###Chapter 143 How Did You Get Out Of The Hospital
###Chapter 143 How Did You Get Out Of The Hospital
After three days of observation in the hospital, Ivelle called Jordan and wanted him to pick her up. However, his phone only rang for a long time.
By the time she called again, Jordan's phone had been turned off.
Helplessly, she had to let Harper go through the discharge formalities and take a taxi back home.
"Mrs. Astley, although the hospital allows you to be discharged from the hospital, you still have to pay attention to the fact that the fetus can't be affected at all now. You have to take good care of the baby when you get home."
As she opened her mouth, Harper generally packed up her things and continued. "Look, your belly is getting bigger every day and your due date is coming. If you don't like being in the hospital, I think there should be more security in the hospital!"
She listened to her nagging quietly, thought about why Jordan didn't answer his phone. She was worried that it was not so easy for Astley to gain a foothold in the capital.
He always goes out early and comes back late recently and Ivelle doesn't know what's going on. She can't do anything like this right now that made her a lot more discouraged.
Harper packed up her things, asked the bodyguard to move everything to the car, supported her, and said. "You have to take medicine when you go back these days and you can't forget about taking it."
She nodded in agreement. While they waited for the elevator, her cell phone rang. She answered the phone, but it was a little quiet for a while.
The elevator door opened and it was full of people. Harper was on the phone, too. When she saw that Ivelle wanted to go in, she grabbed her and said. "Ma'am, we're waiting for the next one. It's too crowded. It's not safe!"
She looked at the crowd densely packed in it and found that it was really crowded, so they might as well wait for the next one.
Fortunately, it didn't take long for the next elevator to come. Harper supported her and said. "Mr. Astley told you not to rush out of the hospital for a few days before it was safe to observe in the hospital!"
She shook her head. "Did he just call you?"
She nodded. "I called him, but there was no answer. He must have left it at home when he came to the hospital!"
Ivelle answered but didn't say much and the elevator door opened.
People were coming and going at the door of the hospital hall. Harper was afraid that Ivelle would be bumped into, so she helped her and whispered. "The hospital in this capital is different from Hempstead. There are many people, so it's easy to bump into anybody if you're not careful!"
Ivelle nodded and looked up at the busy nurse at the information desk. She couldn't help nodding in agreement to what Harper said. Indeed, there were so many people in the best private hospital in the capital, not to mention the public hospital.
"Why, isn't that Miss Biden? Why did she come to the hospital?" Harper opened her mouth and looked in the direction of the laboratory.
Ivelle looked sideways at the laboratory and saw that Nicole was taking blood tests. She couldn't help but be stupefied. 'What happened to her? Why did she want to take a blood test?'
"Ma'am, I'll go and say hello to Miss Biden." Harper opened her mouth, helped Ivelle to sit in the rest area, and walked in the direction of Nicole gladly.
At first, she didn't realize that what Miss Biden in her mouth said was Nicole. After Ivelle realized that Nicole returned to Mo's house, didn't she change her surname?
What bugged her the most is why do Harper and Nicole know each other? 'Doesn't it look strange?'
Looking at the two people talking with a smile, Nicole finished drawing blood, pressed the part where the blood was drawn with a cotton swab, and looked in Ivelle's direction.
When she saw that Harper didn't know what to say, they went in her direction.
"Ivelle, long time no see!" Nicole opened her mouth gladly and greeted her as she smiled proudly.
She doesn't know how she got this sense of superiority. Ivelle nodded slightly to acknowledged her and said to Harper. "It's getting late. We should go!"
Harper didn't seem to hear the impatience in my words and said with a smile. "Miss Biden used to know Jordan's wife. What a coincidence!"
"Nicole, please go to the four windows to pick up your B-ultrasound order." The broadcast of the ultrasound department began to ring.
Nicole looked at Harper with a smile and said. "Auntie Harper, please help me get the B-ultrasound order. Ivelle and I haven't seen each other for a long time. I want to talk!"
Harper looked at his boss' wife and said with a smile. "Alright, that's good!" With that, she went to get the B-ultrasound list.
Nicole and Ivelle had nothing to talk about. She took a faint look at her and then went to one side to have a rest and sat on it.
Nicole did not seem to care about her indifference. She glanced at Ivelle and did it very naturally like there's no bad blood between her and Ivelle. Her eyes fell on her stomach. With a triumphant smile, she spoke. "Seeing that your belly is about to give birth, it looks like you can't attend my birthday party. Jordan won't take you there."
'Birthday party?' Ivelle was curious.
"Just say the reason why you want to talk to me." Ivelle opened her mouth and her voice was colder. She didn't want Nicole to beat around the bush.
Originally, there was nothing to say to her. She walked around with her, mostly because of Jordan.
When she saw Ivelle like this and reacted that way, she didn't get angry and raised her eyebrows instead. She just smiled and said. "What's your hurry for? We can be regarded as old acquaintances, how can you be mean that you reject me so much? Maybe in the future, your child and mine will have to be matched as brother and sister."
"What do you mean, Nicole?" Ivelle was aggrieved, she doesn't know what Nicole meant by the match between brother and sister.
She chuckled and stopped talking.
However, Harper ran over with a list of B-ultrasound and handed it to her. "I heard that Miss Biden was getting engaged a few days ago." She said. "it didn't take long to have it. Congratulations!"
'Got it? Got what?' Ivelle doesn't like the feeling of being the only one who doesn't know what's going around her.
Nicole got the result of the B-ultrasound list with a smile all over her face. After saying thank you to Harper, she looked at Ivelle and said. "Then, we'll talk about it another day. I have to go back and talk to my fiance about this happy event."
When she looked at her happy back, Ivelle looked at Harper. "Is she pregnant?"
Harper nodded and said with a smile. "It takes two weeks and only a few days. It seems that Miss Biden has also found a good place to belong."
She nodded but thought of Nicole's sentence and what she meant about the child in her belly can be matched as brother and sister in the future.
When she got on the car, she looked out of the window in a daze for a long time before she looked at Harper and asked. "Harper, have you and Miss Blakely known each other for a long time?"
Harper was stupefied and said. "Do you mean Miss Biden? Not for a long time. I used to take care of Father Mo at the Mo family. Later, after Mr. Mo left, I stayed with the Mo family and there were many nannies in their family. Later, when I heard that Mr. Astley came to the capital to find a babysitter, Miss Biden recommended me to come and take care of you. "
"Did Nicole recommend you?"
She nodded and smiled. "I thought it was just Mr. Astley and Miss Biden who knew each other, but I didn't think you all knew each other?"
After a pause, she said. "By the way, Miss Biden's birthday is coming soon. She will have the first birthday party of the Mo family. I heard that the Biden family is going to hold a party together with the marriage banquet. It should be very grand. Ma'am, you and your husband should both be there!"
Ivelle smiled and shook her head. "I shouldn't go. I'm too pregnant and I can't just run around!"
She also nodded. "Yes, the older generation said that if you chose happiness without sacrifice, you are going to suffer. You are eight months pregnant, so you really shouldn't go. Mrs. Astley, you and Miss Biden seem to have the same birthday and Mr. Astley should not go then."
If Harper didn't say that, Ivelle forgot that she and Nicole had the same birthday.
She just smiled and said. "It's still early. We'll see."
After a pause, she couldn't help but say. "You just said Nicole is getting engaged. Do you know who she is engaged to?"
She shook her head. "I don't know. It's not good for us to participate too much in these big families' issues. We just hear it occasionally during chat and the details are not very clear."
