###Chapter 147 Acquisition Of All Jewelry Companies
###Chapter 147 Acquisition Of All Jewelry Companies
Ivelle frowned a little irritated. "Jordan, you go and mind about your own affairs. I am not in the mood to quarrel with you now!"
He looked dreadfully gloomy. "Don't you have time to quarrel with me?" His voice was dreadfully cold. "What, do you have time to cherish the aftertaste and appreciate the garbage sent to you by Liam?"
Because he was angry, the strength of his body as a man was so overpowering that he pressed on her so hard that Ivell could hardly breathe. "Jordan, you're hurting me!"
He did not let go but softened his strength. "Do you still know the pain?"
This man is simply inexplicable. She was displeased and pushed him away. "Jordan, these things may be rubbish to you, but they are very precious to me!"
She didn't bother to tell him more, so Ivelle turned around and looked for another ring.
Just like what she thought, Liam did put the ring in the cake and made several things clear and clean.
However, Ivelle's mood did not recover much. She saw Jordan looking at her coldly in the living room. She knew he was angry and opened his mouth and said. "These things--"
Before he finished what he was about to say, he put his cell phone to his ear and answered in a cold voice. "Felix, go and buy all the silver, gold ornaments, and jade ornaments in the capital. Bring all the latest designs this year to the villa in the Southern District."
She doesn't know what the other end of the phone said.
Jordan said in a particularly cold voice. "Do as I say!"
Then, he hung up the phone.
As she stared incredulously at Jordan, Ivelle really couldn't find an adjective to describe him for a moment. Finally, she went to him and sat down. She watched him give him orders and said. "Jordan Astley, you are arrogant!"
For a while, she thought that she just had to change careers. 'What kind of acquisitions am I going to do?' She wondered.
He raised his eyebrow and looked at her. "Throw away all the rubbish that Liam gave you. What do you want? Tell me and I'll give it to you!"
She tilted her mouth and Ivelle really didn't know what to say. Finally, Ivelle sarcastically answered him. "Master Astley is rich and powerful. You are so great!"
After looking at what she had in her hand, it seemed that it was indeed worthless. However, it is of great value. She cherished it extremely and has a deep sentimental value in her heart.
Ivelle doesn't want to argue with him anymore and just said nonchalantly. "In junior high school, I only had 50 dollars a month for meals. At that time there were a lot of girls in school who wore necklaces and bracelets around their necks or hands, but I have nothing."
When she spoke of this and reminisced about the past, Ivelle sighed. "I like to have those things too, but I can't ask for money to buy them from my grandmother. So, what I did is I went to move things for my uncle in the cafeteria and earned a few hundred dollars. Later, I bought this necklace for myself and this belt for Liam. Also, I bought this ring for grandma."
She looked at his face who was full of guilt. She put all three things on the coffee table and continued. "Maybe in your opinion, these things on the table are not valuable. But for me, these things are the result of my hard work that has a great sentimental value from my past. It's a symbol of my persistence!"
As Jordan intently listened to what Ivelle just said, he looked at her with an unfathomable emotion that she could not see clearly in his eyes. "What you want in the future, tell me directly. As long as you want anything, I will give it to you!"
She used to be very unhappy and made a while ago, but as soon as Jordan spoke, Ivelle wanted to laugh. She recently found that Jordan's IQ sometimes was basically zero.
Felix's efficiency can really be described as top-notched. He took a bunch of people into the villa in an hour.
Several people carried exquisite suitcases in their hands.
Felix looked at Jordan with the same iceberg face. "Boss Astley, these are the latest ornaments this year!"
Jordan looked at her and raised his eyebrows. "Go pick and see what you like and say it to me."
Ivelle felt a little cramp in her eyes. She looked at Felix and asked. "Is it expensive for this jewelry to be bought by an average employee? Forgive me for being tacky, but I am a realist and basically have no knowledge of these luxuries."
Felix looked at Ivelle with a cold face and said. "These things are all made by famous masters. After patient and meticulous polishing, the average price of each is more than 20 million dollars!"
Ivelle froze and her mouth was open. She looked at Jordan and said very solemnly. "Jordan, I don't like these things. Let them go back and take their jewelry back!"
Who in their right mind would spend 20 million dollars just for jewelry? This amount of money could provide them tons of food to eat too much. Ivelle would never spend this ridiculous amount of money.
Jordan frowned. "Don't you like it?" He scanned all the jewelry and then began to wait for her answer.
She nodded and said seriously. "Well, I don't like it!"
"Say what you want!" He opened his mouth, then looked at Felix and said. "Next time, be patient, and don't waste your energy."
Felix was stunned but his face remained particularly serious.
Ivelle heard and knew what he meant because she grew familiar with these men for she spent two years with them. Ivelle was obviously beating Felix for being efficient in her thoughts.
Felix asked the people he brought with him to put all their things and tidied down. He then told some trifles and then left.
When she looked at the jewelry left behind, Ivelle took a bewildered look at Jordan annoyed, and said. "Master Astley is really arrogant!"
Then, he turned and went back to the bedroom.
Ivelle doesn't have the habit of wearing jewelry. For her, there is no difference between these expensive things left behind and the sterling ring, necklace, and belt that she brought in the past. She doesn't know how to complain about Jordan's action because he just bought such wasteful craftsmanship.
Fortunately, Jordan was no longer angry with the things sent by Liam. It would be so strange if he asked Ivelle why did she have to buy him a belt!
"Jordan, if you have a problem with your mind, you can go to Dr. Brad Silverman. Don't mess around here!"
'What's the requirement for being mentally handicapped?' Ivelle thought.
"If you can make money to buy a belt for Liam, why can't you buy something for me? I'm your husband, and he's just your nominal brother." That came out of his mouth but why does it sound so awkward?
Ivelle laughed. "Are you still my nominal husband? Why should I buy it for you? Haven't you bothered to take a look at the clothes I bought you before?"
"Clothes?" He looked a little surprised. "When did you buy it?"
"I always buy it for you when we are in the villa in Hempstead, but you never wear it. The last time Dr. Brad's clothes were wet, I gave them to him because you didn't wear them anyway."
"Ivelle, don't you know where my clothes are usually put?"
She nodded. "I know!"
So what? His cloakroom is all black and white. The clothes she bought are never of the same grade as his clothes. Ivelle puts them in his cloakroom, but he doesn't know how to touch them.
He glared at her. "Who did you give it back to?"
She shook my head. "No more asking! I won't tell you." She teased and ran away.
"Come back!"
'Me? Come back?' That's amazing. How can he say that.'
"Jordan, if you have the face, go and ask for it. I'm not that thick-skinned!" If he can say he wants back what Ivelle gave away, if everything else is alright, it would be really awesome.
He took the phone out directly, then dialed on it. Ivelle looked at him seriously. She couldn't help but ask him. "Do you really want it?"
He raised his eyebrows and said. "Why can't I have my stuff?"
"I? Bold as brass!"
