###Chapter 31 The Beginning Of Contradiction
###Chapter 31 The Beginning Of Contradiction
I couldn't help it for one moment. "Oh my god!" I retched suddenly and went to the bathroom. I vomited all the food I had just eaten, which made my stomach feel worse.
"It's not delicious?" There was a cold voice behind me. I was stupefied and looked back at Jordan, who was leaning on the door.
Hurriedly shaking my head, I said, "No, I may have been hungry all day, and now that I suddenly ate, my stomach can't stand it. That's why I feel sick right now."
He helped me up and pulled me to the second floor. I was a little confused.
"What's the matter?"
He took off his suit, then changed into casual clothes, looked at me, and said, "Change your clothes. What you want to eat, we'll get it. Let's go out tonight!"
As soon as I realized what he wanted to do, I hurriedly said, "I'm not hungry. I can't eat when I go out. I won't go."
However, it seemed that my words were useless. He looked at me and gave me no room to refuse. "I'll wait for you outside!"
Seriously, I was really not hungry.
After thinking about it, I finally changed my clothes and went out with him.
At seven or eight o'clock, there was a lot of noise and hustle and bustle. Jordan was driving, glanced sideways at me, and said, "What would you like to eat?"
I thought about it and said, "Something light!"
Maybe it's because of the pregnancy and vomiting, but I always feel like I'm resistant to a fishy smell.
He nodded slightly and looked at me with his handsome and warm eyes. I suddenly found that this was the most harmonious day since Jordan and I got married.
For a few seconds, I greedily thought, if only we could go on forever like this. The three of us would live a good life like this, how happy it would be?
The car was parked in front of a diner. I got out of the car and went straight into the restaurant to look for a seat. Maybe not many people came to eat here at night.
As soon as I sat down, the waiter handed me the menu. Jordan has already eaten and I didn't have a good appetite, so I only ordered a few snacks and an order of soup.
To my surprise, after Jordan stopped, two people came inside the restaurant, Nicole and Kian.
Chance encounter? Or did he schedule an appointment in advance?
Seeing that I was already seated, Jordan came to me and sat down. When she saw me, Nicole's face changed, and then she didn't say much. It was originally a seat for four people.
Because I sat down first, Nicole quickly sat next to Jordan. Kian looked at my way and asked, "Ivelle, I sit next to you, is it okay?"
Could I say whatever I want?
Of course not!
So I was silent.
"What did you order?" Jordan opened his mouth, took the menu from the waiter's hand, and looked at me.
I said, "Just a few snacks and a soup!"
He nodded, bowed his head, and chose something from the menu. Kian curled his mouth and said, "Don't order for me. I have no appetite."
Jordan nodded and gave the menu to the waiter.
Then the three people began to talk. I couldn't get into the topic of their conversation, so I just kept silent.
The waiter brought up the soup. It was pumpkin soup. As soon as the other orders arrived, he naturally placed the bowl in front of Nicole. His voice was low and magnetic. "Here's what you ordered. Drink something to warm your stomach."
Nicole smiled happily and said, "I know that Jordan understands me best! He knows that I like soup best!"
In my tacit understanding of the scene in front of me, I felt like I was stabbed.
With great understanding in mind, Jordan knew that my tenderness and kindness an honor that I can't keep giving for all my life.
"Did you order? Why don't we eat together? Soup in their family is very delicious. Jordan used to always bring me here." While speaking, Nicole put the soup in front of me.
I shook my head, pushed the soup back, and smiled, "I ordered it, too. It'll be ready in a minute!"
After seeing this, she also said something else and continued to talk to the two men about topics that I couldn't get into.
Before long, the side dishes and porridge were all served. Seeing that I also ordered pumpkin soup, Nicole smiled innocently and said, "Ivelle, you also like Pumpkin soup. Remember when I suggested to you that porridge cooked with caution should be super delicious?"
As she said that, she leaned close to me, her head close to my ear. I didn't like people getting too close to me. I moved my body slightly with a twist of my eyebrow.
"Oh, dear!" Suddenly, while we slurped the pumpkin soup with a few mouthfuls, someone spilled their soup on me, making a mess all over the place.
Because it was a little hot, I stood up instinctively, but I didn't want to bump into Nicole, who was close to me. She exclaimed in pain.
I didn't have time to apologize. I reached for a paper towel to wipe the porridge on my leg. I was urged by Jordan when I went out. I only wore a dress. My clothes were thin and most of my skin was burning red.
After wiping most of the soup on my body, I looked back and saw Jordan bowing his head and kneeling carefully in front of Nicole to wipe her nosebleed.
I think I just got up in such a hurry that I bumped into Nicole's nose.
Kian carefully found a tissue and handed it to Jordan. He watched me twist my eyebrows and said angrily, "Does Ivelle never take her eyes off Jordan when she goes out?"
I froze and didn't know what to say for a moment.
Looking at Nicole's red and swollen eyes, and the nosebleed that I had accidentally given to her, I suppressed the sorrow in my heart and said, "Nicole, I'm sorry!"
I didn't meet the man who poured soup just now. Apart from Nicole who sat in front of me, I can't think of anyone else who would push their soup to me.
"It's all right, Ivelle. Just be careful next time." When Nicole finished wiping herself, he looked at Jordan with red eyes and asked, "Jordan, the soup has spilled, and I don't want to eat it anymore. Will you go out with me?"
Jordan frowned and looked at the untouched snacks on the table. "Have something to eat before you go!"
So, during the chaos, I didn't even notice that I was scalded, and no one even cared to help me clean the spilled soup on me.
I stood aside and suddenly felt superfluous and ridiculous.
"I'll go first!" Leaving these words, I walked out of the restaurant. My heart was like stabbed by a cold knife that cannot be pulled out. The pain could not stop.
I realized that God was not so fair, after all. For when he gives gifts to people, he gives candies, joy, and fulfillment to some girls, while he gives pain and torture to some girls.
"Ivelle!" There was a low voice fueled by anger behind me. I looked back and saw Jordan following me.
Looking at me, he frowned slightly, vaguely enraged, "What are you doing?"
Do what? Is he blaming me? Blaming me for hurting Nicole?
"I can't eat. I want to go back home." I felt so uncomfortable. I didn't want to say too much. I was afraid that I couldn't stand the outbreak of my grievances.
He walked up to me and said outright, "Ivelle, is this your upbringing?"
I pulled his wrist hard before he could turn away. I looked up at him and his gloomy and cold expression, our eyes in a staring fight.
I suddenly crooked my eyebrows and smiled, "Breeding? Jordan, what is your so-called upbringing? Can a married man take good care of another woman in front of his wife, regardless of his wife's feelings?"
