###Chapter 236 Halfway Enemy Named Alice – Part 8
"Well, you wait at Badger's and I'll pick you up later." This man really is determined as she is. Ivelle has been talking with him for a long time. How can he continue to argue at this point?
After a sigh of breath, she said calmly. "Don't come. I'm ready to go now."
The elevator just arrived and Ivelle just hung up the phone. She got into the elevator and a total of only a few minutes had passed. Time seems to fly so fast.
After all, Ivelle was thinking too much. All of a sudden, she met the man she left in the middle of the road at the Badger's doorway. Jordan, to be exact, was found.
He stood out in the crowd in a hand-made black suit and his muscular, tall figure with his handsome and outstanding facial features.
When she saw him, Ivelle instinctively wanted to avoid him but before she could react, he was already striding towards me.
Jordan unscrupulously hugged her in his arms and asked. "How long are you going to lose your temper?"
She curled her lips and didn't struggle too much because of the large number of people around them. Ivelle kept a fake smile on her face. "I didn't lose my temper!"
Jordan pulled her out of Badger. A red sports car suddenly stopped, ushered in a lot of people's attention.
The cool car's door swirled upward, which was particularly conspicuous. Liam, who wore sunglasses, got off the car with a ruffian and cool temperament.
The moment that his eyes fell on Ivelle who was in Jordan's arms, he took off his sunglasses. She squinted his eyes and looked at Jordan. With a cold voice, he greeted them. "Can't you see that her face is full of resistance to you?"
Jordan looked at him with disdain, and his eyes fell on her coldly. "You tricked me out of the car just for him, and you were going to avoid me?"
Ivelle knew what he meant. What he said was total slander.
"No!" She opened her mouth and defended herself. "I don't know what he's doing here."
Originally, it was very troublesome to deal with a person like Jordan. Now that another man who was as pushy and hardheaded as him appeared, it was as if Ivelle had a headache.
Looking at the two men, Ivelle said. "I'm going to see a doctor!"
With that, she got into Jordan's car directly.
At the top-tier and first-class hospital.
Center for Mental Disease Control.
In such a large ward, only the psychiatrist and Ivelle sat opposite each other. The doctor was an elderly man surnamed Atlas.
"Mr. Atlas, this is for you. Good Afternoon Mrs. Astley." The nurse in white came in, handed the document in hand to Stephen Atlas, and took a very serious look at Ivelle when she left.
After reading the document, Mr. Atlas helped the presbyopic glasses and looked at Ivelle, and said. "Ivelle, have you had insomnia frequently lately?"
She thought about it and said. "Whenever I am emotionally unstable, I am prone to insomnia. I do not know whether it is frequent or not."
He explained to her. "This is what you called a psychological pressure. You have to learn to vent these emotions by yourself. Come to me more often. Don't pretend to be alright and suppress too many emotions in your heart. As you know, our life is very short. If you don't rush to figure out a lot of things, you will get old."
He was kind of like talking to her. Ivelle nodded as she agreed with him.
He bowed his head and wrote something to Ivelle on a piece of paper. He looked at her and smiled. "Do what you want to do. There is no need for you to have so much burden in your heart."
Ivelle took the prescription, can't help but be stupefied. The psychiatrist's prescriptions are mostly some calming drugs. Ivelle paused and asked in surprise. "These drugs?"
"Just like you used to. After so many years, you know in your heart that you can only cure it by yourself. All the doctor can tell you is to move on!" He spoke with no emotion on his old face.
Ivell nodded and asked no more questions.
When they came out of the psychology room, Jordan and Liam both looked at her and said. "How's it going?"
She was stupefied and couldn't help laughing. She handed the prescription to Jordan and said. "The doctor said, drink more hot water."
"What?" Liam was puzzled. "Did Dr. Atlas really say that?"
She nodded, tilted her head, and looked at him. "So, the doctor says I'm not sick and you're not going to let me continue to see the doctor, are you?"
Liam frowned. "Who is that?" At this point, he glanced at the confused Jordan. He then stopped, looked at her, and said. "The third uncle asked you to go to the Weld family with me next week. Let's have dinner together and meet the Weld family."
She was stupefied, but after thinking about it, Ivelle nodded in agreement. She yawns and looked at Liam. "I didn't sleep well last night, so I'll go back first!"
He was going to say something, but when he saw that she was so sleepy, he stopped. Liam nodded and said. "Then go back and have an early rest."
He glared at Jordan scrutinizingly and said sarcastically. "Jordan is not tired?"
Jordan answered him. "I've always been in good health!"
Liam got angry and left directly.
As soon as Liam left, Jordan squinted slightly. He looked at her and said. "Where's your prescription?"
She pursed her lips, clenched the prescription in her hand, and said faintly. "There is no prescription. The doctor said to drink more warm water."
"Ivelle!" He spoke with some emphasis.
She was a little upset and didn't tell him more. Ivelle went straight out of the hospital and got into the car.
He followed but in no hurry. Jordan looked at her and said. "I invite you to have dinner in Terraza Bistro, would you like to go?"
She subconsciously wanted to refuse. Ivelle thought for a moment, looked at him, and said. "Why am I invited?"
He started the car. "Last time on the phone!"
She was stunned. 'So, he was going to apologize to me?' Ivelle wondered,
Some people say that if you live with a man, you only need to look at his attitude towards you to see whether he loves you or not.
After thinking about it, Ivelle looked at him and nodded. "Okay!" She smiled gently.
It's still early. When Jordan took me to Terraza Bistro, Ivelle thought it was still early and said. "Don't you think it's too early?"
In which he graciously answered. "Let's eat early so we can go back and have a good rest."
In the private room.
When she looked at the three people sitting inside, Ivelle couldn't help but laughed. She looked back at Jordan and said sarcastically. "So, is this the Feast at Swan Goose Gate banquet?" Contrary to the merry voice Ivelle used, her words dripped with sarcasm. She was surprised that the gathering was under false pretense.
Jordan frowned, squinted, and looked at Kian cautiously with his lips on a thin line. "What's going on?"
Kian stood up strictly and said with some embarrassment. "Jordan, Nicole who has been in the hospital for a long time, has not come out for a while. She just came here for a walk. She didn't tell you in advance. I'm sorry. But I promise, nothing will happen."
Brad drank tea faintly and looked as if he had stayed out of the matter.
Jordan took a faint glance and sat on the table. Poor Nicole sank her dark eyes and looked at Ivelle and said. "Do you still want to eat?"
Kian looked at her apologetically and said. "Ivelle, I'm sorry, I--"
Ivelle interrupted him.
"Since when have I become the superfluous one here?" Nicole opened her mouth and retorted. With her face full of arrogance and grievance, she continued. "Since everyone thinks I'm the extra here, I won't disturb you anymore."
With that, she got up. Nicole picked up her bag and was ready to go.
Kian looked at Ivelle awkwardly and said. "Ivelle, I'm sorry. I'll see her off!"
"No, everyone has an appointment to come here for dinner. Since everyone is together already, let's have a good meal." Ivelle opened my mouth and looked at the pretentious Nicole. "Would you mind eating with me, Miss Blakely?"
