###Chapter 454 Those Who Have To Wait At The End Of Years – Part 8
She was stupefied for a moment. Ivelle wanted to ask him how he knew that she didn't shoot it, but it suddenly occurred to her that Felix must have told him.
After a pause, she answered casually. "The price is too high. I don't think it's worth it."
In which he countered. "If you like it, it's worth the price. Besides, it makes sense."
Knowing that he was arrogant, Ivelle didn't bother to reason out with him but just said. "I was invited for a drink by a man named Eliseo. Felix left a message. After the Tomb Sweeping Festival, I want to ask him to open that box."
He answered and said. "Well, what time will you go out tomorrow?"
"Maybe a little earlier, the graveyard is a little far away."
"Well, when will you come back then?" Jordan asked curiously.
She smiled and always felt that he was like a child who always wants attention.
After they talked about the most random things, Ivelle felt sleepy. When she hung up the phone, she went to the bed early and instantly dozed off.
The next day.
Because she had to go to the cemetery, Ivelle got up early. Blossom was still half asleep. When they got on the car, she simply laid down on her and went to sleep.
Felix probably came early because he was driving. It was obvious that he didn't sleep well last night and his eyes were a little black and deep.
When Marcela cooked breakfast in the morning, Ivelle looked at him and said. "I'll switch with you later and you eat the breakfast first."
He at her looked sideways, shook his head slightly, and smiled as he refused. "No, I ate this morning."
Today is Tomb Sweeping Festival, Ivelle can't help but say. "In fact, I can go there by myself. Felix, you also have to visit the grave. You can go home and be busy."
He smiled, shook his head, and said. "No, my parents are here, they will commemorate our ancestors. The people who care about those who departed are here. They'll go to the graveyard to see their ancestors. The younger generation, as long as they know the land, wouldn't be bothered."
'All the people we care about are here, which is probably what all of us are most willing to say in Tomb Sweeping Day. In our life, we care about the people we love and thank the Almighty that they are still alive. We don't need to experience death, we don't need to cry and miss in the rainy season, let alone suffer.' Ivelle thought.
'This is probably a great blessing in life.' As she was dazed in her deep thoughts, she can't help but have some realizations.
After driving for a while, he said. "By the way, I checked that Mr. Brendon last night. He is from the Capital and the information about him is very secret. However, I read some materials and found that he had met the Master of the Preston family several times."
Ivelle could not help but frown. "Then, he should know the Preston family."
After hesitating for a moment, she couldn't help but wonder. "Is it possible that Eliseo is a member of the Preston family who patted the sandalwood jade box just to find another box?"
Felix looked at her from the rearview mirror of the car. He was silent for a moment and answered faintly. "It's hard to say."
It was noon when they arrived at the graveyard. The continuous drizzle stopped and the sun finally came out. When she looked at the sky, she was elated as soon as she saw that there was a rainbow hanging in the graveyard. It seems that the air and atmosphere were particularly awake.
The memory of Sunshine is so good that she can find the tombstone only at once. Even if a new tombstone is added to the graveyard, she still found it.
As for the customary acts, they have to worship the ancestors and the elders first. Five years have passed and Grandpa Astley's photo has been a little blurred to the point that they can't almost see his appearance.
Then, Blossom suddenly asked Ivelle. "Mom, are we all going to die?"
She nodded. When she was a child, Ivelle didn't understand what death was. When she grew up, she found that all the people around her had left one by one.
Some people left, and we parted with them before we could even say goodbye.
Ivelle answered her child's query. "All people will die, and none of us won't be immortal."
Blossom did not understand and looked quite confused. She just looked at Grandpa Astley's photo in a daze. Ivelle thought a little disappointed because Jordan did not come.
When he left, Jordan had grievances in his heart and did not come to see him off. Now, his grievances fade away, and it seemed that he missed his grandfather less.
Ivelle doesn't know whether it was a good or a bad thing. Someone was crying in front of the new tombstone. Right at that moment, she thought that it was someone who has just left. The grief of his family has not faded away yet, and they were still very sad.
Ivelle didn't like crying at the grave so she took Blossom to say goodbye to Grandpa Astley and went to Grandma's grave.
All of a sudden, Blossom pulled her and asked. "Mom, why is that uncle in front of the grandma's tombstone?"
Ivelle looked down and saw a tall and slender man dressed in black. He stood in front of her grandmother's tombstone solemnly and sternly. Because his back was turned against them, his expressions could not be seen clearly.
After Ivelle raked the memories in her mind, she can't remember who that person is. In her memory, she didn't seem to know who that man is that stood in front of her grandmother's grave.
Looking at it strangely, she couldn't help but go forward and say. "Hello!"
The man froze slightly and looked back at her coldly for a moment.
He was handsome and has cold facial features with a bit of defiance that exuded from thousands of miles away. He looked at Ivelle and did not speak. He just threw her a faint glance, then turned to go.
When she saw the remnants of the white chrysanthemum and sacrifice in front of the tombstone, she couldn't help looking at the man and said. "Sir, you are--"
The man looked back at her and said coldly. "I'm a passerby!"
It was a shallow three words. He answered her like there is no other meaning behind the flowers that he just left in Ivelle's grandmother's tombstone.
As she watched him walk away, Ivelle can't help but wonder when her Grandma knew such a person.
With the farewell of Blossom, Ivelle no longer thought about it. The tombstone of Maisie was the last that they visited. Although five years have passed, the weeds have not been damaged and it always looks a bit brand new.
Ivelle never fully understood Brad. Maybe he has never loved her, let alone Maisie. For him, they are all passersby and are full of guilt.
Because they are no longer here, Brad was the only one left behind and was full of guilt and regret.
If both of them are still alive, Ivelle was afraid he will still be cold and indifferent to them and even become cruel.
On the way back, she met the cold-faced man again. His car was parked in front of the graveyard as he looked brooding, cool, and domineering.
When he saw her and Blossom, he took a faint glance at them, then put on his sunglasses and drove away.
On the car, Felix said. "Ma'am, Boss Astley asked me to book a flight for the evening. Do you think that's all right?"
She smiled and said. "Yes!" It's all booked, so it can't be refunded.
As soon as the car started, there was a sudden sound of brakes which shook her eardrums.
The car suddenly stopped, and Blossom laid in her arms. Felix stabilized his mood, looked at the black car in front of him, and squinted slightly.
Ivelle also came to her senses and saw two men that came down from the black car with wrenches in their hands. Obviously, it was aimed at them.
The window was smashed.
"Ma'am, call the police!" Felix opened his mouth as the window glass on the driver's seat had been smashed down.
The door was opened, and he was pulled off by two strong men. Then, he was tied up and stuffed into the car.
Ivelle was confused for a moment and pulled out her cell phone to make a call. But then, before she could make a phone call, it had already been snatched away from her.
Without waiting for her to respond, the door of the back seat was opened. Two strong men, one on the left and right, looked at her with a straight face and said forcefully. "Miss Ivelle, come with us!"
She hugged Blossom and was worried about scaring her. In the midst of the commotion, Ivelle composed her mind and calmly asked them. "What are you going to do?"
"It will only take you half an hour, come with us!" The two men spoke with a cold expression on their faces.
She was worried that they would hurt Blossom. Ivelle didn't react too much and got out of the car with Blossom in her arms. She looked at the two men and said calmly as much as possible. "Lead the way!"
