###Chapter 307 Biden's Daughter – Part 4
Jordan Astley looked at Ivelle Astley and was silent for a long time. The light in the ward was so bright that it hurt Ivelle's eyes. So, she closed her eyes.
She just pulled the quilt over her, closed her eyes, and stopped looking at anything.
Erin and Andrew Biden came and saw Jordan standing decadently at the bedside. His whole image was introverted and looked gloomy.
As Erin looked at Ivelle in the hospital bed again, she asked, "Why is it that you vomit blood? Have you found out what's causing this?"
Ivelle didn't speak. She didn't have the strength to speak and didn't even want to say anything.
Meanwhile, Jordan just looked at them with terrible eyes. But he still said nothing. A very long silence ensued in the room.
In the next few days, Jordan came to the hospital. Erin and Andrew also came, but everyone seemed to be silent as if they had an appointment.
It wasn't a serious illness, so Ivelle was discharged three days later.
Jordan picked her up and took her back to the villa.
Ivelle seems to be used to the silence. As she looked at all the familiar objects in the bedroom, she suddenly feels that one-third of her life was so ridiculous.
In fact, she had nothing to lose. Ever since she became part of the Astley family, almost everything she had was bought by Jordan. She brought almost nothing with her, except her identification card and her graduation certificate.
Jordan, who followed her to the room told her, "It's very late today. It's not safe for you to go out now. So just have a good rest today." He pressed Ivelle's hand in his hand.
But Ivelle pursed her lips, pulled out her hand indifferently, looked at him lightly, and replied weakly, "No, thank you for your kindness."
He raised his eyebrows and his face became gloomier as he told her, "Ivelle, do you have to come this far? We should not do this."
Ivelle laughed weakly and said, "Yes, we didn't have to do this. But why did I get this far in the end?"
Jordan's lips were covered, and his fate was intertwined with gloom and pain. He meekly uttered, "I'm sorry."
Ivelle coldly replied, "If both my child and Maisie could come back, then I will be happy to accept this apology of yours." Ivelle scornfully thought, 'A man with a sharp knife in his hand, who would erase all his mistakes with a light apology, was just ridiculous.
When February came, it began to rain outside. The temperature was cold as Ivelle pulled her suitcase out of his hand.
When she got out of the bedroom and stood at the door of the villa, she breathed a sigh of relief as she thought, 'It was all over at last.'
Jon drove over. His hair was short and able. He carried Ivelle's suitcase to the car.
He then looked at her and said, "Let's go!"
When she got into the car, Jordan stood at the door with his eyes deep and distant.
This parting was a long speech.
When the car had driven far away, Jordan was still standing at the same place. He's tall and slender body became more blurred in the icy drizzle.
Meanwhile, inside the car, Jon spoke to Ivelle in a gentle voice, "Maybe everything isn't so bad and you don't have to go."
Ivelle held the divorce papers in her hand, smiled, and replied, "Jon, some things might seem to be over with the naked eye, but it's like a thorn that wakes people up in the dead of night from time to time. Then the blood would start to flow."
Ivelle thought to herself, 'How could I just let it go?'
From the accident of her child to know about Maisie's death, she had made excuses for herself every time. She blamed everything on Erin. She blamed her hatred and discontent on her, and then persuaded herself again and again to ignore Jordan.
In fact, he was innocent. There was nothing he could do about the child and he had no scruples about Maisie. Even though he took care of Nicole, Ivelle would tell herself again and again that it was only because Jordan felt responsible and obligated.
She was not that stingy. All of these were acceptable, if only Jordan took her to heart, all these wouldn't have mattered.
But now she didn't think about it that way. All these started when Jordan knowingly committed the crime. He knew that Ivelle's parents were Erin and Andrew. But she didn't resent Jordan for not telling her the truth, nor did she resent him for exchanging her DNA with Nicole.
What she couldn't let go of was the fact that Jordan knew full well that Erin and Ivelle were mother and daughter, but he looked coldly at Erin's injury while Ivelle's resentment towards Erin grew.
He could have let Ivelle go from the very beginning. She had mentioned divorce before. If only he had agreed to divorce in the first place, Ivelle would have taken the children and Maisie to Greenville to find a piece of pure land and raise the children there.
Ivelle could have raised the two children for the rest of her life, even if she lacked money. At least, she would not live like this, without a child, without a best friend, and would live with an injury on her back.
Meanwhile, back at the Victory Apartment.
Parker Wesley held Blossom in his arms and stood at the door. When he saw Ivelle and Jon, he paused slightly and said, "The food is ready. The meal will be ready in a minute."
Upon entering the room, Parker handed Blossom to Jon and went to the kitchen.
Blossom looked very good. As Ivelle looked at her, she couldn't help but feel soft. She reached out, took her over, and teased her by her little hand.
After a moment of silence, Jon looked at Ivelle and asked, "What's next?"
Ivelle thought about it. She was silent for a moment and then said, "I'm going to take Blossom to Primrose."
After a pause, she looked at him and continued to say, "Please, contact me in the next two days. I have a house on this side of the Victory Apartment. I want to buy it."
He frowned as he asked, "Aren't you short of money?"
"No! At that time, Maisie and I bought one, and one of the two houses was left for Blossom. When Maisie transferred the bar, she had a sum of money and bought one in Greenville. There was a total of two houses, and there was no need to worry about it for Blossom."
"As for myself, after years of working in Astley Group, plus the money I signed with Samson's Electronics, I've got a lot of money. At least I don't have to worry about the rest of my life.
Ivelle bought the Victory Apartment. She planned to go to Primrose to find a smaller house and live with Blossom.
Jon was silent for a moment. After a long time, he looked up at Ivelle and asked, "Is there no chance for you and Jordan to be back together again?"
Ivelle smiled and did not know what to say. Finally, she replied, "I have been deceiving myself for a long time. Whenever I would have dreams, I always dreamt of my child asking me to save him. I could even clearly see the red marks on the child's head. I have been deceiving myself over and over again. He is helpless and he doesn't want to do this. But Jon, I can't go on and deceive myself all my life."
He folded his lips and asked, "What about the Astley Family? And the Weld family? Have you ever thought about them if you walk away like this?"
Blossom's hands tightly held her and wouldn't let her move.
As Ivelle looked at her, she smiled unconsciously, paused, and then looked at Jon as she said, "I didn't plan to recognize the Astley Family from the very beginning. I think they will understand. But as for Liam Weld--"
After a moment of silence, Ivelle gasped and said, "Jon, he and Erin were the closest. Jordan knew this. Do you think he didn't know? He should have known a long time ago that I was Erin's daughter, and he always knew what Jordan had done. He was uncertain. Some of the details were done by him. After all, Erin and Andrew were not stupid. How could they not even know that the DNA was exchanged?"
He curled his lips and stopped talking.
Spring in Hempstead came relatively early, and some trees sprouted vaguely after a few heavy spots of rain.
