###Chapter 306 Biden's Daughter – Part 3
Nicole Blakeley followed downstairs from the hospital and looked at Ivelle with a sneer as she said, "What's that look on your face? What? Jordan Astley told you the story. Did you find yourself fooled that easily?"
Ivelle looked at her. Her brain was buzzing and she couldn't say a word.
Nicole seemed to appreciate Ivelle's expression and sneered low. She then asked, "Is it good for your child to be killed by your own mother?"
Ivelle looked at her and opened her mouth with what little strength she had left. She weakly asked, "What are you talking about?"
She giggled and replied, "What? Jordan didn't tell you that you are Erin's daughter? Brother Jordan deliberately brought the sandalwood box your grandmother left for you and took it to Erin. He told her that it was mine and exchanged your DNA with mine."
"Do you still think that he loves you? The truth is, he doesn't love you at all. If he loves you, why would he do everything possible to send me to the Biden Family, let me become a lady of the Biden Family and enjoy the life of a young lady, while you are still a wild child born in the backcountry?"
Ivelle's body was like duckweed without support. She took a step back coldly, then sat on the ground with her eyes a little distracted.
She sadly thought, 'So, the tragic death of the child that I almost died, and Maisie's death, all of these are because of Jordan?'
"Why?" Ivelle tried to open her mouth, but she didn't know why or who she should ask.
Nicole sneered and continued to say, "Why? Why do you think? Because he doesn't love you at all. In his heart, I'm still the one he wanted to protect. He wants to give me the best life, the most unattainable life. Isn't that enough?"
Ivelle looked at her and couldn't say a word for a moment. But then, she suddenly smiled sadly and said, "Therefore, love can be faked. And everything else between us was faked."
Nicole looked at Ivelle with a happy look on her face and said, "Yes, it's all fake."
The people who came in and out of the hospital gate looked at Ivelle who was slumped on the ground. They all looked at her with a puzzled look.
Meanwhile, Nicole who was half-squatted down looked gloomily close to Ivelle, lowered her voice, and then looked at Ivelle as she said, "Do you think Jordan doesn't know about the baby? He knows about everything. He just pretended not to know. He had planned about that child a long time ago. The child was either killed by your mother or suffocated by the medicine Brad Silverman gave you. Ivelle, the man around you is more terrible than you think."
There was a rush of coldness in Ivelle's heart, and then a surge in her stomach. With an awful sound, a mouthful of blood gushed out from her.
Nicole looked at Ivelle with a mocking smile and said, "You lost. You lost thoroughly."
Then she got up, looked down at Ivelle, and turned away.
When Jordan came, Ivelle looked at the blood on the ground. There was nothing in her mind but sheer blankness. She only felt pain in her heart and pain all over her body.
Jordan opened his mouth and reached out to help Ivelle as he asked her, "Ivelle, what's going on?"
Suddenly, Ivelle's hand landed on his cheeks. Ivelle used the only strength she had with the slap, but she didn't seem to feel anything for him.
The man's slender body was stiff, and the color of his eyes became darker. He opened his mouth, suppressed his anger, and his voice was low and introverted as he asked, "What happened?"
Ivelle looked at him and suddenly thought that the man in front of her looked hideous. She shouted, "Get out!"
He frowned, picked Ivelle up from the ground, and sent her back inside the hospital.
The nurse measured her pulse rate and took a series of tests.
After a series of tests, Ivelle laid in the hospital bed. She hollowly looked at the dark TV screen placed at the end of the bed. With a low voice, she told him, "Jordan, let's get a divorce!"
Ivelle thought that divorce was the best choice.
Jordan looked at her. The anger that he had forced to suppress surged and his brow frowned slightly. In a low, cold voice, he spoke, "Ivelle, do you know what you are talking about?"
Ivelle lowered her eyes, raised her hand, and rubbed her sore eyes. She began to say, "It was wrong from the beginning. And since it was wrong, let's split up before it is too late for us to start all over again!"
He sneered and replied, "Oh, what's wrong? What do you mean from the beginning? Ivelle, is this the death penalty that you plan to give to me?"
Ivelle looked up and looked at him without any trace of emotion as she said, "I won't ask for any amount from your family, including Samson's Electronics, which my grandfather transferred to me. I left the house clean. I'm doing these in honor of my grandfather's care at that time."
He lowered his black eyes, and his cool lips trembled slightly. With a sneer and repressed anger, Jordan asked her, "What's the reason?"
'Reason?'
Ivelle smiled. Along the way, she had experienced so much. She seemed to have no emotions left as if any encounter could be pressed in her heart. It was as if little by little, her heart was beginning to get numb.
She told him, "After being married to you for three years, I knew from the day I stepped into the Astley Family that Nicole was someone special for you. And I had accepted that from the very beginning. Even if one day you were separated from me for her sake, I could live with that."
Although she was unable to smile, Ivelle managed to grin at his dark eyes and said, "You do not protect my integrity, you do not even love me. I wasn't able to make you fall in love with me because I am not good enough. But I do not blame you. Although you did not love me, I have truly loved you, so you have no reason to hurt me. For Nicole's sake, you should not have hurt me and our child, which is also your flesh and blood."
Jordan opened his mouth and his eyes were very low. He asked her, "What did Nicole say to you?"
My lips and fingertips pierced into the palm to ease the pain in my heart. She replied, "Nicole said everything she had to say. Starting from our childhood. In fact, I didn't want to find my biological parents at all. You wanted Nicole to replace my identity and give her a bright future. I do not have any regrets at all, but you should not have dragged me into this. As I mentioned earlier, as long as I have children, even if we are divorced, I can live a good life. You and Nicole can take over the Astley Family's network and be with each other."
"Ivelle," Jordan opened his mouth as he tried to talk to her. His eyes were gloomy and his voice was full of emotions.
Ivelle gasped and continued to say, "But why have you messed up my life? Why did you let me go through life and death repeatedly? Why did the people around me have to suffer, too? Why would you not let me go? What have I done to deserve this? What made you so disgusted and hateful towards me to make me experience all these kinds of torture?"
"I..." Jordan tried to speak with a choked voice.
Meanwhile, Ivelle sighed and wanted to laugh, but she couldn't. She then told Jordan, "I'll find someone to draw up the divorce agreement. Jordan, this is the last sign of respect you could give me. Please, let me go."
His eyes were scarlet and he looked at Ivelle. Ivelle felt dizzy with rough waves.
She closed her eyes, gasped, and said, "You go."
Ivelle thought deeply. Her grandmother used to tell her that there were different kinds of people in life. Some people muddled over as they navigate through life, while some lived clearly until they're done. But no matter what one would choose to live, it didn't matter as long as one's heart was happy.
Now Ivelle, who seemed to have been confused for so many years, wanted to live clearly. But this change almost killed her.
