###Chapter 349 Hug
###Chapter 349 Hug
After a pause, Ivelle took him by the hand and her face became serious. "Jordan, we are not children anymore. We have lived more than half of our lives. We know very well what we want in our hearts. I just don't want Liam to regret it, that's all."
He did not mention a word but his eyes looked at her.
Ivelle thought that he was angry with her and she said, "Jordan, you can't be so stingy."
He raised the corners of his lips and smiled. His eyes fell on her face and said. "What am I supposed to do?"
When she saw him like this, she knew that he was trying to tease me. She glared at him and stopped talking.
She got up but she was pulled by him to sit on his lap. He wrapped her in his arms and he laughed, "Let them deal with their own affairs, and let's just live our own life, huh?"
Ivelle sighed, she did think so but Liam was her relative after all.
"Blair is really a very nice girl." Ivelle said, "If Liam will miss the chance, it will be a lifetime of regret."
He buried his head on her chest, his voice was muffled, "So what will you do?"
"If the third uncle finds out, he may be able to let Blair into the Weld family!" Liam was still in awe of the third uncle and he would listen to him.
He raised his eyes and looked at her, "Do you know who Blair was? Have you ever investigated her identity?"
Ivelle frowned and was a little puzzled. "Even if Blair was born to humble and not rich, the third uncle valued a family member more than wealth, otherwise, he would not have publicly recognized me and let me into the genealogy of the Weld family."
He raised his eyebrows. "Orion doesn't care about a woman's birth status but he cares about a woman's experience. Your background has been clean all the way over the past 30 years. You are Astley's wife, Biden's daughter and you have graduated from college, these are all enough for Orion to accept but he may not be able to accept it, Blair."
Ivelle frowned, "Even if Blair does not have high education or a wealthy background, she is very elegant. I think it will be enough for the third uncle."
He smiled and pulled her, "Ivelle, everything is not as simple as we thought."
Blossom came and dragged him to play. He couldn't stand the pleading of Blossom so Jordan left with her.
As Ivelle sat on her chair, she didn't know what kind of past Blair had that would be unacceptable to people like Orion.
In the evening, at the door of the villa, Liam looked at her with deep eyes. "Since you have returned to the capital, you should go home with Blossom. After all, Boss Jordan and you have divorced and you have lived together with him for a long time to stir up gossip."
Ivelle was slightly stupefied, she knew in her heart that he didn't want to look at her and Jordan together.
Jordan didn't say a word but politely saw them off.
Blossom played for a day and because she was tired, she just laid in the living room and fell asleep.
Ivelle was squeezed between the door frame and his chest. "I didn't sign the divorce papers four years ago. Legally, we are still husband and wife and married couples live under the same roof, can't we?"
As she looked at his obstinate appearance, she was not able to stop herself from laughing at how serious he looked.
Tilting her head at him, Ivelle smiled, "OK, so I will stay."
The man's black eyes overflowed with happiness.
Sometimes it would be cloudy and sunny in autumn at the capital.
On Tuesday, Ivelle was a little bored after studying in the villa for several days. After all, it would be boring to stay alone for a long time.
She simply changed her clothes, peeled all the fruit in the kitchen, and would send it to the school for Blossom. It seemed that she was not allowed to go to school so she could only send Jordan.
The sky was a little foggy, but fortunately, Jordan gave her a car and there was no traffic on the road.
She immediately found a parking space before it rained heavily.
Lightning and thunder came so suddenly, Ivelle got out of the car with the food box and walked towards the Astley Building.
Not wanting the rain to have her clothes drenched, she ran all the way to the Astley building.
There was still thunder and lightning in the sky, which brightened the foggy sky.
Many passers-by took shelter from the rain at the Astley's gate. Ivelle squeezed through the crowd and entered the Astley's hall.
Ivelle didn't ask at the front desk. She just took out her cell phone and called Jordan.
As soon as she opened her phone, she saw several missed calls, all by Jordan. She was in a hurry to take shelter from the rain that she didn't hear the phone.
The phone rang again. Ivelle picked up the phone and stood aside, not blocking people coming in and out.
"What just happened?" The man's voice was deep and in a haste.
Ivelle was stupefied. As she looked at the heavy rain still falling outside, she said, "No!"
For a moment there was so much thunder.
On the other end of the line came the man's low soothing voice, "Don't be afraid, I'll be right there."
There was a voice on the other end of the phone, "Boss Jordan, this will." The voice was from Felix.
Jordan spoke in a low voice, "Another day!"
Ivelle was stupefied for a moment and stood in the hall. She forgot to move for a moment. "Are you in a meeting?"
He said, "Hmm!" The thunder sounded again and his gentle voice came from the phone, "I'll be home in fifteen minutes!"
Ivelle was afraid of thunder and he seems to remember it even after four long years. The southern side of Primrose would always have thunderous nights, Ivelle would always embrace Blossom because she was afraid, although he was also afraid, she had to be strong and deal with it.
As she listened to his hasty breath, she said. "I'm fine."
Before the words were spoken, she saw that someone had come out of the special elevator for the president. The man was as slender as jade, and he who had always been elegant and reserved was sweating because he was in a hurry.
The man was handsome and stood out in the crowd.
Ivelle put down her phone, faced him in his direction, and threw herself into his arms. Wrapped around his waist, she leaned against his heart, and said in a muffled voice, "I'm fine. I'm not afraid of thunder."
Seeing that he was so worried, she couldn't help but feel warmth in her heart.
He was surprised by her sudden appearance and then hugged her tightly.
Afterward, she felt embarrassed. She was in a daze for love a moment ago and forgot that this was Astley's hall.
There were a lot of eyes around them, she looked at him, a little embarrassed, her face burned very hotly, "I am so bored at home alone, so I brought you fruit."
He put his arms around her, smiled, raised his hand, and brushed with his fingers the messy hair on her forehead. He smiled, "Well, let's go to the office and eat."
When Ivelle got on the elevator with him under the eyes of everyone, she could not help but sigh. Ivelle estimated that Astley's employees had something to talk about that day.
