###Chapter 304 She Is Not Biden's True Daughter - Part 1
"Marcela, what time did Jordan went out this morning?" I asked the old woman as I ate porridge.
"He left at dawn. He's always in a hurry when he leaves." Marcela replied, then paused, looked at me, and said, "I heard the other day that Nicole didn't seem to be the real daughter of the Biden family. I was afraid she had admitted her mistake."
As soon as I heard her words, my heart started beating fast. Did Jordan go out early because of this?
I didn't ask any more questions. I knew I had to go back to the capital. I had to arrange to go there as soon as I can. I was in poor health these days, so I asked Jon to take her with me.
When I arrived in the Victory Apartment, Parker was cooking in the kitchen. I held the child in my arms. When Parker saw me coming over, he slouched his back and said, "How can you be a mother? I almost thought you were gone forever."
I was a little sorry and said, "I went to M country and came back last night. How are you and the kid? Is he fine?"
He nodded and asked me to hug Jon. He said, "This little guy is not willing to eat milk powder after tasting your breast milk."
I held Blossom up and I really felt like he became thinner. On the sofa, I looked at Parker and saw him cooking seriously.
I couldn't help but look at Jon and say, "Are you going back to the capital?"
He wrung his eyebrows. "Well, are you going back to the capital as well?"
I nodded. "The Badger Group has a new product to release. I've always been in charge of these kinds of projects. I can't help it. I must go back."
He looked at Blossom and couldn't help saying, "Are you going to take the little guy to live in the capital?"
"Uh, no."
He was silent and couldn't help looking at Parker and said, "But do you have any plans to go to Beijing?"
Parker stopped his actions and looked back at me. "The credit and the Wesley family are in Hempstead. I can only go to the capital if it's on business."
After a pause, he looked at me and said, "Ivelle, you can resign. Go back to Hempstead. Jordan is now basically taken care of by outsiders. You are Jordan's wife, and you should be with him and take care of him."
I pursed my lips and subconsciously wanted to refuse. He continued, "Jordan is ambitious, but Hempstead is where its origin and foundation. It is better to leave Jordan's management to outsiders than let him do it himself."
I was silent for a moment, and said, "At first I left Jordan because of a mistake, but now even if I want to go back, I have to at least make achievements. Badger's AI relies on me, and I have left before I even saw any result, which is no different from leaving Jordan at the beginning."
"So, what's your plan?"
"Wait for the market effect of AI to come out. And add to that, I saw Aaron Badger." Blossom is probably hungry because he had been rubbing his hands against my clothes.
Parker's skin color turned pale. "Richard Badger's only son, Aaron?"
I nodded desperately.
Jon wondered, "Didn't he die in a car accident? How could he still be alive?"
I nodded. "I saw him in the United States, and I don't know how he died, so I'm not sure what happened to him at that time."
With that, I got up and carried Blossom into the room to breastfeed him.
I had planned to pick up Blossom at Hampshire, but Jon was worried when he saw me driving alone, so he asked me to pick it up with Jordan another day.
When I came out of Victory's apartment, I had nothing else to do. Seeing that it was still early, I wanted to go to the graveyard to see Grandpa, Grandma, and Maisie.
There was a traffic jam in the middle of the car, but luckily I wasn't stuck on the highway.
Because of the long waiting, many drivers got out of the car to have a good look at what was happening.
After watching the situation, the driver turned back and said helplessly, "How can the young people drive so carelessly and hit others badly? The passenger inside the car was pregnant and was going to give birth. This is too dangerous."
"Looking at the man who drives Maybach, he is probably only in his twenties, but he seemed like he has an outstanding temperament and is not like an ordinary dude. How can he drive so carelessly? He may not be able to leave for a while. He has to endure being stuck in a traffic jam."
The driver said on the phone.
I couldn't help but look at the time. The cemetery was extremely far away from here. After the traffic jam, it may be too late for me to get there.
Even so, I got out of the car and looked sideways at the car accident in front of me. I couldn't help frowning at the black Maybach.
The license plate looked particularly conspicuous and familiar.
When I realized it was Jordan, I felt a buzz in my head. My legs started trembling, and I sat up directly.
"Are you all right, little girl? What's the matter?" The taxi driver who got out of the car to see what was going on helped me up.
Maybe he had learned some first aid knowledge, and he raised his hand and tried pinching me. The pain came to my nerves and I got over it. I regained my consciousness and stood up on my own.
Staring at the driver, I said, "Thank you!"
"It's nothing!" The driver held me and said, "Do you have hypoglycemia from time to time? Why don't I take you to the hospital?"
I shook my head, exhaled, stood still, and relaxed for a while. I then looked at him and said, "No, thank you, I'm all fine!"
Relieved from the chaos just now, I moved forward step by step.
Because of the heavy traffic jam, it took a long time for the ambulance to come in, and there were people around the accident.
I went into the crowd and came closer.
I saw a clean man dressed in black in the crowd, who was protecting the woman beside him with a cold face and holding a phone in his hand as if he were looking for emergency workers.
There was a lot of blood on the ground, which belonged to pregnant women. Some medical students were cleaning up her wounds, and some people were fanning her.
My eyes fell on the pregnant woman's bulging belly and touched the blood left on her leg. I felt as if I had been struck by lightning.
My lower abdomen unconsciously began to feel pain. I subconsciously covered my stomach and could not help but step back.
Jordan, who was originally on the phone, also seemed to saw me. His eyes were dark and he came towards me.
Nicole, who had been protected by him, looked so much pale.
"Ivelle, what are you doing here?"
I had severe pain in my lower abdomen, so I frowned at him and said, "I just happened to be driving by. Are you all right?"
He shook his head and saw that my face was white with pain. He hugged me tightly and said in a low voice, "Where's the car?"
"In the back!"
After putting me inside the car and relaxing for a while, I breathed a sigh of relief.
He frowned at me. "Why does it hurt all of a sudden?"
I shook my head, took a breath, and said, "Maybe it's because I saw the pregnant woman just now, which could be the sequela of what happened to me the last time."
After a pause, I looked at him and said, "You. What are you doing here? "
Nicole had followed me. I haven't seen her for a few days. She looked pale and weak, and she seemed to have suddenly lost a lot of weight.
Jordan looked calm. "When I took her to the hospital, I was distracted on the way and hit someone."
He made an understatement, but I was afraid the truth was not that simple. Jordan always drove steadily, and he couldn't cause an accident simply because he was distracted.
I subconsciously looked at Nicole and saw that her face was still very pale, her eyes were a little red and swollen, and she was obviously still crying.
Seeing her look at my eyes with resentment and hatred, I couldn't help frowning. Have I offended her again recently?
The sound of the ambulance came. Jordan raised his hand and tucked my hair behind my ear. "Don't think about it too much, okay? Go home and wait for me," Jordan said in a gentle voice. "I'll take care of this. I'll go back as soon as everything's alright, huh? "
