###Chapter 367 Me After I Met You - Part 11
Jon looked at me, then glanced at Eliza and said, "How did you two come in together?"
Eliza opened her mouth and said very quickly, "I met her in the courtyard under the restaurant. I haven't seen Miss Ivelle for four years. I have always wanted to say thank you to her. I happened to meet her there, so I decided to say a few more words."
Jon wondered, "When did you meet?"
"We met four years ago!" When Eliza spoke, she looked at Liam with a smile. "If it hadn't been for Mister Liam and Miss Ivelle four years ago, I would have probably died already. Today, I naturally wanted to say thank you."
I pursed my lips. I have always felt that her purpose was not so simple, but I couldn't say anything wrong for the moment. So I shut my mouth.
Liam frowned slightly and seemed to have forgotten the existence of the girl, but he has always stayed very quiet with strangers and often did not open his mouth.
Blair slightly oblivious to what was happening bowed her head and stayed silent.
Frida glanced at Eliza and raised her eyebrows. "Your brother and sister are kind. This clumsy girl has been turned into a white-collar worker by both of you. Not bad!"
Obviously, this was directed at me and Liam.
After a pause, she continued, "You don't have to worry, Miss Eliza. I'm afraid both Liam and Ivelle have already forgotten about it because it was such a long time ago."
Eliza smiled. "I was helped by them. I have what I have today because of them. How can I forget?"
Frida raised her eyebrows and said, "Why don't you make a promise with them?"
She said this abruptly, and for a moment Eliza blushed and did not open her mouth.
Frida, with a straight mouth and a cold temper, continued, "The best way to be grateful to people is by not disturbing them. Otherwise, it would be revenge, don't you think, Mr. Liam?"
Why was I listening to what she said?
Liam did not open his mouth. The waiter brought the soup, he took it and placed it in front of Blair, which was quietly acquiescing to Frida's harsh words.
When we came out of the restaurant, it was getting late. Frida went to bed early and left early with Zayn Heather.
Jon and Parker seemed to have something to do when they left, but it was a little embarrassing to leave Eliza by herself.
Parker told us that she should take a taxi once she leaves, although it was difficult to pick up any in this area. It was true that the restaurant was high-end and private.
Jordan didn't seem to be in the mood for fighting. He pulled me into the car and was ready to leave.
When I saw that Eliza was standing beside Liam and Blair, Liam nodded at her.
Afterward, Eliza got on the car followed by Liam, and the car left, leaving Blair alone in the restaurant.
I froze, a little surprised. Did they quarrel? Why were they leaving her behind?
"Let's go back!" I opened my mouth and tugged at Jordan's clothes.
Jordan glanced sideways at the rearview mirror, and naturally, he saw the woman standing in the cold wind, and could not help frowning.
He turned the car around and went back to the restaurant door.
I got out of the car and looked at Blair. It was windy outside and her cheeks were a little red from the cold. I couldn't help frowning and feeling bad for her. "What's going on? Why didn't you go with Liam?"
Blair smiled softly and looked soft-tempered. "He sent Miss Eliza back home first. Soon, the family driver will arrive to pick me up."
Liam, what kind of brain he has?
Holding my breath, I pulled her into the car and told her to call the driver not to come anymore.
In the car, I held my breath and called Liam.
It rang a few times before the phone got through. "What's the matter? Ivelle!"
"Liam, your brain is seriously good for nothing. If you don't use it, can you just lose it? Why did leave your wife on the road and sent someone else back? Are you freaking out of your mind?"
Blair did not expect me to call Liam. Surprised for the moment, she tried stopping me in a low voice, "Ivelle, you don't have to scold him. I'm fine."
I clapped her hand and whispered, "It's all right!"
Liam on the other end of the phone was shocked for a moment, wondering why I was angry. "A driver at home will come to pick her up, so don't worry."
I suppressed my anger and felt that he had really gone too far. "Liam, she is your wife. She is still pregnant. Are you thinking all right?"
What kind of brain would make him send a strange woman home and leave his wife on the road?
"I'm not going to marry her, Ivelle. To me, she's just a fertility tool. You don't have to treat her like a sister-in-law at all. When I meet the woman I really want to marry, I'll take you to know her and let you call her sister-in-law. Don't worry. The drivers and servants in the family will take good care of her. I have a sense of how to treat her nicely. You take good care of your body. Don't think too much about it and just be good!"
Liam's voice was not loud, but Blair and I sat close, and she listened to every word he said
I didn't know what to say for a moment. I hung up the phone and looked up at Blair carefully.
She turned pale and looked like she was in great pain. She glanced at me and flashed me a smile to appease my anger as if she was saying that it will be all right.
She had teardrops at the bay of her eyes, probably because she didn't want me to see her pain, so she looked out of the window and avoided my sight.
I felt sorry for this girl. Also, I seemed to see who I used to be on her.
Quiet all the way, Jordan sent Blair back to Liam's villa downstairs and was greeted by a servant who was very considerate and welcoming of her.
After saying goodbye, Jordan drove and saw that I was silent. His eyes were warm and fell on me, and his voice was mixed with concern and curiosity. "What do you think?"
I leaned back in my chair and looked at him directly, somewhat puzzled. "Jordan, do you remember the day when you picked me up downstairs at the hospital four years ago?"
He folded his lips, put his slender fingers on the steering wheel, knocked, and nodded, "Well, of course, I remember."
Seeing what I was thinking, he continued to say, "Yeah, what's wrong?"
"I happened to have a B-ultrasound examination that day. The baby was six weeks old. I didn't think you would suddenly pick me up that day and wait for me downstairs. When I got on the bus, I kept thinking that if you knew I was pregnant, I wouldn't have mentioned divorce to you, but it was very complicated. If you used your child to trap me, it would be shameless of me to ask you still for divorce."
I didn't look at him. I just set my eyes on my fingertips. I noticed that my nails were a little long.
He seemed to be waiting for me to finish. After a moment of silence, I continued to say, "Later, Nicole had an unexpected miscarriage. I watched you dote on her and take care of her. I planned to divorce you and I would keep the baby. So I had a fake abortion, but I didn't think that eventually you would fall in love with me and end up like this."
The car slowly parked on the side of the road. His long fingers raised my chin, letting me and him looked at each other. I felt like I was drowning in his dark and deep eyes.
I was in a daze and I didn't know what to say for a moment.
His eyes were slightly sad, his voice was deep, and finally, he said, "If I wanted to divorce you, I'm not sure if I can take care of you love you wholeheartedly for the rest of my life. Even if I was not sure if I can love you and take care of you, it's still more painful for me to leave you."
