###Chapter 30 His Past
###Chapter 30 His Past
It seems that he read my message and hung up the phone. I couldn't sleep and had nothing to do, so I went directly to Jordan's study.
Before the work became too busy, I seldom have time to study in the room, rarely have time to rest even. But now, I could have an excuse to be lazy.
Jordan's study was very large, and there are many kinds of books. I was bored so I read some books with pictures for a while, before I soon had a backache.
I had to put down the books in my hand and stand up. As I wander around in the study, I accidentally saw a small cabinet that looked old in the corner of calligraphy.
Out of curiosity, I looked through it and found some photos, all of which were old. I can see that they all seemed to be pictures of Jordan when he was a child.
I have never seen Jordan's parents. I saw a yellowed picture of a young man and woman holding a kid in their arms, smiling and looking kindly.
The man's eyebrows and eyes are a little like Jordan's and his grandfather's. The kid should be Jordan. The woman looked gentle and elegant, and she should be his mother.
Turning back, I felt something was wrong. In the last few photos, the kid in the arms of Jordan's parents turned into a girl. I looked back and found that there were indeed several photos in which Jordan's parents were standing next to a two-or three-year-old girl.
My grandfather said before that Jordan's parents only had Jordan's son and seemed to have no daughter. As for his Uncle Hector, they never had children, let alone their daughter.
Who was the little girl in that picture?
Because I couldn't figure it out, I guessed that she might be just a neighbor's kid. Without thinking about it any further, I continued to turn down again.
The back photo was a picture of Jordan at school. Grandpa was so thoughtful that he wrote down every process of his growth.
Turning to the back, I saw a group photo, which seemed to be a few years old. Nicole, Brad, and Kian were all there, but there was still another person in the photo.
He was a clear-eyed boy, who looked very warm. Several people around him were extremely good-looking, but the boy was not good-looking at all. He looked a little sick, but because I did not know who the kid was, I did not look into it further.
Among the four boys stood a girl. I know the girl was Nicole, and at that time Nicole was still very short, looking pure and lovely.
At a glance, it was really happy to see the little princess who was held in the palm by the other boys.
After flipping through the photos, I was somewhat saddened. Nicole and Jordan had so much in the past while I have only known Jordan for only two years.
If Grandma hadn't been sick and desperate, that he took me to Jordan's Grandpa, I wouldn't have married Jordan.
Speaking of which, I only married Jordan by relying on my grandmother and Grandpa Pierce. Jordan had no feelings for me, and it was true that I had no feelings for him as well.
It happened so long ago. I never thought carefully about why my Grandma and Grandpa Pierce knew each other. In theory, the Astley family was big, and grandma was an old woman living in the countryside. How could these two people know each other?
I've been thinking too much, and I can't help but get distracted.
After sitting, I stayed late in Jordan's study feeling dizzy. I didn't know if it was because I was pregnant. I didn't feel hungry all day without eating. It must have been because had an upset stomach.
When I went downstairs, I searched in the kitchen for a long time. Before Kyle sent me enough ingredients, I saw that there were still cucumbers in the fridge. I could cut myself some slack because I was not feeling energized. I didn't want to cook, so I just washed the cucumbers and prepared them on a plate. I ate them for dinner.
I didn't notice Jordan who came back. I didn't see the man sitting in the living room until I came out with a wet cucumber.
When did he come back?
Hearing the noise, Jordan turned around and his black eyes fell on the cucumber in my hand. A pair of handsome eyebrows frowned and his voice was low. "What are you doing with it?"
As soon as I was stupefied, I took it for granted, "Eat, of course!" What else could we do about a cucumber but eat it?
Jordan sneered, "Didn't I satisfy you? You need it now?"
Me?
I couldn't keep up with him. What did he mean I need to use it?
Seeing that he got up and walked towards me, his face was cloudy and sunny. I was a little confused. I raised the cucumber in my hand and looked at him and said, "Do you want one?" I washed two anyway.
Jordan's eyes became extremely deep. "No need!" As he said that, he took the cucumber in my hand and threw it aside. He wrapped a big hug around my waist while the tip of his fingers touched my lips.
No matter how stupid I was, I knew what he was going to do at this time. I subconsciously wanted to avoid it. I was surrounded by his hard-on, and my voice was low and hoarse. "It's been several days, and it should be okay now!"
This remark was inexplicable.
"Fuck!" My voice was blocked by him, and I raised my hand as I tried to push him away. I knew there was a difference between men and women, and he was so strong that I couldn't shake him at all.
The smell of stickiness began to spread in the air. My eyes widened.
"Jordan, don't. Stop this."
"Jordan, not yet. I will be infected!" Nicole miscarried not long ago. She could not be touched nor am I. He was so intense at the moment.
I grew a little anxious to see that he was unmoved. "Jordan, the doctor said it would take a month. I'm begging you."
I was about to cry.
Perhaps aware of the plea in my voice, he gradually stopped and held me in his arms without saying a word. His lips were thin and cool as it scratched lightly on my collarbone.
For a long time, he calmed down his breath. He then let me go, looking low and embarrassed, "Are you hungry?"
I was a little embarrassed because my stomach was screaming. I nodded and smiled unnaturally and said, "I haven't eaten all day!"
Jordan was stupefied, and then a pair of black eyes fell on the cucumber just now. He looked at me confused and said, "Were you really just going to eat cucumbers?"
I nodded, "The fumes in the kitchen ere too strong. I don't want to cook, so I just washed two cucumbers."
His eyes were low and the corners of his mouth rose slightly, looking as though he was both feeling funny and helpless.
After some time, he got up and went into the kitchen and came out with a bowl of noodles in his hand, topped with two eggs on it.
Seeing me staring at him, he raised his face and said, "Come and eat!" It's an order, but it's not a nuisance at all.
I can't help thinking of what Brad said today. If I confessed to Jordan, would he really handle the matter well?
When I got up and went to the dinner table, I saw that Jordan had only cooked a bowl of noodles. I was stunned and said, "Have you eaten?"
He nodded, motioned to me to eat quickly, and then looked down at the message on my phone.
This side of him looked really good, but I didn't know why he was being like this. I just ate a few bites, and I felt sick in my stomach again. I endured it several times just for him to not notice.
