There was so much noise just now that it was normal for her to hear it downstairs.
I nodded, went to the table and sat down. "This is delicious!" I said faintly.
She sighed and said helplessly, "You young people are just a little impatient. If there's anything you can't sit down and talk about calmly, you must quarrel and hurt one another!"
I smiled and did not say much anymore. The matter between husband and wife was different for every couple. As much as Marcela wanted to help, they have personal issues that they have to deal with by themselves.
"Ivelle!" She sat next to me, holding my hand and said painstakingly, "You've been in Jordan's house for almost three years. I watched him grow up. He is impatient and reticent. He is unwilling to say a lot of things, but most of them are kept in his heart."
