###Chapter 211 Men Who Say Things With Strength - Part 5
I sneered, pulled the tissue, and wiped the coffee off my face. "Innocent? If Caldwell Blakeley was innocent, then those that supported him were more innocent. Don't you know why he was sentenced to death? Did you think that Joseph Wesley was innocent? Wasn't it that the money he stole killed a lot of people? How many innocent people do you think there were that supported a man like him who was powerful? What was even more ridiculous was that you think that your mother is innocent. Do you know how she killed my baby? She has climbed to the top all these years, but have you ever thought the dirty works that she has done just to get there?"
As I was talking, I smiled coldly. "As for your brother, yes, he was smart and knew that he was running out of time, so he left you with Jordan. His death was no one's fault, after all, he deserved it. He ruined Jordan's life. If you truly loved Jordan, have you ever thought of asking him to love you back?"
As Nicole bit her lips, I looked at her and smiled, "You also knew that Jordan didn't like it. But because of the responsibility that your brother left Jordan and no matter how much he hated and disliked you, he still took care of you. He took care of you because he promised your brother that he would take care of you no matter what happened. Your brother was really ruthless. Because of one word, he ruined Jordan's life. Do you still think he was innocent?"
"You're talking nonsense!" She started getting emotional. "That's not true! If you didn't show up, Jordan would have married me willingly. It was all your fault! You, being alive, made it difficult for him!"
I laughed, "Are you embarrassed? If he were firm enough, would Grandpa Astley ask him to marry me? With his character, do you think grandpa would force him to marry me? It has only been three years, yet he can't let me go. What about you? Do the math yourself. How many years have you been following him around, yet he still didn't want to marry you? If he really treated you like his girlfriend, he would have married you already. He wouldn't have waited for me to show up, would he?"
"You!" Nicole burst into tears. I knew that every word I said was like knives that stabbed her weakness.
"Leave my mother alone. You have accomplished your goal. I wouldn't trouble and partake in your marriage. I'll leave you guys alone. Just leave my mother and my Biden family alone. We have nothing to do with each other. May you and Jordan have a good life."
Nicole was in a bad mood. In fact, she knew in her heart that I would not leave Erin alone, but she begged me anyway.
Maybe she really loved Jordan and paid her sincerity and love. Maybe she just craved Jordan's kindness to her, and all this had nothing to do with me.
I looked at her and said, "I will live a good life with Jordan. Thank you very much for leaving me and Jordan alone. But for your mother, I will not leave her alone. Last but not the least, this was just the start. There is still a long way to go."
Nicole looked pale and somewhat looked defeated. "Ivelle, I will be leaving you guys alone, but why do you still have to go through with your plan? You may be able to bear it for ten years, but could you really bear with me with interfering your marriage for the rest of your life?"
My lips touched the fingertips of my hand. Nicole was right. Jordan's responsibility to Nicole was like one of those disgusting agreement. If Nicole happened to get into an accident, Jordan would be bound by his morality to take care of Nicole.
I looked at her and sneered, "Nicole, if you don't mind not being happy for the rest of your life, I can put up with that. At least I have Jordan to accompany me at night. You know very well that Jordan has no feelings for you. You're not even a mistress, yet you're willing to take care of him."
Looking at her pale face, I continued to say, "You only affect us sometimes, but you're different. You have spent your whole life meaninglessly troubling us. If you leave Jordan alone, you'll feel different. You have a beautiful family and other people can make you happy. Kian has been following you around for as long as I can remember, yet you don't acknowledge him. Even if Erin loses her reputation and loses everything, you will still be able to take care of her. The Biden family has connections. So, even if I make a move, I won't be able to defeat them. So, as long as you leave us alone, I won't be able to hurt you."
This was true. Even if I wanted to hurt her, I could only threaten her once she leaves us alone. But since she was stubborn and obsessed with Jordan, she would not be terrible. Her attitude had nothing to do with love.
I was sure of that.
She looked deeply and shook her head. "No, I won't leave him alone. Since you won't let my mother go, then we'll fight until the end. If you don't make me feel better, I won't make you feel better. Ivelle, you can have nothing, and I'll make sure of that. I want it all, just as simple as that."
I sneered and shrugged. "Then I'll wait and see. We'll fight to the end."
Nicole was greedy and wanted everything. She was right. I didn't want anything. There was nothing that I wanted. What was there for me to want?
I didn't notice that Nicole left already. I sat in the coffee shop with a heavy heart. For Nicole, what I lost was only a child and the pain gradually passed after a while.
But for me, what I lost was the child I depended on. She had parents and relatives that protected her, but I had no one.
The spilled coffee on my body dried up, so I was a little embarrassed. I should head back to the company after leaving for a long time.
I just got up and was caught off guard by the man who didn't know when to stand next to me.
I was stupefied for a moment. Didn't he have something to do?
"You. What are you doing here? " I didn't look at him and was ready to leave with my bag.
Jordan squinted and his eyes very dark. "Who were you here with just now?"
"No one!" I replied and looked around. I saw that Brad and Kian had just found a parking spot not far away. it seemed that the three men had just arrived.
He lowered his eyes. "How do you explain the coffee on your clothes?"
The coffee stain was already dry, but there were still marks. I frowned and said casually, "I did it by accident."
He sneered and looked at me like an idiot. "You spilled coffee on yourself?"
