###Chapter 136 Each Had Its Own Way To Go
"I like it when I eat it!" Jon was in a good mood, but he only picked up food for him from time to time while looking particularly ambiguous.
It was not a good time to eat a meal. Originally, Brad Silverman had to be hospitalized, but he did not want to stay there any longer, so he invited a private doctor to check him at home, instead. Maisie Rogers was almost better, so he naturally did not want to be hospitalized as well.
Jon threw his car keys and said, "I'm heading back now, too. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. I'll gladly answer and entertain them."
Jordan and Ivelle Astley had to catch a plane, so they went straight back to the villa to pack up their things.
Meanwhile, when they arrived at the capital, it was already ten o'clock in the evening. And someone at the airport was waiting outside for them with a black and red flag.
Jordan pushed the suitcases and pulled Ivelle as well. A middle-aged man got out of the car and greeted them respectfully, "Mr. and Mrs. Astley!"
Jordan nodded at him and handed him the suitcase. After that, he then helped Ivelle get into the car. She was a little sleepy so she just obliviously listened to Jordan who said that the man they were with was Amber, the housekeeper of his aunt's house. In response, she nodded slightly and soon fell asleep on Jordan' shoulder. Perhaps because they had been on the trip for a long time and coupled with the rush during the day, she slept extremely soundly.
She did not even know how Jordan brought her to bed that night. When she woke up the next day, she was a bit confused. Ivelle looked at the familiar furnitures in the room and paused thoughtfully. Jordan and her had already arrived in the capital yesterday so why did it seem familiar to her? Although she noticed that the furnishings in the bedroom were the same as those in the Hempstead villa, the things here were quiet and slightly updated, and they were also basically untouched and less popular. Probably because they had just been done.
After lying in bed to ease her sleepiness for a couple of minutes, she then got up. The configuration in the bedroom was the same as that in the villa. Even the washing signs were exactly the same. Jordan seemed to arranged these in accordance with her habits and the routines she used to do. When she came out of the bathroom, Ivelle saw him standing in the bedroom in a black suit. She smiled when he turned to her and asked, "Did you sleep well last night?"
Ivelle nodded in response and looked at his black bespoke suit and paused for a moment before saying, "You should try another color! Why don't you try something new?" Ivelle thought of the suits that she had bought him with other colors before, but almost all of them hung in the closet untouched.
He raised his eyebrows and came up to her. "Okay. Why don't we try it?" He sexily told her before he attempted to pull Ivelle out of the bedroom. But she was stunned for a moment when she realized that she just woke up. He obviously noticed Ivelle's reaction, so he laughed and told her, "Before that, you also have to change your clothes and you go ahead to take your meal for breakfast first, and we'll change it later!"
She frowned at his answer and asked, "Aren't we at your aunt's?"
He nodded and took her by the hand. "Yes, but there are so many noisy people over there. I bought a separate house because I am afraid you can't sleep well. The bedroom is made entirely the same as that in Hempstead, but the area here is much larger than that. It will also be convenient for the children to play in the large grounds here who will come out in the future."
He was so thoughtful that he never failed to surprise Ivelle. A few warm feelings welled up in her heart. She smiled and asked him, "Is Mrs. Yeardly here, too?"
"No!" Jordan was pulling her out of the bedroom when he said, "Hempstead needs to be taken care of. I hired hourly workers, doctors and nannies, all living in the next building here."
Ivelle did not understand what he meant at first, but later she learned that the villa purchased by Jordan belonged to the re-examination villa and to the Western elegant style, not to mention its large area. There were always three floors, and the design of the main building was two floors. That was, the one where Jordan and Ivelle lived, the other two buildings were occupied by the doctors, and the aunts who cleaned the house also had several private bodyguards.
The flowers and plants of the season were planted in the front and backyard. The back yard was mostly fruit trees and pipa, the front yard has a rockery small bridge and flowing water. There were also fruits and vegetables of the season that were seen around the place. It was really big. After breakfast, Jordan took Ivelle a tour around the yard. Then he asked her to change her clothes already as he said to her that he was going to take Ivelle to visit her aunt.
This was her first visit at the capital. As the provincial capital, the prosperity of the place was full of historical memories, elegance and nobility, as well as the prosperity of the new era.
The problem in the big city was probably the traffic jam. Jordan was holding the steering wheel with one hand while tapping the it with his fingertips. Ivelle, on the other hand, looked at the scenery outside the window and kept herself a little distracted. She looked at it calmly, but she suddenly panicked. She thought that she had never met Jordan's aunt. Like, ever!
The natural development park in the city center where every inch of land was rich, was resided with people who were either rich or luxurious, and their branded cars were parked in the parking lot like a somewhat show off of each prominent brands of cars.
When Ivelle got out of the car, she looked up at the shrubs and precious trees around, and there was a lotus pond in the forest which was full of white and pink water lilies. And those were particularly eye-catching! Jordan dragged her along the cobblestone path and walked for a moment to the steps before she saw a large Western-style villa which was very elegant and dignified.
During her two years with Jordan, Ivelle had seen many luxurious villas, and the villas in front of her were too prominent, which was inevitably the most striking and shocking.
At the gate, there stood an elegant, calm chrysanthemum woman, who was dressed in a dark and long embroidered dress with daisies. She looked like she was at her mid-thirties.
When she saw Jordan and Ivelle, she greeted them with a warm smile, with some joy evident on her eyebrows. "I have been informed that you would arrive here in the morning, so I have prepared us meals for breakfast and waited for you for a long time, but now I can only have lunch with you."
The woman seemed to be still in her calm form and anger was not heard on her voice as she said it to them.
"It's a little late for the traffic jam!" Jordan opened his mouth to speak while his eyes were light.
He looked at Ivelle and held her in his big hand. He looked back at the woman and said, "By the way, this is Ivelle Astley. She is my wife."
The woman's smile grew wider and wider. I was shocked when she pulled me and said, "It really is the woman chosen by your father. The one who is generous and elegant and looks so beautiful with her children."
Ivelle awkwardly smiled and said to her, "Hello, aunt!"
Mr. Astley had three children on his own. He had two sons and a daughter. Unfortunately, the eldest son died at a young age, leaving him with his other son. His two sons were happy and they did not like to hang out in public places. His little daughter, Alice Astley, was rarely known and shown by other people.
Implicit in each other, his aunt took Ivelle and Jordan into the villa. There were white walls everywhere and looking at the building, it was extremely simple. Even the use of materials and design were top-notch!
Next to the villa, there was an open-air garden. Under the sunshade, a man was drinking a cup of tea and was reading. There was also a gray Tibetan mastiff lying on the grass next to his feet. Ivelle did not like dogs, especially when she looked at frightening dogs like that one.
She instinctively drew herself behind Jordan's body and held his elbow because she was terrified at the sight of the dog. Noticing her movements, Jordan looked at her with confusing eyes.
"Meet Aaron Badger, your uncle's child." The man named 'Aaron' looked at Jordan and smiled. "I'm as old as you are!"
Jordan only nodded and said no more.
From the moment Ivelle stepped into this villa, she had a strange feeling. Alice looked like she was only a few years older than Jordan. She introduced Aaron as "your Uncle Badger's son."
Jordan never told her any information about Alice. Although she had doubts in her heart at that time, it was difficult for her to ask more questions.
When she entered the hall, she could not help looking back at Aaron who was on the open-air balcony. The man looked extremely outstanding on his beige casual clothes as his top, gray casual pants at the bottom and white household slippers. It was easy to match, but with a different temperament. From a distance, it made people feel reserved and elegant.
