###Chapter 453 Those Who Have To Wait At The End Of Years - Part 7
###Chapter 453 Those Who Have To Wait At The End Of Years - Part 7
Ivelle frowned and stopped answering. She didn't know these things in detail. The clothes she wore on weekdays were arranged by Jordan and Felix. After all, they are all external things that have the same purpose. Clothes that cover the body and worth dozens of dollars have the same purpose as the clothes that can be bought for hundreds of dollars. The same thing with the clothes that sell at the price of tens of thousands of dollars can be worn, too. After all, comfort is the most important quality that people should look for. Why care about these petty things if the cloth you bought for a thousand dollars wouldn't make you confident and comfortable?
When he bid 10 million dollars for the box, the Dragon and Phoenix box was finally given to the man in the suit. As for Ivelle, the box had no significant value. All she wanted was to open it.
After thinking about it, she asked Felix to ask the man in the suit for his number. If necessary, Ivelle thought that he should also be curious whether the Dragon and Phoenix boxes that they both have could open each other.
The next auction is all jewelry and some antiques. She didn't quite understand and uninterested in it. She was ready to leave after watching the event for a while.
Kyle is a staff member, and she still needs to help and finish the entire event after a while.
Felix and Ivelle went out of the museum. After a few steps, they were stopped.
"Miss, please stay!"
She couldn't help and glance at the man who made them stop. Ivelle looked back and saw the man who had just bought the box and couldn't help but smiled as he greeted him. "Hello!"
He nodded. "Miss, can I buy you a cup of tea?"
She looked sideways at Felix and thought for a moment. 'What if I'll this man directly that I have another box?'
Felix nodded and signaled that Ivelle could accept the invitation. She nodded, looked at the man, and said. "What's your name, sir?"
"My surname is Brendon. Miss, you can call me Eliseo Brendon." He opened his mouth with a slight smile that oozed with some composure.
She nodded and smiled. "My name is Ivelle Weld. Please give me more advice."
He smiled and made a gesture of invitation, "Miss Ivelle, please have a drink with me."
Then, they entered a teahouse and sat down where the elegant and charming tea artist performed the tea art.
Eliseo was not in a hurry to open his mouth, but just looked at the woman performing tea and said. "The tea ceremony in Hempstead is famous for thousands of years of delicacy, and we are lucky to be able to taste it today."
Ivelle didn't open her mouth. Felix glanced at him curiously and warned with a low tone. "It's better for Mr. Brendon to go straight to the subject."
Eliseo looked at him lightly, smiled, and then looked at Ivelle. It was as if he considered Felix's suggestion and said. "Just now, I heard that Miss Ivelle had a box in her hand that was very similar to what I bought at the auction. I am very curious, so I wanted to give it a try and make sure that the box was genuine and can open each other."
Ivelle answered with a thin line on her lips. "Mr. Brendon, you thought what I thought. Unfortunately, I left the box at home. We can give you a picture though. When it is convenient for you, we can take the box with us. Let's try and see if we can open it."
He arched his eyebrows, drank his tea, and smiled. "Miss Weld is still thoughtful, but I am very curious. My box was auctioned. How did you get that box?"
She frowned vaguely and paused. "My box is not auctioned, it's just a thing left behind by my elders in the family."
Ivelle saw Eliseo's face slightly turned confused, but only for a moment. After a few seconds, he smiled again. He looked at her and said. "Miss Ivelle, so I guess you must have been born into a famous family. This box can't afford to be built just by a good carpenter."
At this point, he frowned slightly and said thoughtfully. "Although I am not a native of Hempstead, I still know Hempstead's history and clans. It seems that there is an influential family named Weld in Hempstead!"
She smiled and glanced at Felix. He understood and looked at Eliseo. "Mr. Brendon, you think too much. It doesn't matter if we are either from influential clans or not. Although this box is left by my grandmother, I still don't know if the box auctioned at you is a Dragon and Phoenix box. So, we have to reconfirm."
"By the way, we came out too late, and it was getting late so we'll go back first," Ivelle said dismissively.
Eliseo frowned slightly, looked at her, and said hesitantly. "Miss Weld, this is--"
She smiled and interrupted him. "I'm really sorry, but there is my child waiting at home. I have to go back and take care of him."
With that, she got up. Eliseo seemed to have something to say more, but when he saw that Ivelle was ready to leave, he didn't say much.
When they went out of the museum and got in the car, Felix started the engine, he glanced sideways at the car that followed them in the rearview mirror. The corners of his lips rose with some disdain.
Ivelle looked at it and saw that the driver in the car was Eliseo and asked faintly. "Have you checked this Mr. Brendon?"
Felix shook his head. "Not yet, but we'll know who it is at night."
Looking at the Mercedes Maybach behind them, Ivelle frowned slightly. "There should be someone behind and controlling him."
Felix nodded.
What puzzled her the most was why did Eliseo want to set her up?
"Are they going to look for something from me?" She opened her mouth a little confused.
Felix shook his head slightly. "I think he's going to put that box on and try to match it with the one you have." After a pause, Felix looked at Ivelle and said. "Did you ask exactly where that box came from before?"
She shook her head. "Since I was a child, I saw my grandmother keep it in the cupboard. It didn't seem to open no matter how hard we try long ago. I thought it was a jewelry box. I didn't pay much attention to it when I was younger, so I didn't put much interest in it."
He gave a hum and said faintly. "The more that Brendon seems to want to know, it solidifies the fact that there is the man who's behind him that's also interested in the box."
Ivelle pursed her lips and stopped. She had to look into these things and knew for a fact that she couldn't make a concrete decision just by guessing.
The car behind them continued to follow. Probably for fear of being too conspicuous, it pulled away for some distance.
Felix drove and headed in the direction of the villa. Ivelle couldn't help but say. "It's not safe to let them know the address. Let's get rid of him first."
After all, it wasn't clear who the enemy is. Ivelle decided that they will find out he's an enemy lurking in the dark. One thing is for sure and clear, it is not safe.
Felix nodded and changed the gear to speed up. Fortunately, he was very familiar with Hempstead. It wasn't long before he made a circle and got rid of the car that followed him.
When she returned to the villa, her eyes were dark, Blossom already fell asleep. Mrs. Marcela put all the things ready for them downstairs.
When she saw Ivelle got back, she greeted her and informed. "Your husband called me several times and asked if you were back. I'm afraid Jordan's worried. Please call him back."
Ivelle nodded. Something was going on all the way home so she didn't look at her phone much. She found it was turned off only when I found it.
Simply, Ivelle went back to the bedroom to recharge her drained battery. After washing, she called Jordan. As soon as she dialed his number, it was connected immediately.
He seemed to have been waiting for her call, and his voice was a little low. "Are you in bed?"
Ivelle thought that it was funny. She turned on the loudspeaker, put her phone on the dresser, and said to him. "I just took a shower. How about you?"
"I miss you!" This man, sometimes he really is sweet and clingy.
Instead of being mushy to him, she just smiled and said. "How was your day? Is it raining in the Capital?"
During the Tomb Sweeping Day, it was drizzling. The rain in the river city was patter. The rain water was sufficient in the sowing season, which was a good thing.
Jordan hummed as his response and said in a hoarse voice. "How was the auction?"
After thinking about what happened, Ivelle said. "I saw a box just like the one I have at home."
"Why don't you film it?" He spoke in a shallow voice.
