###Chapter 428 - Everyone's Soul is Half-Human and Half-Ghost – Part 7
Fortunately, Kian Hastings became sober after a while. He eventually leaned back on the sofa and was quiet. They thought he had drunk too much and fell asleep.
When Ivelle Astley looked sideways, she found Kian Hastings staring at the ceiling in a daze, frighteningly quiet.
Looking at the way he lost his mind, she couldn't help it and looked at Jordan Astley and said, "Who did this to him?"
He said nothing, raised his eyebrows and did not intend to answer what she meant.
After thinking about that, she approached Jordan Astley and said, "Nicole Biden? Apart from her, I really can't think of anyone else."
When Kian Hastings heard this name, he sat up straight from the sofa. He looked at Ivelle Astley, angrily opened his mouth and shouted at her, "Nicole Biden? You are blind. What's so good about her, Ivelle Astley? She just had some money and looks good. I can give her money if she wants!"
Looking up at Jordan Astley, she saw that he looked nothing unusual and seemed very calm.
Looking at Kian Hastings cautiously, Ivelle Astley smiled and tried to comfort him, but she always felt that she would laugh as soon as she opened her mouth, so she just stopped talking.
On the contrary, Jordan Astley put his arm around her and lowered his voice. "Don't worry about him. He'll be fine when he wakes up."
Ivelle Astley whispered, "Is Kian always like this?"
His long fingers were draped over the water cup and the quilt was sent to his mouth. His thin lips were a little red, which looked very attractive.
"Occasionally!" He uttered then looked at her. He noticed that she was staring at his mouth in a daze. So, he put down the water cup and raised the corners of his lips.
She immediately came to her senses and gave a dry cough to hide her embarrassment.
Her heartbeat was inexplicably accelerated and thought that this man was probably a leprechaun who could captivate and bewilder people.
Later on, Kian Hastings went silent again, probably feeling that it was useless for him to yell like that. The alcohol made him really drowsy and eventually, he fell asleep.
Ivelle Astley also just lay on the couch with her eyes closed, just resting.
Then, Jordan Astley glanced at her, his black eyes fell on her, and his voice was low and quiet. "Let's go home!"
She promptly nodded and looked at Kian Hastings. "Shall we send him back?" she asked.
He shook his head and replied, "No, just take him down."
With that, he got up, picked up Kian Hastings with one hand, who was very drunk, looked at her and said, "Let's go!"
Out of the Garfield City, the driver of the Hastings family came forward to help Kian Hastings. He also said a few words of thanks to Jordan Astley, and then helped Kian Hastings to go home.
Jordan Astley's car was stationed in the parking lot. As he watched Kian Hastings being picked up, he looked at her and said, "Wait for me here. I'll drive!"
"I'll go with you!" Ivelle Astley said. She insisted because she knew that the parking lot in the Garfield City was very big, and it took a long walk.
However, he stopped her. "I'll be here in a minute. Don't run around. It's cold here, so go inside and wait."
With that, he found the Garfield City waiter and took her into the store.
After all, she couldn't beat that man, so she had to wait for him in the store.
Bored while waiting, she was a little surprised when she saw Jon who was currently holding a woman in his arms.
She couldn't help frowning. In her memory, he seemed to have never had a girlfriend. Later, when he was with Parker Wesley, she automatically thought that he didn't like girls. Now, suddenly he was so close to girls.
Although the Garfield City was big, people who were familiar with each other could see each other at a glance, even with many people.
Jon, noticing someone not from afar, was slightly stupefied when she saw Ivelle Astley. Originally, he was holding the woman's hand, but he instantly sent it away and walked towards Ivelle Astley with a smile in his face. The woman with cigarette followed him straight away.
He stood right in front of her and asked, "Don't tell me you came alone."
"I'm with Jordan Astley.", she replied unreluctantly. Then, the woman came beside him.
Ivelle Astley's eyes fell on the woman next to him but didn't ask. She just said, "Relax."
He smiled and said, "I heard that you sent Sunshine Weld and Brad Silverman to Medford. I remember, I told you that Maisie Rogers didn't want the Silverman family to recognize her."
She nodded, "I know, but there are some things that we can't control. Besides, Brad Silverman just took her to Medford to play, not to let the Silverman family recognize her."
He sneered, with a chill on his face. "Ivelle Astley, your thinking is so simple. Brad Silverman is a gentleman, but it doesn't mean that the Silverman's family is also a gentleman. There are a lot of jackals, tigers, and leopards around him. You let her go to Medford. It's not as good as you thought."
As soon as she heard that, she was stupefied, and her subconscious thought that he knew something. So, she looked at him and said, "What do you know?"
He hooked his lips, raised his hand and put his arms around the dusty woman around him. "I don't know, just by intuition. By the way, Ivelle Astley, we seem to be getting farther and farther away," he said.
"Jon, I don't know what you mean!" She was starting to get confused and felt like he was bit of a stranger to her because of that conversation.
He smiled and said nothing more. He raised his hand and pointed behind her and said, "Go and see your man, he may be haunted by a leprechaun."
When Ivelle Astley frowned and looked back, she found that Jordan Astley's car had come and parked at the gate of the Garfield City.
He was blocked by a woman at the door, which looked a bit like a chat-up.
After looking at Jon, she paused and said, "Jon, next time, let's have dinner together."
He raised his eyebrows and took the half-smoked cigarette butt from the girl beside him, held it in his mouth, looked at her and said, "Yes, you set the time."
Looking at Jon's unruly appearance, she opened her mouth, but she didn't say a word after all.
She then turned and walked towards the gate of the Garfield City. As she approached, she heard the conversation between the two people at the gate.
The woman turned her back to him, and her voice trembled, tugging at Jordan Astley's sleeve. "Mr. Astley, how can't I compete with her? I have been by your side for two years. If you take one more look at me, you will find that I am much better than Ivelle Astley."
Ivelle Astley easily recognized the voice. It was Linda Kent, and it seemed that she was drunk and was almost shamelessly rubbing towards Jordan Astley.
Ivelle Astley was slightly hiding and seeing everything that was happening. If it hadn't been for Jordan Astley's good self-control, Ivelle Astley was afraid Linda Kent would have been thrown out directly at that time.
Holding back his anger, Jordan Astley said, "Let go!"
Linda Kent did not relax. She held him a little tight to stick to him even more and said, "I am the most suitable woman for you, Jordan Astley. In order to be together with you, I can try to do all the things you give me to do. I am the only one who can give you the greatest help in your career."
With these words, Linda Kent's explicit clothes were pulled under her shoulder. From Ivelle Astley's point of view, she could almost see most of her smooth back.
It was not difficult to imagine what could be seen from Jordan Astley's point of view.
Most of the people in the nightclub came to have fun. When they saw that scene, they took a look at it. Some people admired Linda Kent's figure and beauty, while others cast a wretched and blasphemous look at her.
Jordan Astley, a gentleman, looked at her coldly and almost gritted his teeth and uttered, "Please have some self-respect!"
Ivelle Astley heard that he didn't want to listen to Linda Kent say so much nonsense. He wanted to leave early, so he started to look up and look around for Ivelle Astley.
