###Chapter 429 - Everyone's Soul Is Half-Human and Half-Ghost - Part 8
When he finally saw Ivelle Astley, he pushed Linda Kent who pulled him away, without the slightest pity.
He strode towards Ivelle Astley in a low voice. "Why are you here?"
"I met an acquaintance!" Ivelle Astley opened her mouth without a specific explanation of what happened with meeting Jon.
He raised his eyebrows and pulled her, ready to leave.
However, how could Linda Kent just let him leave? When she saw Ivelle Astley, her eyes were so cold. She was so drunk that she wasn't in her right mind, so she looked at Ivelle Astley with cynicism.
Then, she looked at Jordan and said, "Jordan Astley, look at us. Take a good look at us. Am I not as beautiful as her? Or am I not as good as her? I can give you what she can give you, and I can give you what she can't give you. "
Speaking of excitement like scenes in some movies, she had no regard for her face and tore open her clothes on her chest, revealing her flawless chest area, while pulling Jordan Astley's hand on it and saying, "Feel it. I can be at your mercy in bed and I can do better than her."
After all, it was a public place, and her actions will undoubtedly attract a lot of attention.
Jordan Astley's face was so grim. Almost without the slightest hesitation, he suddenly shook his hand and pushed Linda Kent away.
She lost her footing in high heels and took a few steps back. Then, she hit the corner of the table on which she was sitting earlier and bruised her forehead.
Maybe it was the pain that woke her up a little bit. She looked up at him and found that the people around her were all looking at her. She could not help bowing her head, aware of her exposed body.
Almost subconsciously, she reached out and tugged at her clothes to block it.
But after all, she was a drunken person. Even if she was sober for a moment, it was only for a moment. She bowed her head and began to laugh leisurely.
Then, she looked up at Ivelle and Jordan Astley. Her eyes was moist as she stared only at him. Although she was smiling, the tears in her eyes were still unabated.
She raised her hand and pointed at her. "Ivelle Astley, what means did you use to seduce this man? Why is he so infatuated with you?"
Then, he looked at Jordan Astley and said sarcastically, "What's so good about her? She is entangled with Aaron Badger. Do you think she is clean? Look at the pressed news and see how dirty she is! You still want her even though she's filthy? Why? Don't you men avoid stale food?"
It was almost an instant, before Ivelle Astley knew it, Jordan Astley had already held Linda Kent's neck.
There was suppressed anger on his face while Linda Kent's face flushed because of shortness of breath.
He squinted his black eyes and said coldly, "If you want to die, I'll give you a ride."
As he said that, the strength of his hand increased.
There was a sound of discussion and gasping around, and Ivelle Astley reacted in hindsight. Undeniably, Linda Kent thoroughly angered Jordan Astley.
He had a murderous intent.
When Ivelle Astley saw someone taking out a cell phone to take a picture, she almost subconsciously ran to Jordan, tried to open his hand and said, "Jordan, take it easy, let's go home."
Once the news got out, Jordan Astley would be certainly criticized.
No matter how good a man was, once he was exposed that he was hitting a woman and had a tendency to violence, the social media world would not investigate the matter at all, he would be directly given the capital crime.
That was Jordan Astley after all. He had been in charge of Astley for many years. However, Linda Kent was not enough to make him that angry.
He withdrew his hand, raised his thin lips, took some banknotes out of his wallet, folded them and stuffed them into Linda Kent's plump chest.
He smiled in a gentleman manner and said, "You are lucky to have these tips. I have a penchant for cleanliness, you cannot do this kind of stuff. This money is enough for you to take a taxi back."
A piercing wound with a sharp knife was, at best, a pain in the flesh, but this sarcastic remark was more painful than a sharp knife.
Linda Kent's face instantly became white and pale.
Jordan Astley's words were nothing more than mixing her with those street girls in the red-light district.
Her soul and self-esteem were trampled underfoot.
She looked at him, and tears came running from her curly eyelashes slowly.
Jordan Astley fixed his clothes and stuffed his wallet into his pocket gracefully. Then, he held Ivelle Astley in her hand and walked out of the door.
A heartbreaking cry could be heard from the area. Upon leaving her, a group of people was starting to surround Linda Kent.
In a place like a nightclub, even if it was high-end and clean, there would always be shady people who come and go.
Linda Kent's beauty and figure were the best of the best, not to mention that her breasts were exposed just now. Clearly, she would be targeted.
Meanwhile, when they got out of the door, Ivelle Astley stopped, so Jordan Astley also stopped and looked back at her.
His eyebrow was not as fierce as before. He asked, "What's the matter?"
After thinking about that, she said, "Jordan, she needs someone to take her back!"
He frowned, his eyes fell on her, and his face sank slightly. "Ivelle, she doesn't deserve your sympathy."
Ivelle Astley completely understood why he was angry. It might be because of Linda Kent's words, either sarcastic or mocking, that touched Jordan Astley's trigger point.
This trigger point was her. His anger came from Linda Kent's words that insulted and disrespected her.
Seeing that he was leaving, she stopped him and said, "I'm not sympathizing with her, Jordan. She's an employee of Astley. The employee you just praised at the annual meeting. If something happens to her, she represents not only herself, but also Astley. Just find someone to take her back, and make sure she's safe. Everything else is fine."
Sympathy?
Part of it.
Her understanding of Linda Kent was only based on a few meetings. If she had never heard what Luna Malfoy said, Ivelle Astley would probably not care about what happened tonight.
However, those words were heard by her, so she still had compassion in her heart.
After being silent for a long time, he sighed and compromised. He raised his hand and invited the waiter of the Garfield City to instruct a few words. He then looked at her and said, "Is that all right?"
She nodded with a smile, grabbed him, and said, "It's all right, come on. Let's go home."
In the car.
Jordan Astley was not in a hurry to start the car. His pair of black eyes looked at her without moving and said, "Ivelle, you don't seem to be so hostile to her?"
She was stunned and subconsciously asked, "Who?"
"Linda Kent!"
She paused and thought, "In fact, it is not because there is no hostility. It is just that, I know that you have me in your heart because you are sure enough that you love me. So, I know that no matter how many people around you lure you, I am not afraid because you will always choose me."
He continued to stare at her with his deep eyes. "Do you trust me that much?"
She nodded and looked at him with certainty and said, "Jordan, we have already old enough, and we can see and figure out a lot of things."
He was silent for a long time, and then he started the car. He was speechless all the way.
Ivelle Astley felt there was nothing wrong with that, but she always felt that he seemed to be a little too silent.
