###Chapter 235 Halfway Enemy Named Alice – Part 7
Nicole watched Jordan move his body and said with a smile. "Is that really the case? Jordan, I didn't know you like that food very much."
Ivelle found a seat and sat down. Her chin rested in her hands lazily and said with all sorts of boredom. "At what age did Aunt Alice leave home?"
Alice didn't answer her, but Jordan said. "When I was fifteen years old."
Ivelle raised her eyebrow. "Grandpa said that when your parents had an accident when you were five years old, he sent you to M country until you were 20 years old. So, how could you eat a pot of porridge all by yourself when you were five years old? Is it because the ceramic pot is small or is it because Jordan can eat so much when he was just five years old?"
Jordan squinted as humor danced in his eyes. He looked at Ivelle and said. "The last thing I like to eat is Pumpkin Porridge."
The implication of what he said was 'what Alice said is nonsense.'
Ivelle shrugged her shoulders and glanced at Alice who was pale and embarrassed. She picked up Rice Congee which Marcela had just brought to her and pushed it to Jordan. She said. "Go ahead. I have something to do after eating."
Alice probably felt uncomfortable and didn't want to make Ivelle happy. She looked at Jordan and said. "Jordan, Nicole, and I are going to Astley's Company later. Why don't you take us there by the way?"
Jordan took a light sip of porridge and looked at her with no expression. "It's not on my way."
"You're all going to Astley, so how else can it be not on the way?" Alice's face was already bad.
Nicole never opened her mouth, but his voice was meek and soft. "Brother Jordan, do you not want to see me?"
Jordan looked up at her and nodded solemnly. "Yes!"
Ivelle wanted to laugh but braced herself.
Nicole had some grievances in her expression and her eyes were red. She got up and said. "Then I won't bother anymore."
With that, she was about to walk out of the door, but she was stopped by Alice. "Child, can't you hear the joke in his voice? He's kidding you. Where are you going?"
With that, Alice dragged her to the dinner table. Alice was an elderly woman after all. She looked at Jordan and inquired. "Where are you going later? How could it not be on the way?"
Jordan seemed a little impatient. He put down his bowl and answered his aunt briefly. "Something's wrong!"
When he saw that Ivelle had taken a few mouthfuls, he stopped eating and frowned. "Don't you like it?"
She shook her head. "It tastes good, but it's a little noisy." She said honestly.
Alice was not happy at all, but when she heard this can't help but say. "Ivelle, you are also the matriarch of the Astley family. What do you mean by that? Since your aunt is in trouble, can't I come and stay with you for a few days? Are you going to kick me out? "
It was so funny that Ivelle couldn't eat at all. "Aunt Alice, I also know that you are an elder. In the 21 century, no elder would have given the younger generation such a blatant mistress, right?"
"Mistress?" Alice frowned. "Ivelle, what are you talking about?"
Ivelle raised her eyebrow and said tauntingly. "Instead of saying that she was a mistress, are you going to set up a new lover for Jordan?"
Seeing that there was no room for Ivelle to say this, Alice looked at her with a cold expression on her face incredulously asked. "Ivelle, what are you talking about?"
Ivelle laughed. "Aren't you aware? How come I have become the one who talks nonsense? As an elder, don't you know that Nicole admires Jordan? I don't know if she wants to marry Jordan. What is your relationship with Nicole? What's your intention when you brought her in? Are you going to let her get him first so that Jordan and I can divorce?" With a fire in her eyes, Ivelle called her out straightforwardly.
She was a little emotional as she looked at Alice and continued. "Auntie, if you don't like me, you can just say that Jordan and I should divorce at any time. You don't have to bring just anyone and an uninvited guest at home."
With that, she got up and went straight out of the hall without giving Alice a chance to retort.
Behind him came Jordan's voice with a trace of anger. "Ivelle, you know that Aunt Alice is not well, so why target and humiliate her everywhere? If you have any dissatisfaction, you can vent on me. You don't have to embarrass her."
After that, Ivelle didn't continue to listen. She just left the villa and got into the car.
Jordan soon followed. The moment that he saw her sitting leisurely in the car, he curled his lips and said. "Are you relieved?"
After taking a blank look at him, Ivelle didn't bother to say more. She started the car and was ready to go directly to Badger.
He moved so fast that he got on the passenger's seat and looked at her.
"Where are you going?"
"The Badger's Group!"
He frowned. "I thought we're going to see a doctor?"
Ivelle folded her arms, stopped the car, looked at him indifferently, and said. "Get out of the car, I'm busy."
He leaned his fit body back on the seat and said. "Then let's go to Badger's first and take care of your business before we see a doctor."
"Don't you have your own business to do? Jordan, aren't you busy that you'll keep on bothering me? You follow me twenty hours a day. I'm not a prisoner."
"My task today is to stay with you!"
Engulfed with sudden irritation, Ivelle knocked on the steering wheel and was so upset that she looked at him calmly and conceded. "Okay, you drive. I can't find the way."
He raised his eyebrows, sat up straight, kissed her on the face, and smiled. "It's the same thing. We'll go to the company after seeing a doctor."
Ivelle frowned and waited patiently for him to get out of the car.
He got out of the car, went around the front of the car, and went to the driver's seat. She watched him reach out to open the door and violence grew in his bones the moment that he realized what Ivelle really planned. She squinted at him as she pressed the lock button. Ivelle looked at him faintly and said. "Jordan, take a slow walk!"
With that, she drove the car away with one foot on the throttle. In the rearview mirror, he stood where he was and his face as dark as the night.
Ivelle glanced at him and smirked triumphantly as she drove directly to Badger.
Things are not much the same but she forced herself to have a look. Aaron is not around anymore. The Badger's Group is still running in accordance with the original pace. Ivelle simply exchanged work with Samuel in The Badger's Group and then came out.
Liam called and said coldly. "Where are you?"
"The Badger's Group. What's the matter?" When she got out of the office, she was in no hurry to go out. Instead, she stood at the door of the elevator and listened to Liam who was on the other end of the phone call. The signal in the elevator was not good.
His voice sounded like he was just woken up, somewhat hoarse. "Just give me a few minutes. I'll take you to the hospital later."
Ivelle was upset. She can't help but be irritated. "I'm not going to the hospital."
When Liam saw her refusal, he suddenly got mad. "What are you going to do if you don't go to the hospital? If you can't be cured, you want to drag yourself to death?"
'This guy!'
"Liam, I'm in good health. Depression is just a mental problem. If you control it, you'll be all right. Don't make a fuss. I don't have time for a moment. What's going on with the Biden Family?" Ivelle carefully changed the subject and didn't want to continue to see a doctor.
He was a little angry. "I made a fuss simply because I care for you. You can kill yourself in that way. Why do you have to be so stubborn, can't you just do what I say? Are you going to wait for yourself to die and let me collect your body directly?"
She was a little helpless and continued to change the subject. "Haven't you heard anything from the Biden Family with the information I gave you yesterday?"
She vaguely heard him sigh and say. "You are really a stubborn woman! The third uncle checked Joseph and Norris according to the information you gave and found the problem. Hempstead has passed today."
Ivelle nodded, thought about it, and said. "By the way, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with Erin even if they all communicate in the form of business. When you look at it, it seems that they all look very normal. You can remind the third uncle that you can start investigating with Joseph's wife. You may soon be able to find out the deal between him and Erin."
