###Chapter 234 Halfway Enemy Named Alice – Part 6
Jordan's face grew darker and darker and it was frighteningly cold.
"Why should you be so bitter? At least what I'm holding in my arms is something you can't touch for the rest of your life. I'm much more practical than your wishful thinking!"
The man's mouth was poisonous enough. When he hung up the phone, Jordan raised his hand and tucked the hair behind Ivelle's ear, but there was no sign of anger in his eyes. He just said. "I'll take you to the hospital tomorrow."
She pursed my lips. Ivelle felt tired so she just closed her eyes and prepared to rest.
She slept soundly that night.
The next day, she woke up energized.
Jordan already changed his clothes in the bedroom and his muscular body sat on the vanity chair beside their bed. Ivelle was clueless whether he was working or looking up information on the laptop.
When he saw her awake, he put down his laptop, got up, and walked up to her. He stooped on Ivelle's forehead and kissed her. Jordan sweetly said. "Good morning, do you want to lie down for a while?"
She frowned. "What's the matter?"
He raised his eyebrows. "It was agreed yesterday that we would go to see a doctor today."
"No! Although Aaron is gone, I am still Badger's employee after all. Samson's Electronics is the project I talked about, so there is no reason for me to give it up halfway."
He frowned and took her in his arms. He kissed Ivelle and continued to stare at her with adoration in his eyes. "Get up and wash first."
She finally had a good night's sleep and her mind was quite clear. She moved away from his body, got up and got out of bed, and directly went straight into the bathroom.
While brushing her teeth, she vaguely heard someone knock at the bedroom door. She thought that it should be Marcela who came up to ask them for breakfast.
After washing, Ivell went out and was surprised the moment that she saw Nicole and Jordan hugged each other. Ivelle was aware of how shameless Nicole could be just to get what she wants. She did not know what kind of stimulation she had received as the crying woman audaciously hugged her husband at this time.
When she looked at this couple of lovers, she could not help but smirked and simply did not rush to do anything else. She clasped her hands around while observing and looked at the next movements of the two people who were immoral enough who can hug at the door of their matrimonial bedroom.
Jordan's face was not very good. Since his back was turned against Ivelle, he did not see her coming out of the bathroom and. He pushed Nicole away and indifference reeked from his vibe. "You have been in Badger's house for at least half a year. What the powerful family of Badger has given you are reserve and elegance. Why have you become so disrespectful and self-deprecating now?"
Nicole, who was pushed away by Jordan, naturally saw that Ivelle had come out of the bathroom. Her pair of good-looking eyebrows narrowed slightly and her eyes fell on Jordan's body.
Her eyes swelled up with tears. "Jordan, you always know my feelings for you. You promised my brother to take care of me. Your kindness to me is not because of responsibility, but because you were attracted to me. Now you can't let go of Ivelle because of your responsibility and debt to her. You don't love her at all, do you?"
She raised her eyebrow. 'Is this is intended to provoke Jordan to say something to hurt me?'
Jordan's voice was cold and said indifferently. "It has nothing to do with you. Don't come here again."
"If you don't answer me directly, it means you don't love Ivelle at all, right?" Nicole looked at him and continued. "On the night of my birthday, you knew that it was also her birthday, but you chose to come to Badger's because, in your heart, I was more important than her, right?"
Jordan seemed furious and angry, and his voice was louder. With a warning, she firmly said to Nicole. "That's enough!"
Nicole was not afraid of death at all and continued. "If you went to celebrate Ivelle's birthday that night, my mother had no chance to do it to her. To be honest, it was because you didn't love her that she went alone when she was in labor. Finally, my mother had a chance to harm her. My mother was the mastermind of the child's death and you were an accomplice."
Nicole spoke with mockery and fixed her eyes on Jordan. "Jordan, if you choose to stay with Ivelle and take care of her because of guilt, you will eventually hurt her. You know that you are not good and do not love her. You will be in pain for the rest of your life, and so will she!"
Jordan, whose back was turned against Ivelle, totally went livid at the mention of his unborn child's death. Ivelle could not see his expression clearly, but it was evident in his voice that he was enraged. With a faint sneer, he said. "A melon that is forced to harvest is not sweet, but to quench our thirst. It really doesn't matter whether we are happy or not. The important thing is as long as you are unhappy, I think it's enough for me to be happy." Ivelle figuratively tried to enlighten Nicole but it was futile.
Hearing her voice, Jordan turned around and squinted his eyes slightly. "Are you done?"
She nodded, looked at him, then looked at Nicole. She pulled out an amiable smile and said with a friendly tone. "Good morning, you two need to release your energy? Will you excuse me for a moment and make room for you two?"
Jordan frowned and looked very pale. "Ivelle!" Her name was called with a strong warning.
She just shrugged but didn't feel angry and just responded casually. "Come on, you two can have a good chat. I'll go first."
However, before she could take two steps, Jordan stopped her and grabbed her wrist. "Don't lose your temper, huh?" She pursed her lips and got a little upset.
Ivelle wanted to hurt him, but when she saw him talked apathetically to Nicole, he said coldly. "Miss Blakely, do you need me to ask you out?"
His words are coated with thick unfriendliness.
Nicole's face was turned aghast. Her face paled and she tried to open her mouth. Her eyes were red and moistened with unshed tears, and had intended to say something. However, when she saw that Jordan's face was frighteningly blank, she said nothing. She just glared at Ivelle angrily and went out.
In the big bedroom, Jordan and Ivelle were left behind. He looked at her with a little helplessness in her eyes. "How long have you been listening?"
She shrugged. "I don't know!"
He scratched his lips. "Did that make you angry?"
She seemed to be in a bad mood and said sarcastically. "My birthday became the anniversary of my child's death. What a pity!"
Maybe Jordan didn't expect Ivelle to say this, or maybe her words stung him but he remained as his usual self. He put his arms around her, tightened his embrace, and pressed Ivelle's head against his heart. "She won't be easy forgiven." He said.
'Who is it? Nicole? Or Erin?'Ivelle didn't ask, just faintly let him hold her.
"Jordan, I'm hungry. Can you let go of me?" It was so hard for her to be held by him that she couldn't help but open her mouth.
He paused slightly, let Ivelle go, and pulled her downstairs.
She thought that Nicole had gone back, but she was still there. This woman has a thick face.
In the kitchen hall, Alice and Nicole were chatting and they saw Ivelle and Jordan coming down.
Alice smiled and got up. She walked up to the husband and wife and asked. "Jordan, aren't you going to a meeting today? Why are you up so late? Marcela has prepared your favorite soup, Pumpkin Porridge. Have a drink. Nicole and I will go to Astley with you later."
While talking, Alice squeezed Ivelle from Jordan away and hurriedly dragged him with a brisk pace. Ivelle faintly followed behind them.
Alice pressed Jordan on the seat next to Nicole and said to Marcela in the kitchen. "Sister Marcela, please give Jordan a bowl of Pumpkin Porridge."
Then, she watched Nicole and smiled happily at her. "Of course I know his favorite. When Jordan came back from school when she was a child, he saw Marcela cooking Pumpkin Porridge in the kitchen. As a result, he drank it all by himself. Later, when Marcela came back and saw that it was gone, she thought it was burnt!"
