###Chapter 348 Awkward Dinner
###Chapter 348 Awkward Dinner
Ivelle was stupefied for a moment, it was obvious that what he meant was that she should not live with Jordan.
He raised his eyebrows slightly, smiled, picked up a piece of meat, and put it into her plate. "Eat more, you've lost weight these days."
The implication was that Ivelle lived there alone and have no one who would take care of her, so she lost weight.
Ivelle was silent for a long time.
Naturally, Blossom did not want to hear these words between adults. Maybe children liked to be close to pregnant women, so she chatted with Blair.
She pulled Blair and said, "Auntie, am I going to call you Auntie in the future?"
As soon as her words came out, Liam's attention was diverted.
He looked at Blossom and said, "Blossom you are good. I'll give you a clip. Don't pester your aunt."
Blossom did not give up, she looked at him and said, "Uncle, my mother said that you have married a girl. Are you and Auntie going to get married?"
Liam frowned and pursed his lips. "Children should eat more and talk less!"
Obviously, he was not willing to let Blossom talk more and ask more questions.
Everyone at the table stopped.
Blair smiled bitterly, the woman was gentle and said nothing. She only bowed her head and no emotion would be seen on her face.
Ivelle frowned, Liam hurt some people before but now that Blair was pregnant, he should not hurt a woman so unscrupulously.
"Blossom, be good, and have a good meal!" Ivelle said, looked at Liam, picked up food for him, and said, "Do you remember that puppy you picked up on the field stalk when I was 11 years old?"
This topic seemed a little abrupt, he was stupefied but he said, "Yes I remember, it was many years ago."
"Do you remember what happened to that dog?"
He thought about it and said, "At that time, I asked you to keep I and after a few months, you gave it away because you were going to go to school in the county."
Ivelle nodded and said, "At that time, I experienced trouble while taking care of it so I sent it away. Later, when I went to look for it again, I couldn't find it. All these years I always thought, if I didn't send it away and just let it stay in the yard with my grandmother, maybe now I don't have to feel sorry every time I think about it."
He was silent for a moment and he did not open his mouth. He just picked up a piece of meat for Ivelle and said, "It's a thing of the past."
"Has Mom ever had a dog before? Is it like a snowball? " Blossom chimed in and looked at her with doubt on her face.
Ivelle smiled and nodded.
She nodded and said, "Then I can't lose the snowball. I'll take good care of it. I can't leave regrets and debts."
Ivelle laughed, looked subconsciously at Liam, and said, "Brother, you know the truth about Blossom, don't get out of your own world."
He pursed his lips and did not open his mouth.
Blair almost said nothing.
After dinner, they drank tea in the yard, Blossom leisurely asked Blair to go to the backyard to see flowers.
Liam and Ivelle sat opposite to each other and then went straight to the subject, "When are you going to have the wedding?"
He frowned. "What wedding?"
"Your wedding with Miss Blair, are you going to wait for the baby to be born before you rush to get a license?"
He shrugged, somewhat carelessly, "I'm not going to get married. You know that the baby in her belly is mine, I want it but I'm not going to marry her. When the baby is born, I'll give her a sum of money and the baby will be transferred to my name."
For a moment, Ivelle was so angry at him that she could hardly speak. If the tea in my hand was not too hot, Ivelle really wanted to pour all the water in the cup on him.
"Liam, do you know how irresponsible you are? I am already in debt for Blossom. Do you want your children to live in a single-parent family? Besides, what's wrong with Blair? She is elegant and good. You are treating her so badly because she loves you. Don't wait for her to leave you someday before you know what you have missed."
He took a sip of tea, leaned his slender body against his chair, and said, "If she wants money, I will give her money. If she gives my child, I will give her money, I am not irresponsible. Besides, in the future, I believe you will love the child as much as you love Blossom."
She really wanted to spill her tea on him. She said, "Don't dream, I can't raise a child for you. Since you choose to keep the child, as a man, you have the obligation and responsibility to marry his mother. Ivelle was so angry at him that she got up and went to the backyard, holding her breath.
Ivelle haven't been so angry for a long time. When she met Jordan, who came down from the second floor, he saw that she was angry and he didn't know why. He asked, "What's the matter?"
She curled her lips and her anger was not suppressed. She looked at him and said, "Men are all good for nothing!"
Ivelle saw him looking at her with a smile, "Has the anger subsided?"
Ivelle nodded and looked at him, a little embarrassed for a moment, "Just now."
He smiled. "Is this about Liam and Miss Blair?"
Ivelle nodded and could not help but open my mouth for a moment. "If he will miss a woman like Blair, he won't meet another girl like her for 800 years. He didn't know how to cherish the uncut jade in his arms!"
He stretched out his hand, pulled her on the rest chair to one side, and said in a gentle voice. "Are you angry because Liam doesn't know how to cherish Blair or you angry at his obsession with you?"
Ivelle froze she looked at him and was unable to speak for a moment.
It took a long time to find her own voice. "He is not a man for me but a brother."
Liam was kind to me and she knew very well that he has taken her to heart in recent years which was indeed no different from the relationship between men and women in the eyes of outsiders.
But Ivelle has experienced real love, how can she not understand Liam's feelings for her? They knew each other when they were young, they have suffered together in the difficult years and they have been together in the wasted years, how could she not distinguish between affection and love.
They were all psychologically lonely people, grandma was gone as well as Maisie. When they were young, they could only depend on each other.
Jordan looked at her and did not say a word for a long time.
"I was angry because he couldn't read his heart. I was afraid that one day he would lose the most important person around him and will realize only after the person is gone."
